Welcome to The Deep Dive. Today we're looking at something really crucial for structural engineers. You know, that constant push for faster, more accurate work designs that work globally. Exactly. It's a lot of pressure. Yeah. And we want to explore how our innovations really help make that happen for you. Make it more straightforward. Absolutely. That's really our focus. We're always working on optimizing the software, adding features based on, well, your requests and the latest tech. Yeah. Just to make sure you have practical, powerful tools. Right. So our mission today is to explore a few key features. We'll touch on the GeoZone tool, get into Advanced Wind Simulation with RW-I-D3, R1-3. R1-3, right? And our DeLoodle API interface plus the design standards we've integrated. Yeah. Each one is designed to really make a difference in how you approach projects. Okay. So let's

start near the beginning of many projects. Getting that essential load data, snow, wind, seismic. It can be a bit of a headache, right? Finding it, making sure it's right. Oh, definitely. The old way. Finding data from different places, checking it against codes, it just takes so much time and errors can creep in. So the GeoZone tool, how does that cut through the noise? Well, it's about efficiency. It provides a, well, an automated way to get those loads, snow, wind speed, seismic data. And importantly, it does it while checking against standards like ASC7 and NBC. So you get a really precise overview fast. It helps minimize those early compliance risks, you know? That sounds like a huge time saver for getting started. But then you've got forces like wind, which are, well, dynamic, much less predictable than static loads, especially on complex buildings. Exactly. Simple code rules sometimes just don't capture the full picture for say tall structures or unusual shapes.

So this is where RWND3 Irwin 3 comes in. What's the leap forward here? It really is a leap. Irwin 3 goes beyond those standard provisions. It's basically a digital wind tunnel. A digital wind tunnel. Okay. Yeah. It lets you numerically simulate wind flows around any building shape. However complex it might be. So you could accurately figure out the specific wind loads on all the surfaces. So not just generic values, but tailored to the actual design. Precisely. It gives you much more detailed design specific data, much more confidence in the analysis. Okay. That's powerful. Now, thinking about complex designs, parametric modeling, integrating different tools is becoming essential, isn't it? Not just a nice to have. Absolutely essential. Work flows are getting more sophisticated. So let's unpack the integration side. How do we help you connect our tools into your specific workflow? Right. We offer the dual API service. It's based on GRPC, which is great for high performance communication across different platforms. Okay. API, GRPC. What does that mean? Practically. It means flexibility. It

uses Python and C-shark, giving you direct seamless access to, well, pretty much our entire product range. So you can script things, automate tasks. Exactly. Whether you're using Python for scripting parametric studies or maybe C-sharp for building custom applications, you get that direct link for automation, optimization, or really complex stuff. Very useful. And speaking of complexity, global projects, different countries, different rules, compliance can be a real challenge. Oh, it's a major hurdle. Keeping track of all the different regional standards. So how do we simplify that? How do we help ensure designs are compliant, say, here or overseas? What's really helpful here, I think, is having the standards built right in. We integrate a huge range of them directly into the software. Like which ones? Well, Eurocodes, of course. Yeah. US standards, AIC, AC7, German, DIN standards, British standards, many others from around the world. It streamlines the checking process. Massively. It simplifies compliance right within your design workflow. It makes those global projects feel much more manageable, gives you a confidence.

Okay, we've covered some really powerful tools, GeoZone, Irwin3, the API, integrated standards. So let's tie it all together. What does this mean for your day-to-day work in our main programs? It means integration. These features aren't just separate add-ons. They tie in seamlessly with our core software, like R-FM6. R-FM6. R-FM6, yeah, and RS-Cab9. R-Stab9. R-Stab9, and R-section1. R-section1. R-section1. It creates this unified environment so you can carry out really complex analysis and design more efficiently, more accurately. Less jumping between different software, more focus on the actual engineering. Exactly. More time-invading, less time-wrestling with data or different programs. That makes a lot of sense. So to sum up this deep dive, we've looked at getting loads fast with the GeoZone tool, handling complex wind with Irwin3, customizing workflows using the API, and managing global compliance through built-in standards. It really seems focused on efficiency and accuracy. It is. It's about giving you versatile, powerful tools.

Ultimately, we want you to feel equipped, you know? Equipped to tackle even your most ambitious projects with real confidence and precision. That's what drives us. Great stuff. Thanks for breaking that all down. I pleasure. Discover our product features for efficient work.
