Dr. Janet Runge has played a pivotal role in shaping entrepreneurship at UNLV. With an M.B.A. from the University of New Orleans and a Ph.D. from LSU, she has dedicated her career to supporting start-ups, small businesses, and family firms. As the founder of the UNLV Center for Entrepreneurship, she has designed and directed the Global Entrepreneurship Experience, developed UNLV’s major and minor in Entrepreneurship, and launched key programs like Entrepreneurship Week in Southern Nevada.
She has also mentored students in the Governor’s Cup Business Plan Competition, producing 18 winners/finalists, and created a Business Plan Competition for high school students in 2002. Join us as we dive into her journey and impact on future business leaders!
