Emma Willis Launches FTD Fund for Research & Caregivers

There, the 47-year-old announced a new fund called the Emma and Bruce Willis Fund for dementia research and caregiver support. The fund focuses on Frontal Temporal Dementia, or FTD, and aims to boost awareness, fund research, and help caregivers. The fund is based at the Entertainment Industry Foundation. Emma accepted the award for both herself and her husband, Bruce Willis, who received his FTD diagnosis in late 2022 at age 67. Bruce's family first shared news of his aphasia in March 2022. By February 2023, they specified it as FTD, a condition that affects the brain's frontal and temporal lobes, leading to issues with speech, personality, and movement. Emma has spoken openly about the challenges of caregiving. She wrote a book to guide others through the process, stressing how tough it can be without
