There's a Washington Think Tank that has proposed capping annual Social Security benefits to $100,000 per year for couples to shrink this deficit in the retirement fund, which

4:10they have done a few things over the years. That is increase the taxes, Social Security charges to, it used to be virtually nothing. It used to be pennies and now it is pretty substantial with both the employer and the employee paying into the Social Security fund. If you work a long time and you are paying and you're making a good living, you're paying into Social Security and you're getting back a good chunk of money. You could literally get $100,000 a year, not as an individual, but as certainly as a couple. I think the maximum is individually get $60,000 a year, something like that, which seems pretty astronomical. The other way that they're shrinking this deficit is by just increasing the retirement age. It used to be 65, now it is 67 and the reality is, a lot of people say it should be

5:12a lot older than that because people don't retire at 65 anymore. They don't even retire at 67 anymore and for full Social Security, I mean, I blew past 65 a long time ago and I got, I pulled into my Social Security when I was 70 and that's what a lot of people do, the max and I had the max and I've way funded Social Security. But the point is Social Security, you're supposed to get it back. This is not a tax and it turns out that a lot of people, those that are in favor of, again, the wealthy paying more and more and more, one of the issues was limiting the amount of money that Social Security would take from you. And so the six figure limit, well, a lot of people have from the retirement world have come in and said, come on, any cap you put on Social Security, any cap is the slippery slope.

6:17For example, I think it's Medi-Cal in California if I'm not mistaken, which is a 3% tax. Well, it turns out that the 3% tax is not means tested, it goes on forever, which means a lot of people are paying more for that than any other tax. So the Social Security program is going to run out of money by 2032, actually not run out of money. What will happen by 2032, if it isn't funded more, you're going to see a 28% cut. You're going to see a 28% cut because by 2032, I'll either be dead or I'll be in diapers or I'll be in some facility and I'll think I'm Napoleon. So there are a lot of us that are not particularly worried about that. But the bottom line is Social Security was created in the 30s by FDR as a way to supplement your savings and your retirement. Because in those days,

7:25when you were old, you were destitute prior to that after the depression started. You were just destitute. There was no system. So here comes Social Security and Social Security every year since then puts a max on what can be charged for this Social Security tax. And at the end of your life, you retire. Well, it turned out or it used to be you'd retire 65 and then you'd be dead at 66 or dead at 68 and there was plenty of money. And today, it's not even solvent. I'm about where it won't be solvent. I have made, I've told you over and over again, my mother who retired early at 62 was getting Social Security checks until she was 98. Tell me she didn't win out on that system. So the promise of Social Security, if you pay into the trust fund, you're going to get enough back to retire at least reasonably if you have any other retirement program because it is supplemental. Unfortunately, how many people live on Social Security? How many people live on Social

8:33Security that live in the Southland? I mean, I make fun when I get calls on handle on law and on this show, I make fun of people who are on Social Security that they're living in dumpsters and eating cat food. And so the reality is, well, they're living in dumpsters and eating dog food, which is a little bit more tasty. And there's more, more of those various brands. So there's a proposed cap of what it, well, increased cap of what you pay and more importantly, a cap of what you earn and what you can earn. A lot of people don't realize that you can get $60,000 a year on Social Security. If you've paid enough into it, and if two of you have paid enough into it, you're talking about $120,000 a year. That ain't a bad retirement, but it cost you a lot of money to pay into the

9:36Social Security. So that's the move. And the move has happened over and over again, but all of these programs have been shut down, the changes in Social Security. It's hard as hell to get changes in Social Security for two reasons. One, it should not be means tested as far as a lot of people are concerned. Also, it's the third rail. When a politician screws with Social Security, whoops, and it used to be when Social Security first started, the argument against it, I mean, this became really controversial because FDR was labeled a communist, a socialist, how dare the government paid any money to help folks out. And that was one of the reasons that Herbert Hoover lost to FDR in a landslide because Hoover believed that the government had no business getting involved in people's welfare or social programs and FDR said exactly the opposite

10:41that the government has every business getting involved because the government should be for the people and help out. I'm watching a documentary on FDR, really interesting stuff. It's on Netflix, by the way, if you want to see it, if you're willing to pay 28 bucks. Okay, coming up. Yeah, here we go with some more. Let's look at the votes. Let's redo, re-look, let's do a vote count again, campaign stunt. This is Riverside County, by the way, not Fullers in County, in Georgia. Oh, yeah, we're in the middle of that one. KFI AM640 bill handled here on a Friday morning, March 27. Oh, what a day, what a day. The big news is that TSA agents are going to start getting paid. The Senate voted 220 in the morning. This morning that's Washington time, 1120, our time last night, and they finally cut a deal regarding payment and

11:47ice and who's going to get paid? What? But the bottom line is TSA is in that negotiation to start getting paid. So you won't see four hour lines any longer. You'll just see your normal two hour lines when you go to the airport. They were got stuck in when there's a lot of flights going out and got stuck in those lines. Yeah, it's no fun. Okay, this is a story I want to share with you and it was a reporter who interviewed Chad Bianco, who is the Riverside County sheriff. And what he did is he went to court and got a warrant to seize more than half a million ballots in Riverside County. And the appeals court declined to interview, just intervened, just said, no, we're not going to touch it until the attorney general went to the Riverside County Superior Court and said, whoops. And then they turned around. So they went immediately to the appeals court.

12:53The appeal court says, we're not dealing with this. And then the Riverside County Superior Court, oh, yeah, they jumped in it. So what is this all about? Well, it's all about voter fraud. We know that because if a Republican loses, it doesn't matter where it is voter fraud. Do you know when the salt started and you know who started it? It was the president. It was the president who started the voter fraud movement, the vote. And he even started before he lost the election in 2020. He said, if I lose, it will be rigged. And you saw this huge stop the steel movement. And to this day, the president is fixated. I mean pathologically to the 2020 vote, Biden, Biden, the vote was stolen. I mean, okay, it's over already. And so it hears the other issue.

13:57And he is so fixated on losing, having lost the election, that he's installed election deniers in key positions in government, that their claim to fame is either their MAGA, president supporters or their deniers that the election was ever legitimate. And usually both at the same time. And the reporter said when interviewing Bianco said from the very, very beginning, Bianco said, this was not political. What he said is we have an allegation of fraud with numbers that just don't add up. And no one has been able to give me a reason. And we have to find out the exact reason. That's plain and simple. That's fraud. This is a criminal, criminal aspect. And so he points out to what happened and how it works. Because he says there are 45,000 more ballots counted than were cast. Okay, so it is explained. The Riverside County registrar voters, Artenoco,

15:04gave a long presentation explaining why the 45,000 more ballots counted than cast, why you can argue that. Because the actual difference, if you look at the vote is 103, that's the difference. And this, and by the way, that's out of 1.4 million voters. Now a group that went to Bianco and they get allegations, no proof, of course, because it's all allegations about the stealing of the election. And Bianco said this is a straight-out criminal investigation has nothing to do with what happened. It's straight, it's straight crime. This isn't political. Okay. So how did this group, the citizen, quote, citizen auditors, self-proclaimed auditors, get their 45,000 number? Riverside tallies, the ballots are counted as

16:10they come in. So for the first 11 days that voting was happened, mail-in ballots came in later, by the way, someone was actually sitting there and makes a handwritten note for every ballot that comes in. It's handwritten. Not only is it done electronically, but every ballot comes in, it is handwritten. And that's for more than 600,000 ballots going through 2,500 workers and volunteers. It's often an inaccurate, not every ballot is going to end up being a good ballot, because some lack signatures, for example. So the registrar, Tenoko, said that these handwritten logs were raw data. And also, there were missing ballots from other sources that increased the final tally, such as people who register on the day they vote that wasn't counted at all. So if you understand election law and how it's run, the number that comes in that first day

17:12is not accurate. You have to add all the numbers. And if you add all the numbers, every which way people vote, the number of inaccurate votes is 103. And what Tenoko is saying is, you guys just aren't counting it. You're not giving the whole story. And one of the arguments in Fulton County, I'm going to give you an example, that was used by election deniers, and particularly Rudolph Giuliani. There's a video of some election workers taking ballots, boxes of ballots, and putting them under the table. And Trump said, those are all Trump votes that were put under the table and were not counted, proof that the election was stolen. And there's the video. But the video also shows that they did, and they didn't, uh, that it wasn't broadcast, was that head of the elections

18:14of that particular precinct said, we're stopping now at midnight. We've been going on for 12 hours. We're stopping at midnight. We're going to take a six hour break, seal those boxes of votes that have not been counted yet, put them under the table, lock them up, and six hours later, they took them out of the boxes and started counting again. But that wasn't shown. The only thing that was shown are the boxes, uh, votes that were put under the desk and and not been counted yet, proof, and by the way, all those votes, every one of those votes were Trump votes, not Biden votes, proof positive. We're getting this war and more. So now we have Riverside County. Now we have Fulton County in Georgia. And that was the big one that President Trump argued, uh, all the fraud happened. And here's the problem. And I'm telling you that

19:14that it's not so much those. I'll tell you what is going to happen. The next election, every single Republican who loses is going to argue the vote was fraud. And when you have Democrats talking about democracy being attacked, that is what is being attacked. The vote itself is being questioned if a Republican loses. That's a shame. 23:21across the board. Now, Amazon and some PR person going, hey, this is the idea I have and Amazon say, yes, we're going to do that. First of all, let's start with something called DSP. These are delivery service employees. Well, actually, they're delivery service, quote, partners, small business that Amazon contracts with to manage all of this huge hundreds of thousands of workers that bring packages to customers, sort of the last hour. You've seen the last mile. You've seen a lot of these non-Amazon drivers, just their cars and bring packages to your door. Those are DSPs. These are drivers that are called partners. And there's a big problem of foot for Amazon because there are hearings and there are arguments that they're not getting good working conditions and no benefits and all of that. They're independent

24:24contractors. So here's what Amazon has done in response to that. There are now, they're offering a thousand dollar prize for delivery drivers who share their stories about why they love their jobs. These DPS, these partners, these subcontracted partners. And Amazon is urging and tell us what drives you for a chance to win what's called a my why competition, including maybe your journey to becoming a delivery driver, what you love about delivering smiles to customers, how being a driver supports your bigger goals. I mean, they're they're leading these drivers. I mean, they're basically saying, here's what we want to hear, not just do an essay. I just saw a map of the protests up on Fox. And you know how you see these red dots that are in the cities, various things happening? For example, coverage of cell phones, that sort of thing. And it shows the different cities. Well, as far as the no-king's march is concerned, the number of marches, it looks like someone took a brush with red paint and just went just across the entire eastern seaport.

31:47There's even a no protest march in no-king's protest in the Arctic Circle coming up in Alaska. And they figure it's going to be the third one. It is the third one. And the organizers are saying that this one is going to dwarf the previous ones. And why is that? Because on top of those people who feel that are fundamentally against what President Trump is about. And it's no-king's because the argument is he really does think himself as a king. I mean, it's if not a king, certainly far greater than the other president in terms of presidential power prestige and narcissism. You also have people that are a little bit tired of skyrocketing gas prices, the war in Iran, the push to require US citizenship documentation, photo booths. Of course, the long lines at the airports. I mean, this is what ICE has done a lot of protests.

32:50If the election were held today, the Republican Party would be wiped out in terms of its majority. It would swing probably 40 seats the other way. And I'm just guessing. Now, I don't know what's going to happen between now and the election in November. But things have to change dramatically. There's no question. For example, Harris, when he was running against Kamala Harris. In terms of approval, he was up to points, not a whole lot, but an approval rating up to points. He is now down 42 points relative to where he was. And the Republicans, of course, are going our part and parcel. So you're going to see these no Kings March going across the country. And as I said before, the one March I went to, the one demonstration I've ever gone to was one

33:52of these no Kings marches. What I enjoyed was the guys in pickup trucks with the American flag that we're driving by and trying to run over people. That was to me, the most interesting part. You would never have gone to this march if you weren't married to Lindsay. That's true. You know what? That's absolutely that is so on you. It is on me. But I did it anyway. And yes, it was not that Lindsay forced me or she did ask because I knew she was going. And she said, would you go? I mean, considering how strong I am. And I went and you said, hell no. Why would I go to that thing? And the next thing you said was, yeah, I went. You're so you are such a wept. I'm so I'm so whipped. I know that. Do you have any idea how many yes-deers there are in my life? You have no idea. That's that like my wife would never ask that.
