In preparation for Netflix's Monster: The Ed Gein Story's premiere on October 3rd, let's talk about none other than the GOAT of horror inspo: Edward Theodore Gein.

In Part 1, we will discuss Ed's childhood and background so we can get a glimpse at what turned this sweet, albeit "odd" man into the infamous, grave robbing murderer who inspired countless horror classics like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Silence of the Lambs, and Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho - Forever changing the horror genre into what we now know it as today.
