This plan built on the 2025 Growth Plan and was just approved by the East Midlands Combined County Authority Board. It spells out how the authority will team up with partners to fund major growth zones and drive long-term development. Residents can expect real progress from past wins, like the 160 million pound East Midlands investment zone, which aims to create over. 4,000 jobs, plus funds for town centers and key sites in places like Nottingham and Derby. These efforts have already pulled in private money and revived unused land. Looking ahead, the plan ramps up support for clean energy projects worth billions, skills training to hit 80% employment, 2.2. Billion pounds and transport upgrades, including better buses and roads, new homes on brownfield sites, and community health initiatives.
