It's March 8th for the NFL. Let's get into it. Follow and subscribe for more Team News every day. The Philadelphia Eagles are dealing with major locker room drama just months after their Super Bowl L.I.X. victory. Jalen Hertz, last year's MVP, has drawn sharp criticism from fans and teammates for his declining play. Now StarWide receiver A.J., Brown wants out, and the team is actively shopping him in trade talks. Earlier this week, reporter Diana Rossini shared a telling story from her podcast appearance. After the Eagles playoff lost to San Francisco last season, a player asked her straight up if the team would move on from Brown or Hertz. That kind of tar from inside the building shows how tense things got even before the postseason ended. Reactions have been swift across the fanbase and within the organization. Players and supporters alike point to Hertz's struggles without Brown as a core issue. You don't usually hear teammates openly questioning the quarterback so soon after a championship.

Looking back, Hertz had a down year in 2021. His only season without Brown. He ranked 26th in touchdown passes, 21st in yards with just over 3,144 and 22nd in passer. Rating at 87.2. This past 2025 season, the Eagles offense finished 19th in point scored, their worst ranking since that same year. Unless they patch things up behind the scenes, Philadelphia could slide back to those nine win seasons from the late 20 teams in early 20s. With trade offers coming in for Brown, the front office faces tough choices to keep the defending champs competitive. Special thanks to our sponsor for supporting this episode.
