Gedetineerden in de Extra Beveiligde Inrichting (EBI) in Vught zitten in het zwaarste veiligheidsregime. In deze aflevering van de Parool Misdaadpodcast vertellen Wouter Laumans en Paul Vugts hoe de EBI in elkaar steekt.
Laumans: “Het is buitengewoon beklemmend om in de EBI rond te lopen. Alles is gericht op desoriëntatie en om het contact tussen bewakers en gedetineerden tot een absoluut minimum te beperken.”
Toch zou Ridouan Taghi deze zomer zijn overgeplaatst naar een afdeling waar ook Willem Holleeder en Taghi’s voormalige criminele zakenpartner Saïd Razzouki zaten. Zij zouden onderling contact hebben gehad.
