As a result of her being subjected to verbal abuse and bullying in the classroom, her school years were particularly trying. But she went on a journey of self-improvement which allowed her to emerge stronger and more powerful after such difficult experiences.
As a woman in a patriarchal society in India, she aims to eliminate the social stigma associated with being a woman by encouraging female education for impoverished children through a crowdsourcing project called Ave Marie project.
