E186 - Angharad Evans: Massive Breaststroke PB's and Finding Enjoyment Again

About this episode

At the Rotterdam Open Meet, in December 2023, Angharad Evans caused the British Swimming community to sit up and wonder if the University of Stirling swimmer has a chance at making the Olympic team when British Swimming Olympic trials come about in April 2024. She secured massive personal bests in the 50m Breaststroke (1 second), 100m Breaststroke (just under 1 second) and 200m Breaststroke (7 seconds!!). On this episode of the Propulsion Swimming Podcast, we talk about her massive improvements since making the move to Stirling from home club West Suffolk, what she's now targeting to improve further heading toward British Champs 2024, and why, despite being a nervous swimmer, she looks to make herself MORE nervous before races.
