E128 - BUSL: The Future of University Swimming?
About this episode
This week on the Propulsion Swimming Podcast, we are talking with the founders of the British University Swimming League (BUSL).
BUSL has been inspired by the NCAAs and the NFL structure with teams allocated into conferences, mini leagues, and compete in duel meets to qualify for the BUSL National Final.
The BUSL is intended to be a fun and competitive addition to the scarce university swimming schedule as a complement to BUCS, helping keep swimmers involved in the sport for longer than ever before. The BUSL is an entirely student-run league with a committee from universities in England, Scotland and Wales.
