Anytime of year. DP. We have had some wrestling happen since we last spoke just a bit Sunday night's main event.
There was a Sunday night's main event. But first I kind of want to just touch on Friday night's SmackDown last week. Johnny Gargato is alive. DP. It's no longer planking. Was it was it really was it planking or was it just being catatonic or whatever? I mean no, he's not planking. I think it transitioned from the ladder from the former to the ladder at the end of it. But all it took was a title shot to get him out of that trance in his hometown. And after a lot of shenanigans punk retains. So that's the main thing I took away from SmackDown. But and we're also going to get tomorrow night. SmackDown is starting in Mexico City tomorrow night. SmackDown. And we're going to get Sammy Zayn versus CM Punk for the World Championship.
Yeah, just a title match after title match getting rolled out here. I mean you can't have assumed they were going to be shenanigans. But he had disputed title in my bed. Yeah, it's going to be really good. It was good to see Gargato get some sniff of gold and that woke him up. And sometimes it's all it takes. It's just a little bit of gold to get you going. But I'm in time. Sammy Zayn CM Punk should be a lot of fun coming up here. If we are also going to get Naya Jacks versus Chelsea Green tomorrow night for the interim women's WWE Championship. Yes, yes, yes, 30 days are up. She's been cleared, quote unquote. So yeah, she got the mask on. No, she had to, she had 30 days hasn't been up. She had to defend it within 30 days. We're close to 30 days, right? I'd be assuming that's we're getting there. I don't know what day is day 30.
I don't think it's tomorrow. But I think we're good. Yeah. Baku's side debuted and defeated Miz and Kit Wilson. Yeah, that was SmackDown. That was SmackDown. Just wanted to touch on those couple of title matches that were announced for tomorrow night. So in between SmackDown and Raw, we had Sunday night's main event. Did you make it home in time? Did you, did you watch it? Sunday night's main event? I watched it. I didn't make it home in time. I made it home kind of in the middle of it. And then luckily these ones on Peacock, you can actually rewind while the show's going on. So I was able to watch from the beginning, but not live, but yes, watched. The only thing I didn't see, I guess, was that they had a, this Dominic and JD had a match. I didn't see that. Oh, that was on the pre show. Yeah. That didn't air on the, I guess with the feed I watched or
whatever, so I didn't watch the pre show. I guess I don't know if we'll touch on it when we get to Raw after this, but Jay, uh, Javon Evans during the JD Macdonna and Joe Hendry match came out with it. Yeah, the giant funco head. Yeah. hilarious. Oh, hilarious. Funco, Bobblehead, Popping. Oh, hilarious. That was great. That was the first time they've done that. That's it. So what did you think? Little Yachty last five minutes like you expected and we get the match and we get it right away. Um, and Trick Williams comes out and, and wins and the crowd is just so fucking behind him. I mean, that was just the pop for his entrance and the pop for his win was, was gigantic on Sunday. Yeah, it was cool. Little Yachty looked, actually looked pretty good in a ring. I thought, you know, the few things he did and expected the Kendo stick to come out and, yeah, we got the five minutes and that we expected when Corbin walked out with the US title still
having the frilly is on it. I pretty much knew Trick Williams was going to win the title back. No, he never changed it the whole time. Yeah, I was thinking like, no, if he comes out without it, then I think he's going to hold on to it. But yeah, was it like the phone that Yachty caught him with, right? Like as the match started and it was like, it's kind of like that moment from um, fight club. Like, why'd you have to hit me in the ear? Yeah. Like, you know, jit pistol ate a few in after that. I thought that's what I saw. I think so. Cause yeah, getting butt kind of cut open on by the ear. Like, that was exactly I think I thought of. Really, really in the ear, really? Really little Yachty. I'd probably said, I don't know, I kind of fucked it up. I'm sorry. He said, make it to his real. Oh, honestly, like the five minutes, oh, I thought when better than I was expecting and then Corbin and Trick have good chemistry in the ring. They had an excellent match and they've been having excellent matches. Those two work really
well together. Yeah. Yeah. I fully expect probably one more match between the two since I think it's one and one. So it's hard to say it. It's hard to say with the money in the bank coming up, though. Now we already got qualifying match and started. So you had a match to imagine. Might take a little time off between just to get through the qualifying matches before we have any. Unless they, unless they need, they don't have these guys to qualify for it. But I mean, for me, I think it's stupid not to put the money in the bank on Trick Williams. Unless they're, yeah, unless they're going to have Corbin costume, if they have a qualifying match and Corbin cost Trick Williams a match, maybe. Yeah, it's possible. But I would, yeah, I would absolutely love to have Trick Williams either hold the, hold the briefcase or at least be in the match because he's got to be an odds on favorite to win it. Yeah, we did get, well, we'll get into it. Yeah. We'll get into it when we get to it. We do have a, you have a qualifier for both the men's
and women's money in the bank. We have two more qualifying matches set, but we'll get to that after we're done with Sunday night's main event. How did you like the booking of Obun Braun? Because then they basically came out and did it again the next night. And by the way, Bronson reads back. Did we call that? Did we say it was time for Bronson to come back? You were, you were calling it. I don't know if we specifically said you would show up here, but you called him his return imminent. Him coming back would be perfect. And yeah, looked really good. Visions as strong as they've ever been. No, I mean, they've, they've, they've got this kind of weird thing going on with Paul Heyman. They have Maxine Dupri now, right? They have their, they have their valet who seems to be doing well for them enough. If you can get over the fact that you're at Austin theory, I just really kind of make me sick all over the top. Yeah. You know, Bronson read his back. Looks great. Braun is still Braun.
And I'm waiting for Logan Paul to get healthy so he can give him that fucking tag belt back. I mean, it's just ridiculous. But no, but I need to do that right away. I say, might they should just do that. I mean, they're not defending him anyway. So just have him hold the tag belt because Braun holding it is just stupid. So what's your thoughts on this whole dynamic now? Because basically the visions got over on Obo Femi twice. What's next? Oh, it was not dead, right? As Paul Heyman said on raw, you know, and Paul Heyman is still not like, he's still not, he's still not going to be like is so reluctant to go back to being their leader, you know? Right. He took some phone call there on on made events. We don't know who. A bit of in broad street could have been Brownson read absolutely. But he did hug him. He did give him a big hug and he was proud. It's interesting that yeah, they brought them back together. We thought the vision was going to be just kind of getting buried at this point. But that's fine if they want to keep them together. I think
I feel like well, Obo's probably going to have to now go through them. I mean, it's going to be open. Bronson Reed having a match. You know, in the next whatever, that's going to be kind of the next feud for him. I'm sure as they like, please don't tell me that old was going to now team up with Tazawa and Otis. Like, please don't be like, let's not play these kind of games, right? It doesn't. That's something you do. You've had like three world title runs and you're trying to do something different, right? Like, this is this doesn't. I don't know where they're going with this. I'm not going to I thought what they wanted to do. I think they did well. I just don't know where they're going now. But that's fine. That's a better than where they were before, I guess. So Oh, yeah, that's that's part of the problem with with Obo's that they we don't know what the fuck they're doing because they're open really messing it up. But you know, Pippen Bronson Reed can have a good feud for for a minute here. And yeah, you got to keep him singles matches or whatever. You can't try and drop in these goofy ass tag matches. That's not what this is about. And that's
not what Obo family is right now. So you should be like that. Like Brock Lesnar didn't do that kind of shit. Like that's what we're trying to do here, right? That's what I thought. I think the only time Brock Lesnar was going to do a tag match was when he turned on Cody. That's about it. Whatever that was that after WrestleMania. That's about it. Yeah. So yeah, keep that going. And yeah, I think I feel like Paul Heyman at this point, it almost feels to me like Paul Heyman's going to be lining up with Obo Femi and helping him get over because he kind of already passed the vision on to Maxine when you said, you know, you got her now, you know, she's kind of gave the blessing almost, you know, so I to me, it feels like, okay, now he's not going to go back and do that. He's going to do something else. So who else is there? But Obo. Yeah, I, yeah, I just, I guess I'm still just not not sold overly thrilled overly thrilled with what they're throwing at me there. I suppose
is what I'm saying. So but whatever, I mean, we'll get there. I'm not condemning it yet. I've just said I'm not not all in quite yet either. So we'll see. We'll see. It's interesting. Jade Cargo and her crew, they took care of Charlotte Alexa and Tatum Paxley, who I really like Tatum Paxley, by the way. I think she's going to do some good. She gets off on her own, gets the kind of reveal more of that character and a little bit more of what she can do on her own as well. I think that's fine. I'm not really sure where they're going with that. They end up having another, no, they're on Smackdown. Hey, they're on Smackdown. I mean, Jade got the pin on Charlotte. I just, and they have the, yeah, they had the little Tatum Paxley Charlotte Flair collision thing. Just kind of potentially do some dissension. Yeah, they have any money in the bank. Qualifiers scheduled for tomorrow on Smackdown. I'll bet you that I'm sure they do. I don't see one list.
There's an NXT one. Maybe that's it. Lani Jordan low of ice for color. Do you guys have a? Yeah, that's a sweet game. When you're talking about is on raw. Is that a raw one? Okay, we're going to get to that. Which is which? Maybe they're doing it on raw for three weeks and then Smackdown for three weeks. I don't know. Or maybe they're just going to announce them tomorrow. If I would imagine they'd probably get three. Right? So we'll see. Nonetheless, decent, decent triple threat, whatever. I was in overly excited about it. And I thought they delivered just fine. Yeah, it was, it was nothing to remember. It was hard. Yeah, I felt like there was a lot of, there was a good couple of times where they just didn't seem to mix very well and everything. But I, yeah, it was not really anything other than a basic tag match. Right, nothing fancy.
So let me get the exact time here. Where is it? There it is. Okay, so Saturday. Sunday 9 p.m. 10 p.m. Eastern Sunday 10 p.m. Eastern. I get this message from one Mr. Velvet pipes Christopher Platte. Hey, Zeus fucking Christa. It says Jesus in Christ, though, by the way, but I didn't want to say that. Why does every fucking babyface have to be the dumbest mother fucker on the face of the earth? He was obviously referencing Cody Rhodes. Well, I mean, doesn't that what all the biggest white meat baby faces do is they can't capitalize on being any type of heelish with any maneuvers.
And yeah, yeah, it's someone for the kick. And you go, oh no, he's begging me to stop, please. Yeah, I mean, it's fine. I don't, I didn't, it didn't bother me because I was pretty darn tutin' sure. And we talked about it last week that Randy Orton was going to win this match somehow because him and him and punk at money in the bank just sells tickets. Yeah, you're not going to put, I mean, you're not going to put Randy Orton in the money of the bank briefcase match. And Jim and punk, I mean, yeah, we're looking, we want that to happen. I mean, I know there's that whatever six other contenders in there, but Randy Orton has to get a shot here. I mean, it's, it's, it's, I mean, it could be Sammy Zane. Yeah, triple threat. Who knows? I mean, we got the other title to tomorrow night. Maybe it may be Orton interferes in that, that title match in the same as Aene. I mean, take away Roman. The title booking feels a lot more attitude, Aera, ask with the US title and
the ICT title and the WWE Championship just because they've been changing like the WWE Championship has been defended a lot, you know, so. Two Smackdowns in a row coming up here. It's great. Yeah, it's a good thing. Yeah. And the fact that they're the fact that we can say there's like six legit contenders that are all wanting to battle for the championship and fighting their way in is crazy. How often have we gotten that? It's funny because when we first started this show back in 2014, I think late 2014, early 2015, somewhere in there, we had a conversation on a show where we named the number of people that legitimately we felt could hold the World Championship. Because it wasn't that many really at the time until we get this influx of talent and young guys that stepped up and because it was such a time where there was so much change over, right? So we're not at that stage now, but I feel like I just kind of, there's just such a difference
in that type of feel almost 13 years later. Right? That's kind of, yeah, it's a really good thing. I mean, the fact that there's so many legitimate people that we could say like, hey, what the most going on. Yeah, yeah, that's crazy. Well, I mean, do you give Randy that 15? He's tied with 114, right? Yeah, sounds right. I'd give it to him. I'd love to see Randy get a couple of months right there then. Then you have John at 17, Rick at 16, Randy at 15, 114. Does anybody have 13? I mean, probably. I don't think so. I think the next is like edge had 11, I think. Brock ended up with 10, I think. Is this going to have a list thing? Yeah, like like, HBK and Undertaker and Hogan and
Macho Man, they all had didn't have that many that you'd Austin, Rock had like seven maybe. This doesn't show both shows just one title, so that's not right. No biggie. That's for another show. But I pretty much went down majority part of the list. Jericho, I think if you'd include, well, he never won in WCW, so never mind. Yeah, yeah. Well, the WWE title a lot. This one's got the Rock. But this is the WWE title, I think just Rocket 8, Lesnar 7, Hogan 6, Triple H at 9, Orton at 10, Cena's 14 of those. He's not even, you only heard. Brett Hart gets closer to 10. I think he had two in WCW. Yeah, he had five WWE titles.
We named the majority of the people. These are the big guys. Well, we'll see what happens. I mean, I wouldn't mind. I mean, they got a lot of options as far as that title goes on that side. I think they've books back on really, really well at the top. So we'll see what happens. Sunday Night's main event overall, I thought it was a really good fun show. I thought the crowd was excellent. And I just enjoyed it. I thought it was a really cool thing. I was so surprised. They don't do it on NBC anymore, even. They just do it on peacock. It's just for the streaming service. Yeah, that seems, I mean, I guess that's how we were going. It just really seems like that's the point of that kind of was to have it on a network television show, and then help skiddle a little more viewers, but with everybody doing, you know, moving away from that, I guess. Yeah, they want you to either. They want you to subscribe to their app. Man, that's good. Yeah, yeah, I got a John Cena 17, Ric Flair 16, Triple H 14 with Orton 14, Hogan has 12, Edge 11,
Lesnar 10, Rock 10, Sting 10. There you go. Sting 10 with what? With eight? No, he didn't want an AW. This is most title reigns. 10 times in WCW. I must have. Hogan 12, I suppose. Yeah, let's see. Is it is your list like like WWE recognize world championships ESPN? It's said WWE championships. Then maybe that's right. Yeah, maybe Sting did 10 times in WCW. I wonder what they're coming here. Well, Wikipedia says Sting at six WCW world heavyweight championships. Then he didn't have, I mean, are they coming TNA now that they're partner, that they kind of partnered with them? Maybe they counted TNA. It says who has the most WW work titles. Yeah, that's weird, because Sting obviously never won a championship in WWE.
It doesn't, yeah, it just doesn't, this world championship. So I don't know. We can look like they got, yeah, I mean, they got most of them, but then yeah, that one, that one's a little oddball. Moving on. We're already touched on the vision. As we move on to Monday Night Raw, Braun Breaker qualifies for the money in the bank, the very first qualifier defeating Rey Mysterio and Ethan Page. I can see him with it, you know, and maybe by the time he wins that Logan Paul has got that thing off his arm and he can carry his own tag title. That would be nice. Yeah, I think here at this point, it's the only men's qualifier, but I mean, I think we said between him and Trick Williams, those are probably the two best bets. To hold it. So I'm betting the area code for Oakland is 946. You want to look that up?
Because OTM or Royce Keys and OTM now called 946. It is not, but it also lined up with IDF as the letters that 946 go and correlate to in the alphabet. I don't know if that means anything to anybody. What would it, what should it mean? I don't... fucking care. Yeah, anyway, I guess they're called 946 though. There you go. Yeah, 510 and 341 are Oakland. It's 675309. Damn you Tommy, too, tone. Yeah. Are they from somewhere else? This is one of them from somewhere else. It's not. What, ask where the, where is the 946 area code?
Propose that question to whatever you're talking to. Whatever, whatever lake drying AI you're talking to. I just googled area code, the Oakland area code. It's not standard North American telephone area code. I don't know. Maybe Grocknall's. This is quality podcast. This is beautiful. Tune it into the DWI podcast today as we search for things we should have found out before we started it today. We've been doing this so long. We're lazy and we just like to fuck her out. It's Oakland zip code prefix. Zip code. Ask what's the, what's the zip code for?
946101 is the zip code for Oakland. So I'm guessing there's a few different zip codes like where we're from. There's a few different zip codes for each city. Sure. Yeah. Of course, it covers Oakland. I knew it had to be something with Oakland. All right. Good. I'm glad I, so how do you like this whole interaction? Because now they they burn their car. I'm sure it was definitely their car too. Like that's definitely their Yukon or whatever the fuck that was. Oh, yeah, absolutely. I'm sure they drove it, you know, to the show. It's pretty cool. Yeah, just though. What's that? There's a pretty cool pickaxes. Those silver with black handle pickaxes. They're used. That's pretty much whatever that was. Yeah. Yeah, I see that. Yeah. Okay. Whatever they say. You're on injury height. It's right now. Yeah, right. I think I'm not sure. Nothing else to do, but just watch TV. It's like they definitely watch everything this week. Yeah. Yeah, I love that. These guys just go in and they're causing havoc and random shit like that.
You know, it's awesome because it just builds up their characters and keeps them out of the rain. They can stretch it out. We're definitely going to war games with this. These have to be people. Like, I mean, it has to be those three guys with two other people. And then, you know, I hate to say it, but it's almost too stupid to be true that Roman and Jimmy and Jay and Jacob may end up with Solo or LA night on their side. You know, I'm I, yeah, we kind of been talking about it every week a little bit, like, which side they're going to be on. I feel like Solo is going to be on that bloodline side at this point, especially after they, you know, if he got beat up in the last week, you know, that he's can't be siding down the other one. And LA night, I don't really know where he fits. That's the thing.
The MFTs end up with 946. Solo goes back with the bloodline and you have a full five member bloodline. You have full five member 946 or full five member team with 946 and MFTs, right? And what if LA night finally wins the title and beats Roman Reigns? Because he's basically guaranteed the winner of pent on and Roman for the most part. I think by Adam Pierce this past week on Monday, right? Right, right. That's happening coming up here on Roth. I don't think that's a horrible thing to do. You can always take the belt off of LA night at Royal Rumble again and then have somebody else made of that WrestleMania, right? Like, I mean, or maybe he's super hot, but I'm just saying like, if you're ever going to do it, you could do it now. Take that title off of Roman. Still have him be super significant on TV and appearances because we're heading into such a crazy thing that we've cultivated now from the end of summer all the way into damn near thanks,
giving with war games. Well, and I think, yeah, like this is a perfect time to do it if they want to do it. And if you wanted to put it back on him before WrestleMania, you definitely can. I think you could do everything without him having the title as well. I think there's plenty of opportunities out there that they could do that with in a non-title match. And you kind of have a built-in reason to have him lose and to be angry about it is we have, you know, Royce Kees and his guys cost him the title, you know, give him the shield power bomb, whatever onto the table on the outside or whatever, like, cost him the title to LA night and give him a reason to be extra pissed at them going into war games. You can easily pull that off and make it feel legitimate, make it feel like, you know, it took all of those guys from to lose the title and you can have LA night, get his title run for a bit, go from there. I'd love to see that. Again, it's a great way to get the title off of him and
get us into war games with him to have a legitimate reason to be in war games. It's really at this point, it's more the Usos, you know, than it is Roman. Well, I mean, he was there for that part where they, what they, that they just had were, or no, was he maybe wasn't? Anyway, you know, that's still part of his. It doesn't feel like he's as involved to like, you know, it's a reason to really get him behind it. He just named him captains and gave him those fucking things and everything and he's been bought in Jacob around like, he'll be back. Don't worry. He'll be involved. He'll be involved. Soul, let's move over. Let's keep it on the money in the bank. Soul, Ruka, did Bailey get, did Bailey get a boot job? Is that what everybody's thinking? I don't think she did. I think he just don't often see her like, and I'll prop him up and like, well,
I'm out with him out like that. I mean, she might have, but I, I, I, she did more power to her. But anyway, I thought it was a really, well, I thought it was a really, holy Jesus, I want to like him. Then, and scene, that was a scene, a liar liar. He's an elevator. That's a great scene. Yeah, he always, I'll, I'll take from a liar liar. That's what the best. When he's in the, when he's in the courtroom and he's calling, he's like, and so saying all these names and everything and the red headed attorney on the other side. I can't remember her name. She's a great actress. And she's supposed to say something, but not what I'm about to say. She says, and she looks right at him and goes, yeah, you're an over actor. And the whole fucking room just loses their shit. Jim Kerri was about to say his next line. I was like, Oh, Jesus Christ. Jesus. That was one of the best. One of the greatest. I miss those. I miss when they do those. They used to do those. Put out, put out takes out the end. I'm like, yeah,
that used to be a thing like on a lot of comedy movies in the theaters too. Like the credits would start to roll. And then like 10 seconds into the credit, they would pull the credits back. And it would be kind of subdued while there was like a smaller picture of just like outcakes on the screen as well. And get the half screen or back when you used to have all the DVDs with the extra stuff. And never. Oh, yes, you get all the outakes. That's like the late 90s, early 2000s, they used to do that for like, yeah, every comedy haven't meet the parents. There used to be like TV specials on each network of sitcom outbreaks. Like once a year, they put them all together. That's right. Yeah, yeah, they would. That was great. Oh, they were all the sitcom to you. Yeah, those, I mean, all that stuff is hilarious. I love seeing it because I remember like fresh principle air and like a whole bunch of other shows. When we see all combined into like a half hour show. Yeah, they'll hold the thing to do. Or something like that. But back to this, I think soul is a great person to have
in the money in the bank match, whether she wins or not, I don't know. But the finish to this was perfect because Lyra is distracted by Bailey in the perfect space to hit that soul snatcher. And it was a perfect one too. So I really love the ending of that match. Yeah, yeah, that was fantastic. And I, yeah, Soul Rooka being in this makes a whole lot of sense. I mean, they kind of slept a little bit of a rocket to her with her winning the IC title so quickly. And she can hit a soul snatcher at money in the bank like halfway three quarters, halfway three quarter, not off the top, not off the top, but probably halfway three quarters to thirds up the ladder. I mean, you kind of have to or out and off the turnbuckle out into a table, maybe. Yeah, or that they do the ladder spot where they set up the the ladder vertical against the ladder and the ropes. They usually do a, you know, power bomb or something. Maybe she'll do the soul snatcher off of that instead. You got to do it. You got to set it up somehow. I mean,
something perfect. I hope to. Hopefully I wish her safety and success in her execution. We talked about Joe Hendry's awful. We can move on. We talked about how don't say his name. I think we talked about the end of the show, but we had a really good women's world championship match in Charlotte, Art and I Charlotte. Becky tried to offer her assistance to Stephanie Vaker. And there's so many of them. I'll have your back tonight, but then I get first title shot and Vaker is like, Vaker actually caught a really good promo at the end of the show with Becky in the locker room. I thought I'm like, you know, part of it was was in Spanish, but then a lot of it was in English and it was really well done and I kudos to her because that's just the last hurdle for her is to be able to give really good promos in English. And that was a really good stepping stone in that direction. I thought backstage, but what a
fucking great match live Morgan is just on a fucking hell of a championship run. She's having great matches. She has a music video out. She's in great shape. Stephanie Vaker looked great coming back here. I thought it was a really fucking good match. Yeah, her first match. I thought she was today. Yeah, I think that's the one thing we said was missing from her repertoire was being look at a really good promo and you know, having that and doing it in English, you know, that I mean unfortunately, that's what you have to have, you know, for the business and she's gotten so much better and especially about her time off. I feel it to us. It felt like she you know, really worked on that and you can see it coming through with these promos and it's really awesome and yeah, if I mean just the the group of these women right now is just perfect dynamic. You got such great talent in there and living stuff put on a huge awesome match and then you got back you waiting
in the wings. If you want to do a triple threat, you know, it's going to be just as awesome or if you want to, you know, rotate between these three for a couple, I'm all forcian these any chance I get. No, I completely agree because it's a good transition. I think if you're going to take it's a good call actually because if you're going to take the belt off a live, why have her lose? Why not just have Stephanie Vickair or Becky Lynch pin one or the other in a triple threat match. If we book that for money in the bank or something like that, right? Yeah, yeah, you can if you're wanting to take it off for her to for any, yes, for any stretch for any reason. That's a good way to do it and yeah, avoid her taking a loss. It has, gives her the excuse and the chance to get the title back or they each cost each other and then they have a feud moving forward and live keeps the belt all the way forever. I don't know. I wouldn't take off live for either of these two right
now. I wouldn't first. There's no reason in my mind. There's no reason for me to even think about taking the belt off of live Morgan until WrestleMania at this point in time for me personally. No, I would agree. I think I think this was one as well. I said, back when Stephanie Vickair had the title and I just lost it, I think is again, she never had the she never had the chase. Really? Or the reason for me to get behind her, get that kind of I always call Cody Rhodes that redemption story that build up. Overcome extended adversity. Right, there you go. Yeah, to get that big win and like, do it at WrestleMania. Have her win, Royal Rumble and take down live Morgan at WrestleMania then, you know, like, I think that would be a huge moment, huge match because you can see how well they worked together here for this last match they had. And yeah, there's no reason to take it off of live at this point. It's just the perfect champion and perfect heel going on right now and there's nobody that's in my opinion too.
Like it's worthy of having that title right now. You know, there's a good handful of apps. Great talent. Don't get me wrong, but it's not like the men's side where there's a good mix of these challengers that I feel like we could hatch out a little bit. Doesn't feel the same for the women's title there, the world title. It just feels like this is lives to have until Stephanie Vickair gets that build up and gets that huge moment, which you had to do at WrestleMania. You can't do it earlier. Well, that's kind of what's happened, folks, in the last week since we've been gone, excellence Smackdown, excellent Sunday Night's Mean event, a really good, quick raw, watching it today, it was like way less than two hours. And I'm okay with that. They don't care anymore about having a long show there. They're like, we're not going to force segments if we don't have them. And that's fine. I think Smackdown's back down to two hours right now too,
as well, isn't it? Yeah, it's been shorter too. And I feel like that's the way it should be. I mean, if you want to go force anything, don't make me, don't make me, don't let something stupid. Hit the big stuff. It's great. If you want to Smackdown three hours from Royal Rumble through WrestleMania, go for it, right? And then you want to have your two hour Netflix bras that during that time, great. But man, not having to sit through three hours of wrestling is really nice. Yeah, PLE, even Sunday Night's Mean event is two hours and you're done. Right. It feels like it moves along a little quicker when it's a little shorter. So better pacing. Yeah, that's about it. Better pacing. Don't give me something oddball to watch. Like, I get extending it because a lot of these shows, the big four that are, you know, two other two night shows that have a lot of matches. Sure.
I could see them doing some longer shows because there's going to be more matches on those. But otherwise, no, no, there's still recent to give me unwanted segments. We do have a couple announcements for money in the bank qualifiers for raw coming up. Kalani Jordan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Lolo Weiss. Lolo Weiss is main roster ring debut. He's been advertised for a while. And then Javon Evans, Austin Theory, and Big Cass. I don't know. Raquel or Lolo, probably, I don't know, K-Lani Jordan is going to win that match for the qualifier. Probably Raquel. Although it's Lolo Weiss' debut, so maybe. Yeah, that's an interesting one. And Javon Evans, Austin Theory, and Big Cass. It almost feels like it's a way to get Austin Theory in there to have Evans and Cass cancel each other out like they've been. There's as much as I'd love to see Javon Evans in that match.
Yeah, I'd 100% watch if on Evans in that match. If I had the choice. I'll get the help of you in the bank, bro. Right. There's got to be a way we get there. I mean, I don't see Big Cass being in the match. I don't see him taking a loss. But yeah, he's, so yeah, maybe it's just a reason to get Austin Theory in there. How have them to make some kind of big move or whatever, and theory steals a victory. Probably the way it's going to go, but I 100% would rather have Javon Evans in there. And the women's match, yeah, I feel like Raquel is going to get in there because she's one of the bigger, I mean, strong, you know, bigger isn't stronger women, taller, you know, that can maybe help out in the moves when it comes to the money in the bank match. So I'm kind of leaning towards her even though, yeah, it's low devices first match.
Gailani Jordan would be a surprise to have the NXT champ in there. Chad Gable defending versus Dragon Lee, the ICT title. I don't see Gable. That'll be a lot of fun. I mean, if you've seen those guys, you know, and the way they can, my cats trying to climb up on my lap. Yeah, this should be a really fun match. It could be a lot of good spots. I mean, these guys could really wrestle. So I'm looking forward to watching that one. And then Roman versus Penta should be an excellent, excellent main event on Monday, on Netflix. Any chance Penta wins this title? First of all, no chance in hell, sound bite. All right now, this is not a new, no chance. There's no chance in hell. There's been a long time since we played that. Right. And to find it again.
Should be an awesome match, though. I don't give you wrong. It's going to be a really, really awesome match. I think the crowd, I'm hoping to hear the crowd really behind Penta. But it should be, it should be a lot of fun to watch anyway. Last thing here today, I, do we take a commercial? No, we don't have to commercial. Let's take a commercial. We'll be right back. So, what time? Night one of triple mania 34 is tomorrow and night two is Sunday. What time if Smackdowns in Mexico as well? What time is Smack, Smackdown on early? Is triple mania is at 10 p.m. Eastern. So, it's going to be on afterwards. Yeah, I guess they're going probably Pacific time over there. So, it's seven o'clock. Yeah, that makes sense. 10 p.m. Yeah, it says Friday. It's 10 p.m. Eastern. YouTube. Got it. Right. YouTube. Yep. All right. Watch it on the tube. Watch it on the me too. I'm just going to run down the car. We're not going to go match by match here. We'll maybe talk
about a couple of different things, but I'll run down the car for night one first. Uh, Los Psycho circus, Dave the clown, murder clown, and panic clown versus Los Perros del Mal. Daga, Anhel and Bertol. That's um, Angel and Bertol. That's, I don't know if you know what they were. What were they called? But the carios, uh, they were those garcers weren't they or something like that, but Los Perros de Mal is a really, I think this is for the Trio's championship. So, I think Los Perros del Mal will win this one. Uh, Roxanne Perez is in a fatal four-way match for the triple A arena, Serena's champion chip. I think Queen of Queens, I think that means, um, Fabia patchy, Fabia patchy, uh, Nadi and, uh, La Hydera. No one is, no one to hold the first. Yeah. Is this a vacant title or is this a inaugural new title? Is this their first women's championship?
They just established, no, it's been around, I guess, says 1999, so it's been around. 1999, yeah. So, I guess number. How do we get here? Oh, reigns there. Ta-da-da. Great, great, even 2023. Yeah. So yeah, it's been vacant or discontinued, whatever you want to call it, I forget. Hammer, flavor. Yeah. Boy, before that tie of Elkery, Deano Piraza, Fabia patchy is the last one to hold. That's in this match. So, okay, yeah, it's kind of a rejuvenation. Nice. So, uh, Latino World Order, Cruis Del Toro and Joaquin Wild versus Los Cimeraconos, Ryo O'Medricano and Bravo Romerocono versus Tokyo Bad Boys, Kento and Nobu San versus Fraxium in a fatal four-way tag team elimination match. The 39th version of LaParca, who is the champion, the Triple A Latin American champion against Triple Thread against Lurado Kid and Mr. Guana. We have a mixed match. Adelisios
Minivikingo and Mascarita Sagrada versus Lady Shawnee, Jack Cartwheel and many, okay, this must be little people match. Yeah. Rhelevus. And your main event for Knight one is Ray Mysterio versus Omas. Hulgrande O'Merro Conno and Ray Mysterio's corner, Dominic and Dorian Ruldan in Omas corner. If Omas wins, his suspension from Triple A will be lifted. If Mysterio wins, Omas will be permanently banned from Triple A. Is it time for Omas to come to the WWE? Has he done enough? He's done great. He did great in NOAA if you remember winning tag team gold, right? He's been a wonderful heel giant down in Triple A. Is it time for it to come full circle? Does he get a little vacation after this and come back and make a huge impact in like the Royal
Rumble or something? Feels like it's time. I mean, I don't know what else you do with him there at this point. Yeah, have him win. Sorry, have him lose. And then, yeah, give him a break. Have him come back at the Royal Rumble. I think it would be really great. I mean, even if you want to wait for something else, sure, but I think it feels like it's time. Let's move on tonight to, um, did Ricky Saints beat Ray Phoenix for the Cruiserweight Championship? And is there a rematch for that in between now and Sunday because it says Ray Phoenix or Ricky Saints versus Jack Cartwheel, Minivight Kingo and Nathan Frazier, uh, Flamer or Flammer? Oh, see, she still does have the belt. So what's the other one for?
That's for a match. That's for the match. That's for Oh, for a match. That's for a championship match. That world's wide. Okay, so there's no more one contender match. All right. So yeah, that kind of the wording of what they did here. Yeah, I'm looking. Okay. So I'm just going to call it a number one contender's match instead of what they wrote. It's a lady. It's got to be lady Flamer. She's got red hair. Yeah, that would make sense. But she's held the belt for shit going on for years. Jesus. Yeah, 2023. Uh, there's a 15 man Copa Bardal, which sounds like a battle royale. All right. Um, Warray, here's some people I know. Warray versus priest and truth versus a team to be announced for the AAA world. I think this is another one. It's a war Raiders or Damian priest in our truth. So they must have a title match in between
before this for Sunday. Yeah. Um, El Carri serro versus psycho clown in a Mexican street fight. And then the grand finale of triple mania 34 Dominic Mysterio, your triple mega champion. Triple a mega champion. We'll take on the most beloved masked man in Mexico. El grande americano. I fully expect this to be a title change. And that could also be leading us to a Dominic Mysterio money in the bank. Rod. I would. Yeah, if you're not going to put it on trick. Yeah, we've been talking about Dom winning that thing as well. Uh, for a while, potentially last year, I think we even said to you. It would have been a good one.
If you had, what if you had Dom and Roxy with the money in the bank and live just totally forgets about Roxy's money in the bank because Dom has his money in the bank. And at some point, that would be interesting. I was glad I'm glad you went that way because I was thinking like, okay, if they've for some reason, don't put this on El Grande americano, Dominic can retain Roxanne wins that triple a, uh, Reyna's championship. Oh, sure. You know, and they have the titles there on that side. Just recalculate the I see women's I see, right? Yeah, she won the I see. I think she's still got that. Yep. So it would just be J.E. Everybody but big head would have some kind of title. That would be that would be interesting. But I do like that. I also do like the dual money in the banks that would be interesting to you. Be interesting. Well, there you have it folks. That's going to be the show this week. I'm surprised we got as much out of it as we did. I didn't want to jinx it because if I would have said, well, I'm much of a short day. Probably would have went another
30 minutes because it tends to go over an hour every time we say that. But we're right. The sweet spot right here today. Uh, football's back brother. Gotta love that. Yeah, we already had to go down with injuries. Oh, I know. Right. How sad. Uh, AJ Brown and Sam Darnell, AJ Brown is going to probably be out for a good four to six weeks. High ankle sprain is rough, especially for a receiver when you got a plant. Everything will stop real quick. Um, and then Sam Darnell great news for the Seahawks. It looks like he may only be out a couple of weeks. Just a week maybe. Yeah. Yeah, that's huge. How'd you, uh, we're going to we're going to talk a little fantasy football and have a few different people on from the league and just general topics. We're not going to really get into the specifics of our league because that's kind of boring, but more kind of football conversation at the end of the shows and maybe some guests. But how'd you like your draft? Um, folks, I tell you what, you can do a 10 man draft in an hour. You just do it online and set picks for 60 seconds
of cars. No one had a problem and it was done in less than an hour. Yeah, it rolled through quick. It was nice. Uh, I did it while while while doing while while working. I did this one. So it was, it was like kind of like, uh, I didn't do as the little as much kind of poking around as I normally would between picks. Um, I think I think I got a pretty good salad team, although ESPN ranked by a draft in a. So that means I'll finish the last, um, because that's usually how it goes. If you get a positive draft rating, you're usually not that great. If you like, and I did a lot of mock drafts this year and I'm in two other leagues. So I'm in like three leagues total. And you get a great every time you do a mock draft too, right? And it's the more that your pick lines up with who they're suggesting you to pick is how you get a better grade. And it's just kind of like, it doesn't work that way all the time because sometimes you're sitting there going, I'm not waiting.
And I dread. What did you draft? Third, third, third, third. And I was ninth. So like if you're more, if you're closer to like four, five, six or seven, you can kind of wait and see on some people. But when you're like one, two, three, eight, nine, ten, especially closer to nine, ten, one and two, there's like two rounds between you pick basically and you got to kind of just pick a guy sometimes. You know what I'm saying? So yeah, sometimes you want to jump ahead of like if you want to get a certain guy, you got to jump ahead of what you think because you got to, there's too much in between. What did you take? What did you take there? I took McCaffrey. It was the one, it was the one spot I didn't want to draft in because you got the top two writing backs obviously with Gibbs and Robinson. And then after that, it's like, all right, you got Huka, Jamar Chase. Jamar Chase. So there's, yeah, so there's a big collection of them. But yeah,
I didn't, I didn't want to go out and receive right. I always go running back anyway. And if McCaffrey comes back to full form, he's, he could be the number one. He could be the number one. I know I've had a decade. Exactly. And you know that. He's the same league. I'm at the old time. I may have taken him if he dropped to 9th. JSN almost dropped to 9. I was like praying and Dave took a work pick where you were. I think I mocked drafted and I actually took JSN one time and Jonathan Taylor's a good pick there too. That was the other way back. So but for me at 9 and 12, I went cook in Hampton. I was like, I'm not going to fuck around. And because the thing is, it's like Justin Jefferson and a couple of the decent receivers were left. And I was just like, I don't trust them. I trust these guys. I know I got some flyers on the bottom side.
Wide receiver wise. So we'll see. We'll see what happens. We'll see what we'll see what well. We'll see what happens with the Josh Jacobs. But I went back to back Josh Jacobs. And Marshawn Lloyd. So I got. You have it. You have it. Yeah. So I got I got those guys, which is interesting. I don't know what's back in Jacobs. But I think Marshawn Lloyd's going to be somebody that's going to be on your bench and you're and he's going to outscore someone in your lineup the first couple of weeks. Right. But it's the way it is. You kind of some players like that, you take it's like, okay, I got a way. I have to wait a week at least to see here. You know, right? Because you don't know what they're going to do. Yeah, especially if it's not like a legit, the standard starting running backs or whatever, it's like, you never quite know what's going to happen. Well, shit. If MacNafry can just have a season like he had last year, he had he had over 2100 scrimmage yards last year. So yeah, if you had to play the reg, if you had to play the whole season, he would have been the number one running back. He just injuries at the beginning, you know, coming back. Otherwise, yeah, he's always been the like top guy. So well, we'll see what happens.
Folks, we'll see what happens. We had a barn bird or 13 to 10 game last night. Two team that traveled halfway across the planet for no fucking reason. Like it's a upside down game. They took a 16 hour flight to go play a football game when they when they live like in the same state. Yeah, right. And it's like when one time we we've drove down the Cincinnati for a season opening tournament, big tournament down there, teams from every like 30 plus states. They're the 100 and some mod teams. First game, we play a team that's in our city league in Milwaukee. Why? We walk over there. We walked up for the handshake and opening coin flip and tournaments for softball because the tournaments who gets like the bat last, right? You know, okay. And we all look at each other and went, you want to just go to the bar and play darts for the game? We do each other. We always hang on at the end. We're like, you know, a quarter away across the
country. You play the same people, but anyway, we can tell stories forever. Let's get the lot of here. D.P. We made it an hour. We did it again. Five thirty five. Don't drink and drive drink and podcast. Where can people find you and this shoe all over the worldwide social media interwebs at its me D.P. P. All of them. And you can follow this show at podcast D.W.I. I'm the ex at facebook.com slash D.W.I. podcast. That's it. Three. You can follow via pc.tony. Yeah. We got a little little pcast in the house.
