Robert DuVal, the legendary actor from films like The Godfather and Lonesome Dove, passed away on February 15th at age 95 with one big, regret. Despite his stellar Hollywood career and four marriages, he never had a biological child to call him dad. He tried hard to become a father, especially with his fourth wife, Luciana Pedraza, who was 40 years younger. His closest close to him, say DuVal always thought the issue was with him, not his wives. In his first marriage back in 1964, he became a stepfather to his wife's two young daughters, ages 6 and 7. But he never adopted them during their 11-year marriage, and it never felt quite like having his own kids from birth. Just five years before his death, in his 90s, DuVal and Luciana attempted in vitro fertilization. He had also considered adoption and using a surrogate over the years.
