Duke vs TCU: Ngongba's Return, Foster's Absence

Duke scraped by 16-seated Sienna 71-65 in the first round, while TCU held off 8th-seated Ohio State 66, 64. Duke looked shaky against Sienna, especially on defense, where they trail by 11 at halftime and let the St. Shoot well from the field and beyond the arc. The team has not been at full strength entering the tournament, which showed in that close call. Injuries have hurt, duped, down low, and in the back court, forcing them to play short-handed and exposing weaknesses inside. Their big men and guards have been key to the season's success, but recent ailments changed the lineup. The good news is, sophomore center, Patrick and Gongba, side-mind by foot soreness, looks ready to return after a strong practice. Coach John Shire is optimistic, he can suit up against TCU. Meanwhile, junior guard Kayla Foster remains out with a fractured foot, and likely will miss this game and more.
