Duggar Brother Arrested for Child Molestation

0:00It's March 19th. Here's your Durham News in two minutes. Joseph Garrett Dugger, known from the reality show Counting On, was arrested by police in Tata Town, Arkansas, on March 18th, 2026. He's spacing charges of lewd and lascivious molestation of a nine-year-old girl from a family trip to Florida back in 2020. The allegations involve behavior with a victim under 12 years old by someone 18 or older. This comes amid a tough history for the Dugger family. Joseph's older brother Josh faced his own scandals years ago, including molesting girls as a teen and later a 12-year prison sentence for child. Pornography, which he's appealing, Joseph met his wife Kendra in church as teens and they started courting before marrying in September 2017. Her dad, a pastor, officiated the wedding. The couple has four kids, Garrett born in June 2018, Addison in November 2019, Brooklyn in February 2021, and Justice in February 2022.

1:03Details from Bay County authorities say Joseph asked the girl to sit on his lap, then on a couch under a blanket where he touched her inappropriately, and rubbed her thighs. He apologized, and the incident stopped. As of now, Kendra hasn't commented on the arrest. And Joseph is waiting for extradition to Florida while the case moves forward.
