Dublin Gang Jailed for Brutal Assault

0:00On March 25, five men tied to a family-based crime gang in Dublin have been jailed for between three and eight and a half years following a brutal assault on another man last year. The attack unfolded on February 12, 2025 at a house on Sheep Hill Avenue in Blanchardstown where the group beat, burned, stabbed, and branded their victim. The man, Barry Moore, was too afraid to testify against them, leading to guilty pleas on charges of assault, causing harm and, for one, false, imprisonment to boost gang activities. Jason Hennessey Jr. got eight and a half years. His brother Brandon, six years to run after his current term, ends on February 16, 2028. While Devon Hennessey received three years for stepping in early, Dean and Kenneth Fitzsimons, father and son, face eight and a half and eight years respectively, sending a clear signal against such organized violence in the community.
