About this episode
This week, Pastor Burke Perry visits to continue our series on Jesus's life in the Gospel of John. In chapter 8:1-11, Jesus is confronted by the Pharisees with a woman who had been caught in adultery. We can learn a great deal from His response. As Jesus treated the woman with compassion, He gained the right to tell her to change. As we treat others well, we can become participants in the redemption of those around us.
- You can be right and still be wrong.
- Jesus wasn't in the business of condemnation, but redemption.
- God doesn't need us to defend Him. He wants us to represent Him.
- We have a real enemy, but it's not each other.
