Jamie Noodles McClellan is going on today how we feeling this afternoon I have to say in certain situations when you are so knowledgeable. You start thinking outside the box and it can be costly because you just say this could happen or that can happen. And I think it's plagued my party in the past but I'll tell you what last night he thought right down the line and he called that one. Very odd beginning very strange beginning of the game with San Donald going out. I'm going to say saw the injury out of no exactly true lock was going to win all game you and the other you and the other moves are texting us saying it's just rigged.

1:05Nothing in pro sports is rigged. Well it sounds like they dodged a significant bullet which is great for San Donald right because I thought him limping off that could be the end of its for Seattle. Was it like a hit pointer or something like just yeah sounds like a hit issue and but McDonald after the game was was pretty happy and now that they started on a Wednesday he's not likely to play next week but the plane Arizona drew lock and can win that game. Then they're at Washington after that I'm not sure you're rushing back at that point because I think you can win that game without true without San Donald. And then they play the chargers on October 4th that's when you bring them back so basically you say listen take a month yeah you're probably still going to be 3 and 0 because the Patriots completely choke last night like there's no other way to describe that Seattle was begging them to win with the penalties that Donald injury. Well to be about simplify it like the starting quarterback who is the key to their offense basically they got some stars but he's the facilitator and he's out of the game it kind of means you should take over the game and someone made a victory win last night.

2:20Drake may throwing three picks in the fourth quarter that's insanity. They were brutal picks. They were not even Collins worth was beside himself on the glasses like I can't believe he threw that ball there. You are a field goal territory. Why are you throwing it into quadruple coverage and all time bad throw noodles. No other way to describe it and all time horrendous throw week. You know you're not because Collins worth being beside himself like when you're doing color and you see something ridiculous and you're still trying to like keep it together and like deliver a decent product like I even think Toreco was beside himself I thought that was more significant because Toreco is supposed to be right down the middle. Yeah like he's like brutal decision like he starts yelling about Drake again. He's like he's awful. That was it like we got to get that call and play it because that's the one noodles that surprised me or Collins worth you know is going to let it breathe.

3:23Yeah and then he's going to torture because you got to you have to it's just it's I'm not overstating it. It's an all time horrendous throw and decision by Drake. It's you can't throw that ball let alone if you're going to throw it you can't throw it where he threw you under threw it by five or 10 feet. It was terribly throw ball. But you gotta get 20. If you got to get 20 yards and that guy is at the marker. I get it but it just didn't need to go down throw it away. Take the sack or throw it away. Yeah. Yeah. That's simple. You can't throw that ball. Get the Toreco call. That was a weird game though. Like I agree. I thought New England was in pretty good shape there and then it just goes south. Yeah. Look at this. Yeah. That's a that's a crushing one because you're up you're up by 10. The amount of penalties and how sloppy Seattle was in the first half was really really staggering. Even at the end of the game when Drew Lock took the delay a game penalty a second and one from like the four yard line.

4:26That was horrendous also by Drew. He's reading a book. He's going through his arm stuff. I'm yelling at the screen. I'm like you got to snap the ball or take a time out. What are you doing? Don't you find the first week of the NFL season because during the season. Yeah. Those guys never put they're hardly on the field man. Right. You're talking about number one units. They go out there for a couple plays a game. That's it. They don't want anybody getting hurt and they don't play. Well, I want to ask Luke about this too. There was a guy out there last night and I know it's going to speak to my ignorance. But he had a helmet on that there was the size of Romeo dobs. Yeah. It hated that. I know. But I mean it just that drop dude. I know. That might have been the play of the game noodles. If he makes that catch, it's a completely different ball. But all I'm thinking about this guy's got the giant helmet on and he's terrified of getting hit. So he just drops it and you're like, okay, I get it. He's got the concussion helmet on. Probably shouldn't be playing like if you're afraid to get hit like that. Like I don't know.

5:29He's one of the very very few players in the league that wear it. They all wear it in practice for the most part. I know I see it in practice and I understand it. It's wrong. No dobs. He's been wearing it. He's been a trailblazer man. He was like the first guy to wear a helmet in the NHL back in the day. I actually, I'm not going to go old school and say this guy is a woozy. I give him props. No, like if he thinks, say if I'm still going to get hit hard, but if in some way this can help me, I can't be stuck with that. It might be the future. It might be the future where they like a technology is going to keep growing. Yeah, some type of modified version of what he's wearing. Well, technology and stuff. It's the exact. Rick will be is going to take care of it. No, I all I could think about though. And this is more of a technical question that we got asked Luke, like how heavy are those helmets? Like are they, you know, significantly more? Like a good question because he was looking backwards and he was struggling. Like that thing looks like it weighs 68 pounds. Terrible. Terrible.

6:29Yeah, I don't know what the cartoon was, but there was a car. He was the guy who he was the packers who he he he he fumbled the kickoff against the bears last year. I was here. Remember that play at the end of the season when he basically muffed the kick and there was the same kind of thing was coming out of slow. And you could see he had an eye up. I'm going to hammer here and let the ball go and he got kind of run out of green Bay. I said he has to have not been a fan of his and that drop last night was huge. But it it was just a really it wasn't a great game to your point. It was a sloppy game, but it's typical NFL that even though it was sloppy, even though you got a backup quarterback there in the end. The fourth quarter was electric because they were turnovers and feel goals. And it came down to basically a final play that we have the call here. So I heard I listen to Toreco because this is very rare for a play by play guy to kind of step out of his his comfort zone in terms of just writing it right down the middle.

7:38Here's Toreco on the final interception made through last night. Here is made quick look was closed. Jump. Yes. A terrible decision. A terrible decision. And he emphasizes it too. Like it's hard to change your voice like literally a terrible decision. And he's right though. There's no other way to call that. It's just when you're watching it, you must be you can't believe your eyes. Like what is that guy doing? Yeah, honestly, it was just it was a really poor performance. And you get frable and there's just some about frable running around. I'm like, this guy, it's just the shines kind of off him a little bit. And that was a tough loss for them last night. And if you're a bills fan, it's great. You know, like the bills have a really tough start, but you feel like you're going to compete against New England. And it's over reaction Thursday. Yes.

8:38But now Drake Mays got to prove didn't look great in the playoffs, didn't look great in a Super Bowl at all, didn't look great last night. Who are you against? Good competition. Are you capable of making good decisions in terms of your arm? We know you can run the ball. Can you throw the ball appropriately? Those are all the questions going to be hanging around them. AJ Brown with a high ankle sprain. That might knock him out for a while. Concerned. That's not very concerning injury. And we talked we touched on frable a little bit. I don't know what that's going to turn into, but that's a heavy energy around. That's just everywhere he goes, every room he walks into. It's a weird vibe for everybody involved with that guy. How long do you think it's going to take for that to go away? I don't think it goes away this year. Yeah, I don't know. There's always, I always say that New Cycles three days. I know, but every time they show him on the screen, do you guys not go? That's the guy that had the affair with the job. I know, but you like it's hard to.

9:38Yeah, it's hard to not. Yeah, I can't look past it. I know. Trying to pump up Drake, man, at the end of the game, I'm like, I don't think you'd be happy if the Rucini stuff wasn't out there. So now we're. Like it was intense and he was like gritty on the beach and all I could think of him was like. The Titanic on top of the hotel with Lucini. There's a picture. Yeah, there's a rose. You're right. I can fly. Remember, is it urban? Meyer, the pictures in the bar. Yeah, urban and urban never got over that. He was a terrible coach in the NFL. Right. He had more disasters than that one, but that was. You're right. That guy. Kirby was playing the piano and his little sports, Pob and Ohio. Yeah, when the team was back at Jacksonville, that was the most amateur thing about that is like, I got to stay back and to what go to your bar.

10:39Yeah, that was the end of the road for urban Meyer. And I'm not suggesting that'll happen with, you know, with Ravel and they're all adults. It just, you know, we talked about it. They kind of needed a win and they had a layup last night. They missed it. Yeah. They missed the layup last night. And if you're Seattle, you found a way to win. Your defense showed up. Darnell's going to be okay in the end. You got to be really happy. And now you're watching the game tonight in Australia. Yeah. And, you know, we think people in Vancouver get pissed when the Leafs play. They're on a Saturday and they got to play it for a local time. Yeah. The game in Australia is at 10.35 a.m. They're playing football at 10.30 in the morning. Like, I get it because it's prime time back here. But this is where I understand it. But it's also proof of how the NFL is, is, is never going to get that comfortable outside of the United States. And outside of North America for that matter. Because you can have a game, but you got to play at 10.30 in the morning.

11:41You know what I mean? Like, if you really want to, that's the question that it needs to be. And maybe if we get an opportunity in the future to talk to Roderick Adele, who knows? Maybe we can. The question would be, flying those teams 16 and 20 hour flights away, all the travel, all that goes into it, to play at 10.30 in the morning, is it worth it? Like, is it worth it? Like, is it worth it for the brand? I mean, it must be. It must be old. It just seems like a lot. But if you're the team, like, I talked about yesterday, the NHL teams in the middle of an 84 game season, they got to go over to Finland and play two games. I'd be like, really? We got to do that. I think one of the teams, I can't remember which one. They didn't really recover from it. They got back and they just started getting pumped and it was a downward spiral. Sure is he or something like that. Like, it might have been. Sure. Like, why? Like, somebody sent out a tweet saying that Bradford and the coach, they got off the bird and they didn't look happy.

12:45I'm like, it's a 16 hour flight. Exactly. What do you think people are? What do you think that they're just going to have a rent on their face and all jacked up, but 10.30 a.m. But I don't know, man. You got to just roll at old school and say, we got to play. We got to play. That's what the Rams are doing. The report came out today that they have been sending people over there for two years to try to get, which what a gig that is. You're our Australian Sherpa to determine what is the best way. You're telling me that somebody would get on a bird to go over there to see how they felt. Yes. To map out the best plan for arrival and performance. What did they tell the person to do when they go? Is this like Al's brothers? Like go get drunk. Yeah, go get drunk and then see how you feel. That would be great if it was. Yeah. Hey, Al's brother was saying you'd just get a basket of wings and a 10 beers and see how you feel and come back on overdrive. Be in Scarborough the next day.

13:46Right. That would be actually hysterical if that was the plan that some guy won the contest. So what did this person do over there? Well, I guess they what they did was they sent different people over at different times with different amount of build up towards the game. So in other words, they'd send one guy a week before and see how his body would react. And I'm sure they put him through workouts and sleeping and they'd send another guy the way they're doing it now. So the Rams, they flew in basically two days before the game. They slept on the plane. They got there. They base. I think they slept kind of throughout the afternoon and early morning and now they're up and they're pretending their body clock is not 10 35 local. Their body clock is eight is like 5 30 Pacific time. So they are playing this game in terms of their body clock as if they're playing it so far. Prime time. Like that's how they've tried to map it out. So they sent people ahead years in advance.

14:47I just can't get it out of my head. A boardroom with McVeigh and the analytics people in LA and Al's brother wheeling in to tell them how it was. And how he felt. Can you imagine a 16 hour flight is aggressive as it is. But there is some big linemen and some groceries going. Can you imagine the Johns on those planes that Pacific Ocean got hit hard on an injection button. There is whales dying at it. Oh, it's gonna be 4,000 ad whales. Yeah, there's going to be some real problems. There's a sort of like, hey, there's an off the coast. There is a problem with some wildlife. Yes, there are going to be things like on the shores of Hawaii in the next 10 days.

15:50That's like that is courtesy. People are going to have green horns growing out of their head. But I guess the plane they took. Like some massive airbus. One of the most expensive. I got the most pimped out. But here was a caveat, which I never got an answer on. And I almost feel like I'm being duped here. I should put my hand up and say there's a chance this is fake news. But for some reason, Wi-Fi is not on the plane. No way, dude. I don't buy it. You're going to put a coaching staff and a bunch of NFL player. What did they do? Well, it was sleeping. That's what I read was that it's such a big plane that they had beds for everyone. Like all the players and staff for the most part were basically had their own pods and they were decked out. But I read and again, I'm sure I'm being duped. Dude, you look up, look this up. But for some reason, that specific type of plane, there's no Wi-Fi.

16:53It's like you're on an air Canada Rouge or something. You can't get Wi-Fi, which those guys would freak out in 2026. That would be a players association complaint. Probably. Sure. And even like you could probably, some guys have Starlink. You should be able to hook up to Starlink from there. But it's just, if you don't have it in the plane. I'm reading it right now, noodles. Let me read it right now. I'm sure it's not fake news. Apparently, it's not fake news. So the Rams took a Quantus Airbus A380. This is the largest and most expensive commercial passenger airline ever built. And there are enough live flat seats for every player in some coaches. But those airplanes don't have Wi-Fi. Like, again, I don't understand how that's possible, but that's the claim. There's no Wi-Fi. If you're flying over the ocean and stuff, you're not, you know, there's no hotspot that you're picking up or anything. Like you're just, you're literally pulling a David Putty 16 hours straight to Australia.

17:53You're raw dog in the whole game there just staring at the back of the seat in front of you. I mean, it's kind of crazy. You better have some movies downloaded. I mean, you're, I'm assuming guys would sleep or take sleepers and, you know, body clock. Now is their plan, noodles, was to sleep. Yeah, did they take, did they leave it like nine o'clock at night type of thing? Can't remember what they were. Yeah, I guess they mapped it out. I was brother one out in front and something back details. That's when I fly to Europe, you know, every summer, we fly to Italy and, and we take the, the overnight flight. Yeah, a couple sleepers who wake up and wherever, normal on whatever. Yeah, like, but it's nine hour flight. That's double. Well, it, but you talk about sweating. If that's your plan and you can't fall asleep, it's trouble, right? Like, you know, there's people that do not, I'm one of them. You can't, I can't sleep on an airplane. It's just, yeah, it's just. So that's what's happening. Like, if you're a plane, yeah, he's like, I can't sleep on planes. So what do you do?

18:53You know, if the whole plan, the whole reason you're coming in two days early is so that you'll sleep on the plane. If you can't sleep, you're in big, big trouble. Yeah, trouble. That's crazy. Anyway, Jay's off today back in action with Baltimore and Tatchemore. Surezer versus Bassett tomorrow. And listen, they, they're, they're still in it. They're still time. Like, that was, that was a really tough one yesterday. We were on the air and I was kind of hawk eyeing it in the studio. Yeah. And Oakland's pitching staff is pretty terrible. That is the definition of a hitters park and you get skunked in a, what, the biggest game of the year, every game's the biggest game of the year. It was just a pathetic offensive performance yesterday. They're lucky that Cleveland lost. Yes, they are. Yes, they are. But that, on the flip side of that noodles is you take advantage of that. Now all of a sudden you're tied. But they still have a lot of games left and they, they are still in this thing. So we'll catch up with Keegan Matheson. Get Keegan's taken. What happened yesterday? What we can expect that a Baltimore on the rest of the way set the scene moving forward.

19:55There's some boba shit reports out there. Depp pass and wondering if maybe he opts out of his contract in New York. Dude, why would he opt out of his contract when he's owed 84 million dollars? No. Who does that? It would be the worst advice an agent could give. He has been no agent. And no agent. Trust me, no agent would, the year he's had for him to opt out of that. And I think the language was like, so he could kind of prop himself up on a class that's not that great last summer because he failed to do that in the last free agency. Not a chance in hell. People would avoid him like the plague this off season. There's no way he is opting out. It's time for half of that. You've signed for half of that. No kidding. That would be the dumbest move. The Mets would be begging for that. I think that's, I wonder if it's come from the Mets, you know, basically we're praying this guy opts out because he... No way does that. I don't see how you can. I agree with you. The guy's owed, he's owed 86 million dollars still. Yes. Like 43 million next year. He's been terrible this year.

20:55I'd be shocked if he did. The only reason he would is if he hates being in New York. Dude, 84 million. I can give you 84 million reasons why you could not hate him. I get it. And that is exactly what my agent would say to me. You were terrible this year and you owed 84 million dollars. You want to walk away from that. No one in the right mind would do that. No one. They're not even, they're not officially, you know, a lock to win the A.O. West. Texas is right behind them. Same thing with Chicago in the central. Cleveland's only two games back. So I think if you avoid Tampa. Boston, New York, which the J.S. was. I said, it was chances with either of those two teams. Totally. Totally. Like the, the rays are going to get, you know, a buy. And the Yankees are going to play the red socks. You're talking about Chicago or Houston. Like, yeah. J.S. can win that shirt. You say that J.S. with all the teams that are battling for that one spot. Like they potentially, and it's getting to a point where I'm almost sick and tired of talking about it. And we're running out of time talking about it. But they have the ace in the hole. I don't think another team has. And it's flattie. Like, can this guy snap out of it? Because, like, does anyone else have an X-ray?

23:57And they also have an X-factor like that where they have a, like, a high paid, like, lethal guy at the bat supposedly. That's just been sleeping all year that can wake up and save the day. I'm not sure. Well, not to this extreme. Like, he was literally been sleepwalking through the season, you know. Houston's going to have the MVP this year. But he's been, you win the MVP. You're going to be great all season long. Judges back for New York. You can look at Judges. That's an interesting one. He's been out for months. You know, is there enough runway for him to feel good about his game? Come to play off. I'm not sure. I mean, it's been unreal without him. They've been very good without him. You know, they're really, they have a plus 124 run differential and balinger was out for a long time too. That's right. You know, stand is always banged up. 24:57I've been dying at the idea of the LA Rams Australian Sherpa. What a dream job, boys. Great gig. You know what I'm worried about guys is the tight flight. Like noodles you were talking about taking the sleepers for the overnight flight. I'm picturing one of these like offensive linemen who took too large of a gummy for the overnight flight to help them sleep. And we're just going to see them getting blown past in the first quarter today. They're going to be moving in slow motion. Out there. We'll see. Big time. Well, no Zazis, man. You like football players as we know are a different beast. Like they, I know rugby is big over there and all that. I don't know if you see too many guys who were like 68320 walking down the streets of Melbourne. You know, that airport, they better be prepared with those birds land. But yeah, it's going to be fun to watch tonight. Football is back. I know you're a big fan of it. And you've been wondering like what's going to happen here in October. You've watching football, you're covering baseball. And like yesterday, that one hurt.

25:58You know, Oakland is not a good team. Their pitching staff is not a quality staff. It's a hitters park and they get skunked yesterday. We were on the air. How bad was it through the eyes of Keegan Mappison? That's terrible. It's a bad team without their good players. There's levels to this, man. It's a poorly timed performance against really bad pitching. And I'm way past caring, guys, that, you know, everyone else lost too. It's the bar needs to be raised. This has been just a season of, I think, a lot of people moving the goalposts covering this team, which I can't stand. Like this was supposed to be a world series team. Let's not forget that. Like they came into this season as a world series contender. Because they went one out away from the world series. And they had to find off season. And they were like, I'm going to get a little bit of a new team. And they had to find off season. Like this was not supposed to be hovering around 500 and this repetitive annoying brand of baseball. And to drop one like that against the A's, man, like coming up when you look at the schedule, what is it, Orioles Tigers, Rangers, Orioles Reds.

27:06They look winnable, but I struggle to believe that stuff anymore at this point of the season because the blue J's lineup can disappear against just about anybody. Kagan, if we were going to ask you the two questions, like, is the answer basically Vladie for both? Like, for the J's to get in, you know, what has to happen? Is it like, Vladie good? And is it, they're not going to get in if Vladie continues on the way he's been going? Like, is he basically the X factor here? Or I know the injuries to the pitching staff are key. But like, how do you handicap this guy somehow heating up with 15 or 17 games left? It's all about him, Odog. Like I agree with what you said coming in. No other team has a sleeping giant like Vladie. Like other teams have struggling players that got injuries. Every team's got their stuff going on. Nobody has a $500 million guy who just looked like the best hitter on the planet in the World Series, putting up a six something OPS with eight home runs.

28:11And every time guys, it's tempting to believe, isn't it? Even that home run in Cleveland. I mean, he stops. He pimps the home run. He jogs around the bases. People are chanting Vladie, Vladie, Vladie. It looks like it's there. And it's just not over and over again. It's just not there. And no matter how much I want to believe in these moments, you keep getting proven wrong. And that's so hard because I know that baseball player is still in there. That's not the conversation. I think some people are disingenuous when they talk about Vladie. Like it's it's disappeared. He took the money and rent. No. He's just having a god awful year, like historically awful year in this market. But when you see these moments, it's so tempting to believe, man, here he comes. Final 10 games of the year. He's going to hit 500 and drag this team to the postseason. But I really do think it comes down to him. Oh, it's just no one with more power on this team to change their trajectory. And it's going to come down to one game somehow or another. It'll come down to one game.

29:12And if Vladie can hit three home runs down the stretch instead of one, you probably win that one game. And it's so easily done. He's their shortcut. That's the way I keep branding Vladie. He's the shortcut to the postseason. If he decides he wants to go there, they go there. So again, we've talked about kind of the negative. There's been some great story lines this year on some individual play. I mean, you know, notwithstanding ceases last start was not great, but he's had an unbelievable season. Okamoto, you know, Bateman looks like he's a player like you look at all of this type of stuff. Is there been some some positives that you've been able to focus on in this kind of like up and down season? That's what blows me away noodles is their off season was dynamite, man. Like adding Dylan Seas, who if you did that deal again, you'd pay him more. My God, Kaz Okamoto for four years and 60 Tyler Rogers, like I have not talked about Tyler Rogers all year, which is good.

30:13Like his job, it's like a punter. If you're talking about him, something's gone wrong. I'm not talking about Tyler Rogers. He's been great and Spencer Miles, like that's like winning the lottery in the rule five. They nailed all these off season additions who've been great. Bread Bateman, I didn't see that coming. You don't want to lose those in the fire of this season. You know, Dylan Seas is going to be first or second for the Sai Young Award. But you look back through Jay's history going back to Doc Haliday, Roger Clemens twice, Pat Hankin, Robbie Ray. All of them one Sai Young's, I believe in years where the Jay's didn't make the playoffs. And you cannot bet on this happening again because we'll get into next year. And guys will be sitting here in March or April saying, yeah, Vlad, you might bounce back. But what if Dylan Seas looks a little more human next year? These things don't last. They don't stick around to you. You got to capitalize on them. But that's what blows my mind, guys, because if you told me this April, hey, all of these signings are going to work out this way. I would say cool. I'm covering the World Series again. And they're below 500 blows me away.

31:15As for Okamoto, he hits, you know, 30 homeruns is a rookie bit deceiving because he's not 20 years old. He's a veteran guy that played professionally in Japan for a long time. He's got a lot of strikeouts. 171 strikeouts. He's for the fans. He does. But I know we're in the modern era. And you see some extremes like this. But how do you balance the good with the bad when it comes to Okamoto? You might take guys as whatever. Honestly, I think the blue jays need more of this. It's actually their club record. Like he's already set their club record for strikeouts. And it is September 10th. Now it's a low club record. Most organizations have a guy who's done 200 plus. But that's used to in matchup. Yeah, he did. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Not the way you want to pass Boutista, I don't think. But listen, I think the jays would take more of this. I'm tired of watching a team try to hit four singles to score a run.

32:16It's okay if you have some big swings and misses and some ugly at bats along the way. Now you don't want to strike out 250 times and you need the power. But if you could go up and down this lineup, guys, I'm thinking Vladie, George Springer, Kirk, maybe a few of the guys who have a bit of pop. If you could trade 10 or 20 strikeouts to add on two or three or four all runs in the right spots, you're doing it a lot. And if everyone else in this lineup was striking out, yeah, maybe Alka Modus is a bit of a problem. But I think that his approach is what this team needs. It's chaotic. There's big outcomes. There's going to be ugly days. Sure. But he's also going to change some games. I think he's been a hell of a signing. I'm really next year you don't set the record again. You don't want to get in that business. But I look at that and I don't care as much as I thought I would. Really, the power is there. They need more power. They can eat a few strikeouts along the way. So we got Baltimore Town tomorrow.

33:16Shurser Bassett at the Ryder Center tomorrow. How do you, how do you tee that game up with those two on the mound? What a light and fluffy game that is guys. The two most stubborn men in Major League Baseball out there. Like Max will be out there just yelling into his glove. Bass will be out there like rolling his neck around. You don't know if he just got shot or not. It's going to be great. It will be a very cinematic baseball game. Bassett's not been good this year. He dealt with some back stuff. He's trying to come back. His year has not gone well. Max Shurser is coming off of a bit of a rough one in KC. This is not a big title card boat. But nothing in the a-l is right now. This is a wide open opportunity for the J's. And the Orioles are sneaky guys. Not because they're good. They're not. None of these teams are good. Let's be very honest. None of them are good right now. But the Orioles have six games left against the J's. If they take four of those six, five of those six, that flips this whole race very quickly.

34:17Otherwise, you're seeing teams that are just stuck in the mud. They're kind of one game up, one down, one up, one down. Having six games left against the Orioles, yeah, you can just put them in a coffin over a couple days easily. But if the O's get hot, then we've seen stranger stuff, they could actually make this way more interesting than people realize. I think just by having six left and the J's need Max Shurser to pull a couple more of these out of himself, man, because pushing Dylan Seas and Jose Soriano, I like the aggression, but I think we're seeing that you've got to pay the tab eventually. Yeah, with Seas, I think in particular, Soriano was really good the other night. But we mentioned priority having you on. We were talking about who they could face if you get in. The Yankees are going to play the Red Sox. Either Chicago or Houston, as it currently stands. There's a world where you could play Cleveland, because Cleveland could still win the Central. You could play Texas because they could still win the West.

35:19Let's pretend they get in here. They go 10 and 5 down the stretch. They get in. They play one of those two teams, Chicago or Houston, in their parks on the road, best two out of three. How would you feel about those matchups, considering what you know about those two teams? I'd rather go to Chicago for my own reasons. But if we have to end up in Houston, I think the Houston might be the tougher matchup for the J's. Just because I look guys, all of these teams are separated by two or three or four games. Over 162, that doesn't really mean anything to me. They're the same caliber of teams. So you need to look at their top end. I think the blue jays have a clear advantage in pitching if Dylan sees his hot and he's going. They're going to have the advantage over anybody in game one. Soriano probably gives them an advantage too. They're in a really good spot with that, especially against the White Sox, I think, especially the White Sox. But Houston has Jordyn Alvarez, who is one of my favorite players in baseball to watch. He's an unreal player, having an unreal season.

36:20He can just screw up your season. Because we learned guys back three, four years ago and the J's were going to the wild card round. It's not really about who's the best team over a big series. It's two out of three. Like somebody's going to have a guy who launches on you or has a crappy day at work, and that's the season. And I think the actors have a couple more of those players who can just wreck your whole year in one go. The White Sox are fun as hell. They're young. They are on the come up. And they're going to be good for a long time. But I think you got to really like your chances in a pitching matchup. So if you're a blue jays fan or have any interest in my happiness, I think that Chicago is a better destination on the morning of September 21. I wouldn't disagree with that one. Look at that. That's a horrible putt. Where's his hat too? Sergio's a hat guy. Like that. Maybe that's what's. I think him and I think he plays on the DP Tour. He just goes with no bucket.

39:25But I watched that and I'm like that's frightening to think that. A guy that won the master's misses a one foot putt. And that's why you and all your greasy golf partners, you putt out everything. No, you got to make putts, man. You know what you got to roll the rock, man. You got to get those putts. You got to defend yourself. James Dutty is quite upset at you. Yes. He thought you slandered him the other day. I didn't. That's what he was in the C flight at his club championship. I mean, that you care. Well, you've seen Dutty golf. Do you think he would be in the A flight? Yeah. I think he's a seven index, eight index. Like a C flights, like a 15 index dude. Those are those are guys blowing 105s and 110s. Yes. And that's where he was. I don't think that's where he plays. That is one thing at that. I've made some stuff up about him or it's fabricated. That was not word by word.

40:27He blew the C flight championship with his motor caddy. It makes it worse like it does because the guy you probably lost to, who knows what he was up to out there. You know, you get a variety of characters in a C flight. I could tell you. Because that's basically stuff and everyone in by the end. You know, they don't go D flight. It's the C flight. You're playing. Yeah, exactly. If you don't qualify for a higher flight, like you could legit have a 50 handicap in the C flight. They let the bartender from the club play in the C flight. Just click. Go ahead. Yeah, you're in. So that's disappointing that Dutty would would be in a situation like that. But next time he comes on, he can clarify all that. Yeah. So a couple of things that I want to get into in the next little bit here. Right. You guys were off in the summer and I touched on it a couple of different times. The way the Edmonton Oilers and Leon drives subtle in particular, are talking about Mike Babcock to me.

41:29Bizarre. It's bizarre. Like there was a clip today about him saying like he's a man, were men. What was Chris Nobleck doing that would necessitate this type of a rig? Like a rebound. And let's not forget the man took them to two finals. Right. Okay, I got the clip. Let's play it because I want you guys to I was I was talking about a week ago. I'm like, what the hell is going on in Edmonton? Where dry settle and make David keep talking about Babcock is if like. It's not even about that. Yeah, he's an adult. Like we're men and we want to be ripped into him. Like what the hell was going on there? This is dry settle after a captain skate Edmonton on Babcock and his. You know, initial reactions. It's been great so far. He's been awesome with us. He's been communicating really well. And yeah, I'm excited to learn from him. I think we're all extremely excited to be around him and get to work. He's just so clear. You know, he knows what this team needs and he doesn't shy away from telling you straight to your face.

42:37He's a real man about it. And you know, we're all men in here and we all want to win. We're all here for the same reason. And yeah, I think he's going to be great for us. It's just an indictment on yourself almost where it's like. I just I could have done whatever I wanted and people were afraid to not. I don't know. It's like they've been brainwashed or something. That's Babcock speak though. Is it not? Have we not heard that language in Toronto? It's like we got men, you know, we got guys who can eat to feed their family all of that. Like, remember those comments? Yeah. That was Toronto, right? For years, but he had a very young immature team technically. You know, Mitch and those guys just coming out of junior. So you could understand those comments. I think those comments are this has been a country club. And this guy's telling us exactly, you know, either whether we want to hear it or not. It's all great now. I say, what is it? September 10th. Let's see what it's like November 23rd when dry settle takes a 95 second shift and walks back to the bench.

43:44You know, we've seen that in his body language sometimes. And Mike decides that he's going to give him a jolt. Like, I that's the type of stuff. We'll see. Yeah. All of the reports about Mike Babcock. It was never Datsuke or Zetterberg. No. Or Austin or Mitch. It was everybody else that got the jules. Yeah. It was so what the hell is he going to say? Yeah, you're right. What the hell is he going to say to Leon dry, siler, Conor McDavid. So they can sit there. It's almost like they know that this guy's not going to say squat to them anyway. But the thing is, oh, like at some point, regardless if you're a great player or not, you do need to hear the truth. And maybe that's where he's saying, you know, knob lock was a very, we all saw very. Jamie, I totally get it, but you can't have it both ways. You can't say, I'm this player and I'm not player and I get the money and I do what I want and leave me alone. And then all of a sudden wake up on summer and say, we need some guys to, you know, tell the best players of what the hell is going on here.

44:46I don't get the sense that they think they're above it. I get the sense that they need to be kept in check. Like just like anybody else. And I think the honesty has to come from whoever, whether it was Mike Babcock or somebody else. But those guys, it's easy to talk the talk. That's what I keep saying. Talk the talk. There's all these buzzwords and every, we need this accountability. Do it. Don't talk the talk because we've seen all the lip service from everybody. And dry subtle is given lip service now. I think he's genuine in it, but it doesn't matter. It's, are you going to do it? That's the difference from me. Is this guy going to play a structured game? It seems to all be a moot point because when you think about the Edmonton Oilers, Leon Dryscytl and Conor McDavid, 95% of the time, possibly hired. They're the best players on the ice. Like they're always doing everything they can do to win a game. They've got the puck all the time.

45:46They're always providing offense. They can't help the poor goal tending or poor defensive structure or lack of depth or lack of depth. That's not a Leon or Conor problem. But there is or you're right, though, but there is some stuff where if you look at it from an, again, I know you're going to hate this from an analytic standpoint, they were getting beat in their own zone. Don't make David dryscytl. Those guys like you're right. The lack of structure has been there for a long time and it wasn't just, it's not just Trent Frederick or Garnel nurse or the people that they were the, it's Evan Bousshard. It's Conor McDavid. It's Leon Dryscytl. It's Ryan Nugin Hopkins. Those guys have not had the structure and and and be fascinating to see if they play with it or not. I don't know if they they can or they're great. As much as I love those two players and I love our and H and I love Zach Hyman too. I don't really like I don't like we talked about Toronto kind of resurfacing and being in cup contention, which I don't think they will be.

46:51I think they should be trying to challenge for a plow spot. I don't think that team in Edmonton is a cup contender with what they've got around those guys. I really don't I don't see them bouncing back and being a cup contender just because they what got Frederick Anderson and they moved out. Darnel nurse. Darnel nurse. That makes Evan to a cup contender after what they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt after what they did last year. They got to earn it, but they got to play a lot better. That's the thing. You know, you miss Hyman for two months. Like it's proof is in the pudding. That's what's coming back to him. Let's talk about it in the next hour. All lip service. Right. Everyone's great. Everyone looks amazing. Everyone's the best ever. I'm not a bad person, but if I'm Chris nobler, my lawyers are sending a cease into cistern at some point. Like you got to stop blocking as if this guy was bringing. You know, rotlers into the room and like trying to put like what was this guy doing? Like two finals in a row. Yeah, he's a man. We're men now. Like not what was no block doing. I'd love to know our two coming up.
