1:09What is going on everyone welcome back to another episode of the Draft Capital podcast. He's Steve Latisea. I'm TJ Wingard and today we are jumping right back into the mock draft madness. We're right on the precipice of week one of the NFL season. As of recording we're getting set for our Thursday night game on Netflix. We just had our Wednesday game. So Steve, we've officially made it to the NFL season, which really is going to set up our future mocks for a lot of fun possibilities because we'll have a better idea of like, hey, this team's linebacking course really weak or this team needs receiver now that I've seen it actually as opposed to what I think it is on paper. So kind of getting a little bit of early tape, but really moving forward. We're going to start having a lot of really informed analysis about team needs, at least a little bit more of analysis around team needs. Long time to decide, Steve, how you doing? How are you doing, man? I'm ready to jump into this mock draft with you. Absolutely. Yeah. I'm excited as well. Like you said, we're going to get more information on NFL teams. We're getting more information on college players as we go. So these are only going to become more better and better each one we do, but I'm excited to do another one and see kind of how it differs. I think there might be some guys who maybe sneak into the first round. We weren't

2:09really considering the last couple of times or maybe there's a quarterback who we didn't draft at the top 10. Who we might want to draft at the top 10 now. So I'm excited to get into it. No, I pumped up and that's kind of the beauty of what we're doing with this being week by week. We're kind of charting the progress of the course of the season. So last time out, you had odds, I had events. We're going to flip back. I will have odds. Kick us off. I'll save us a lot of time here. Jump right into it. Archmaning, number one overall pick looks good. Look to the part against Texas State. We're often run in, but really the test comes this week with Texas a lot of stake. But Archman needs me the number one pick here yet again. Yeah. Yeah. And this one's interesting. The Texas Ohio State game because I mean last year everyone saw week one Archmaning did not play well against Ohio State. So now he gets this little redemption arc here. So hopefully it's a little bit better. I imagine it's going to be just because he has you know better weapons and better off spines and at home, right? Pretty sure. I don't know the answer to that, but yeah, that sounds right. Because I think it was that it was that OSU last year. Yeah. This year it's that Texas. So being an Austin should help. Yep. All right. So then the dolphins around the clock.

3:11We've gone back and forth on them picking a quarterback or picking Jeremiah Smith. I still think it's kind of just a toss up. But I think I'm going to go with Dante Moore here. I think they are eventually going to go a quarterback, especially if the dolphins are trapped in second overall. Given the quarterback, they have some intriguing day two wider series that they drafted. Get a good young guy in the board in the door. You could still have Malik Willis next year. You don't have to really give up on him, but then you have kind of that bridge to Dante Moore for a year. So I like that. Yeah. I mean, I don't know if you got around to watching the Oregon ult 22 or anything, but Dante Moore was good. Like that game was unnecessarily close, but a lot of that I put on the Oregon defense. I thought Dante Moore was pretty good. And honestly, I feel like his drive throws. There was a little bit more zip on the ball than there was last year. So that makes me kind of encouraged. I've always kind of had the CJ Stroud comp. I was listening to Daniel Jeremiah on move the sticks. He floated that exact exact same comp. So it's good to see there's some consensus around that. But I think that's even more live considering how the ball was coming out of his hand on Saturday. And who's the office coordinator for the Miami Dolphins

4:13right now? No other than Bobby slow it. The office coordinator for your syntax and during Strauss for a few years. So I feel like I can see that guy being like that's a play style I can work with. And also I will say like, the conflict I want to see to stride. We'll see how this year goes. That might not be such a good thing. And a lot of fan bases mine here in a few months. But okay, then that makes it tough here for the jets because Dante Moore is the dream scenario. Right. Let's shake it up. Let's go Leonard Moore here at number three. Honestly, Leonard Moore is the Jeremiah Smith of the defensive side of the ball. And they could go Jeremiah here. And I wouldn't hate it whatsoever. But we've had two months thus far where Jeremiah goes top three. Let's explore a possibility where he slips just a little bit more. And I don't think it's super likely. But is there a world where the jets say, hey, we got two first round receivers, two top 50 tight ends. We need a quarterback. But the top two guys are off the board. We can do the quarterback for the future because it's already Thomas question marks there and Sean writes a one year contract, Brandon Stevens. I think that's a contract you'd like to get rid of. Yeah, it probably be Jeremiah Smith. But just for a little bit of a gamesmanship, explore a little bit of

5:14a different possibility for a team with three first round picks might I add. What happens if we go Leonard Moore here at three? So let's explore that. I love it. I mean, Leonard Moore is in a vacuum myself is absolutely worth the third pick in the draft. So I like that pick. We mentioned they have two other first round picks. This is a deeper receiver class than it is cornerback class. The wider receiver you get at 1315 water pick they have is better than the corner you're going to get. So I like that thought process. All right, Clue and Browns. So this is, I mean, again, another team that just desperately needs a quarterback. I didn't expect Jeremiah Smith to be on the board. Yeah, right. Right. Right. That's kind of, and that's part of why also I did what I did because sometimes she just, I don't even giant ever plan on Orville reeks being there at five. But then sometimes for lack of a bit of phrase, it should happens. And you're like, oh, I know we had a plan, but we had the plan here. And that, yeah, I think that's kind of what you got to do here. Yeah. Well, I don't know. So they got Denzel Boston and cases conception with their top two, or with two of their picks last year. Yeah. Are they going to draft a third, but not a third

6:15rider receiver, obviously, he'd be your third number one. But that's a lot of investment in the wider receiver position. And they desperately need a quarterback. And we have given a quarterback in our first two marks. I think I'm going to actually pass on Jeremiah Smith here and give him Darren Mensa. Okay. I think he, look, he had a great week one. We talked about it on the podcast. It was Stanford. There's still a lot of question marks. But that was a high profile game that everyone saw and a national narrative like that can start to build. And you know, he looked better than he did last year, especially in a pressure and there is a scenario where he has a figure. And he gets it in the top five. And yes, they would love that Jeremiah Smith is a hell of a talent. And it's crazy that he's available of five, but they need a quarterback and it's going to be hard to pass up on. But if you're not taking Jeremiah Smith, why is that not a Dairy Mentor? So I'm probably getting yelled at by a bunch of jets fans with that same logic that you're

8:18kind of spouting at me. That being said, we get to the Raiders here at five and not what way to me talk. This is like the dream scenario. Somebody's probably wondering where the gun is pointed at my head off screen. There's probably a Vegas. Yeah, I got Tom Brady holding me hostage. I guess real. This is the home run of all home runs of all home runs here. Like arguably the best player in the glass falls into your lap after you just took Mendoza. You need an extra seabird. Frankly, I came into this mock being like fully prepared to take Cam Coleman here at five. But because we did Leonard Moore three, Jeremiah Smith has a fallen right in the Raiders lap. Which by the way, I also know if Smith was gone and Coleman was the pick here, I'd be totally content with it for the Raiders as well. So this is just again home run situation here for Vegas. Yeah, this is not an Oakland Raiders podcast. We have no issue with the Oakland Raiders despite what people might think after seeing this. But hey, sometimes with the Vegas Raiders, maybe we do have affiliation with. I had to call you out on an ad. Did I say Oakland? You said Oakland. Oh, well, I'm old. What can I say? You didn't say St. Louis Rams. So like, I feel like that's the one that's the one we're like, whoa, well, don't what you say about?

9:20I'm going to be doing that for my entire life. So say the ego chargers the same thing. Yeah. All right, Titans. Who do we have? So we had the Titans going Trevor Gooseby, you know, first one and then Jordan Seaton or second mock, which is good pick. I might do the same thing. You'll have to see a trend develop. Yeah, I mean, they could go Cam Cole. They could go with that either the defensive lineman. They could go Cam Coleman. I mean, they drafted Cardinal Tate at five last year, but they need more weapons and Cam Coleman gives them a little bit, something different. I'm going to give them Jordan Seaton though. I like to tackle pick for them and Jordan Seaton was just so good in week one against Clemson. I think he's going to be kind of the, I think he's going to be the kind of the consensus offensive tackle one. It just makes sense for fits and point. Don't hate it whatsoever. Don't hate it at all. They're for the Houston Oilers sticking with a bit. Atlanta. Last time out, we did Cam Coleman. Honestly, I think obviously tackles a sneaky need for this team. Kind of taking a peek towards quarterback here.

10:24I don't know. I don't see. Jacob was fine that first first week against Wisconsin, but I don't know if it was good enough to go into like top seven, but not a bad week. Sellers, I thought was fine, but again, low level of confidence. Ken State, you know, I do think he's still like first round type of talent. And then there's Trinidad Chameless, which like, I can, you know, spoiler, I'm probably going to get Trinidad somewhere here in the first round, but I don't know if I could pull the trigger on it here at seven. Yeah. But yeah, I mean, Atlanta's in a tough spot because like the two panic situation, like the best case scenario is panic comes back healthy. And it's like, okay, cool. That's the guy we drafted to eight. Like that's how you get out of this purgatory. But otherwise, dude, I think you know what? We've been kind of hating on Dylan Stewart. So just to mix it up, we've had Colin Simmons be the first edge in the last two mocks. Let's do Dylan Stewart here and look. Jaylon Walker, number six player on my board. I hope he comes back in a hundred percent. I hope James Pierce gets his head, you know, screwed on right. Have everyone phrase that. Imagine a pass rush where you could have all three of those guys in the field, especially with Jaylon Walker, that on-ball, off-ball hybrid. You can do a whole lot of fun stuff.

11:26And Jeff Ulbrich has been a really creative schema. And specifically, you look at what Kate analysis for that defense specifically last year, but that just become Jaylon Walker. I don't know. I feel like Jeff Ulbrich, there's a guy to make that three-headed monster work. Maybe Jeff Ulbrich. So just to mix it up here, let's have Stewart be edge one in this draft. And let's have him go to Atlanta here at seven. It's not crazy at all. I mean, you can never have too much pass rush don't stir it's a crazy athlete. And I will say not that this is like the end all be all for the pick, but specifically his athleticism playing in a dome. Like I think about who's the cults old GM. He wrote Bill Pullion. Yeah, he used to talk about how he would want guys with like a sub one six ten yards, but you wanted to fight for any types because we play in a dome. We're going to be up in the fourth quarter. I need guys to tee off. Well, if the dogs are playing with the lead, first step, juice for Stewart is unmatched. Put him in a dome. It could be a lot of fun. Absolutely. Absolutely. All right, Shane. So I've said this like every time I've drafted for like a saint in the panthers, it's they're just going to take whoever is kind of the best prospect who fell to them. And I think we're just going to do the same thing. Colin Simmons is just best player

12:30available. Great player. Make it a easy pick. Well, yeah. And that's kind of where the advantage of the saints right now, you're like a pretty good team. There's some young piece to be excited about. And every one of these mocked drafts, it's just like there's a good enough player to fall to you at eight. You can just kind of stick and pick and you'll be happy with it yet. All right, Carolina panthers. All right, this is a trick your team to draft for them. I would have imagined. And nine specifically is the tough spot here. I think it's a little early to go corner. And that's the spot where I feel like they're getting a little old. So I could see them kind of going that way. I mean, did they just go Cam Coleman? I mean, Coleman with Tepic Millen and Jaylen Cocher. Coca Cocher slot. I mean, Zaver Glatt, they got that got, but yeah, just a guy. And they just drafted a tackle. And this is this has been a team like it would have been nice if that edge rusher could have fallen us. In some respect, it'd be kind of fun to go tight end here, but like knowing Eric,

13:39a year or a PFF background, they're not going to drop to tight end in the top 10. And also, you're not going to drop to tight end over Cam Coleman. So, but you know what? I think Taylor Moton, any hurt right now? Yeah, I think both their tackles are hurt, right? And then what's his contract? They have free link. They did direct free link last year. And he's got flexibility on both sides of line, but yeah, okay. So yeah, I'm looking at Moton. Hold on, I'm trying to pull it up on spot track, not getting great details here. Okay. So he's under contract for a minute. Next year, if they cut him pre June one, they'd say $14 million for a 32 year old tackle. I'm going to the Trevor Guzby here. Yeah. But Panthers fans, I apologize. Not a whole lot of like super appealing options. I would have loved to like one of the like Leonard Moore Felte of one of the head drushers, Felte, you could go Cam Coleman there, but I wonder if that's just a little redundant with how they're using tech right now. And if you move tech to power slot, where's Coke or fit in the mix, you know? So Guzby right now, he's played left and right tackle. I think you could feel pretty good

14:41about whether it's him free link, no matter what, you're drafting a premium position inside the top 10. And you'll figure out who who's playing which spot, but you had your tackle tan of set for the future. Kind of shades of what the Saints did, you know, two drafts ago and then three drafts ago with banks and a Fawaga. Yeah, I also think this draft is just the way it's shaping up. It's not the drafts to get cute. Like take the take a blue chip talent and take the blue chip talent and that drop to you figure out the rest later. And like you said, he's moments of 32 years old. He's injured. You can get out of his contract. That seems to make sense. And secondly, and I'll let you make this pick here. The other thing we're not doing two round mocks yet. So there's definitely a world where you get to the second round and someone like Vicarious Swains when I really liked in the corner back up so he is available. Maybe it's DJ McKinney who continues to play well for Notre Dame. Maybe it's OJ Frederic or Sabian Brown or Kelly, you know, maybe these are some ones there are top of the second round. All the time. I was like, oh, there's the corner. You know, so once we get deeper into these the mock draft season and we start doing second and third rounds, you start to build an entire picture for what you're trying to do for a team. Well, you just do a first round. It's less picks, but sometimes it's harder because you're like narrowed into like just having one pick for a team.

15:43Anyways, I digress for sure. No, that makes complete sense. All right, the bucket nears. So the bucket nears, I mean, Cam Coleman's still in the board. They do have a mecha and Buka. Chris Godwin's getting older and hasn't been very effective, to be honest. Janet McMillan is fine. They did draft headhirst last year. I don't know if I'm going to go Cam Coleman, but I think that would be in the baby having that conversation. They didn't just draft her. This would be a sprint to card and like we got our like, exactly. Yeah, I think that versus look pretty good in preseason and training camp. So they might want to see what they got. They might be backered now re re opt. So like I got to fix the CJ car component, the Trudeau Chamois component. Right. Right. Yeah, that is true. They just signed via Beat of Vaya to extension with Bain last year. Too early for a linebacker. And this could be a corner for sure. Jacob Parrish, Zion McCollum, they have a corner. They did draft Benjamin Morrison. They have him in the year two. Can't they scat the slot?

16:47They're like just good enough to wear like you look around and you're like not in glaring holes, but then you're like here at the 10th pick and you're like, where's the right place to go? Yeah, I think last time we went tight, we had the same problem. We went with Titan. We went with Trayda's greener remember. And they did sign they do have K-Don who they just signed to an extension, right? But with the way I don't know if the bucket nears are going to be running like a lot of two Titans. But that's kind of the way they don't feel it's going. So do you do just go guard and just like take your medicine here? Is this a Greg Johnson you plug in the left guard and just say, hey, cool. I'll never ever roll or Anthony Napp is it K-Paper? Yeah, it could be the thing, but I mean they do a lot of work. Taking Johnson over Coleman feels tough too. Yeah, I think this might just be a cam Coleman spine just to be like, yeah, we got Ted Hurst. But he was also what was the third round pick? I don't know if that, yeah, unless he comes out this year and it looks amazing and catches 100 balls or whatever. But

17:53I would just go. I'm just going to go. Cam Coleman just get the best player available. And what I would see is Jason Lites already done something kind of like this before. Nobody in the right mind thought make a book at 19 makes sense. That's the bucks next need. They need a fourth receiver. But low of a hold just two years later, you're like, they got it took a bokeh. What would that receiver room be without them? Right. And they drafted Nick Mill in the year before that. They just drafted. I mean, Jason Lites one of those GMs were like, I'm going to take my shot in a weapon if I like the player and the value meets it. Sure. And Cam Coleman attend brother. Like, again, we'll see after a while. I'm stating, but I feel like we'll leave this week and be in like, dude, if you get him a 10 fired up. All right. Giant here at 11. No, that's not a couple of different ways we could go here. I'm going to probably stick IDL. That's been what we've been working with with this team. I didn't love Will Eccles tape a week one, but I'm kind of thinking that might be a fun nose tackle option. I'm more your Washington same kind of thing flashes. The mod mode was both our detackle one. And I mean, I will say like apparently the Derrick's

18:58Alexander thing isn't really working out. So you could replace one three tech for another with David Stone. But otherwise, man, like another one they've seen where the roster is just good enough kind of across the board. They could use another receiver. So like this would have been a good like Ham Coleman spot, even with the addition of someone like Malachi Fields. And honestly, you know what? That being said, let me just pull up the giant step to charge to make sure I'm not forgetting about a receiver. Dude, I'm going to go Charlie backer. I'm going to go Charlie backer. I don't really care. Okay. If Nate is going to be playing in 2027. For all our audio only listeners, that was the largest I roll you could have ever visualized right there. They came for me. You know, one because again, I'm just trying to explore different possibilities here. And we've done the IDL thing. Becker brings the speed. I mean, neighbors is a big play threat. But in a perfect world, if you could tell me there's a chance where becker is more of a Z because you can just stick fields as like your sacrificial X.

19:58Neighbors moves back into the slot where he had a lot of college production. That's a really explosive receiver. Remind me, really interesting with that goes. Also, they could just take the supercharged version of Malachi fields in the form of Nick Marsh. I wouldn't hate that whatsoever. So either the Indiana receivers, just to mix it up here, more firepower for the giants. All right, commanders on the clock at 12. I am. Who did we pick for them last time? We picked Becker. Charlie Becker and Jamari Jans in the first time. So two weapons for Jane Daniels. I'm also going to give Jane Daniels a weapon. But maybe a different one than people are expecting. I'm going to give him Jane Baw. They need to run. I would jacquery. Cross-gamer it's fine. You know, they ever shot white. They tried to cage Ron Island at the sixth. But give them Jane and Baw with Jane Daniels in the backfield and just watch that often. And Woffens kind of explode. Dude, when we hit it on the running back episode, but some of the cuts he was just making this last week. That's an excellent. That's a top 10 running back prospect. Yeah, 100%. He may not be blue chib like beach on love right now. But like he's making a case to try to get right in that

21:04right in that vicinity. All right, so let me get back to the Jets. And that's kind of I'm gaming the system here. You know, we we went Leonard Moore at three. So we pass up the quarterback. In a perfect world, this would have been a great spot for Darian Mezzo. Like I feel like I again, I'm still kind of questioning what the upside of Mezzo's game is. So now we've got the ultimate kind of crap. You could go with Lenora Sellers, go with the upside play. I don't know that's totally a Frank Reich guy. Part of me is like dude, Aaron Glenn, the five nine corner. He would love Trinidad Jamblest. Like that. He would love to have Trinidad. But I'm gonna go chalk here and I'm gonna go CJ Carr. That to me is like Frank Reich quarterback through and through standing there to liberate head reads the field well strong enough arm, not all world arm, but like strong enough accurate plays with timing anticipation. The Jim Fierreck comp, which we had back in the quarterback episode. He's a little boring, but I think right now frankly if you're the Jets boring, but stable at quarterback, you'll say, so let's go CJ Carr. I think he'll be more of a 28 guy. But we'll find out over the next couple of weeks because honestly, no other games got some tough

22:06tough matchups coming up and we'll find out sooner rather than later on Carr. Yeah, if you didn't take Carr there, I probably would have given them to the Steelers. Yeah, I don't know if there's gonna be another quarterback. You're now wishing that you wouldn't have done it. You're like, I would. Carr would have made it frankly dude. If you did Trinidad, I wouldn't hate it or the Norris like either one. I think it's still that. I think it's a little too early for both of those guys. Well, maybe I'm not gonna rule it out, but I would probably, I would honestly probably go sellers, I think is who I would go if I did pick a quarterback, just because that's that's the type of player who could rise and get into the top 15, whereas Trinidad and Tim was might go for a strong, but I'm thinking it'd be more like back in just because his size limits how high you think he might go. Yeah, I hear you. I'm looking at the Steelers, I might need some help. Do you think Guard could be in play for them? I got Mason McCormick. I don't know how good he's been. The courtman's been solid, but this could be a year where we see more of him just given Isaac St. Amalou. He was our starting left guard.

23:08He's now in Arizona. Okay. He drafted Jennings Dunker. He has been playing guard, so that's a good that's a good thing. All right, now Spencer Anderson's our slotted right guard with Brock Hoffman back in him up. So you know, I hear if you want. Guard would be in play, you think? I don't know if that's the case. I'm going to go Greg Johnson. I think that's and then frankly, do Jennings College right tackle move him over the right side again, play right guard. That would make a lot more sense to me in and of itself. Or before we go Greg Johnson, since you're the Steelers guy, do you think they'd be more interested in Johnson or now? Because I could go either one. Great question. From McCarthy, I would say, I mean, honestly, I think they'd love both of them. I'd probably go Johnson. I think they might prioritize the athleticism. Again, kind of makes him a core make his movement skills, even Maxi and Ocho how he moves for Faudetano feels like sense Omar cons become our GM. We prioritize athleticism and offensive lemon just to smidge more. Yeah, and I think McCarthy will as well. So I would probably say Greg Johnson just because I think he's a little more fleet of foot. Let's go with them. I think that's going to, if you put Greg Johnson on the right side, you got Greg Johnson and Ian Asher next to him.

24:13That's that's a nice and Zach Frazier center. Yeah, that's a nice one. Yeah. And like they could go peeper because again, the movement skills there, but like Johnson's 325. So like you get the movement skills without like sacrificing the mallar. Yeah, that's a stealer in the making. And frankly, I think the Steelers would take in Vega, you want it if he had fallen into their laps. So like this is almost like we're getting Vega, you're like not quite one-to-one comp there, but you know, you could see where if they liked one guy, I could see them like in the other. Minnesota Vikings. Screw it. I'm doing Tritidad, Jamble's. I mean, yeah, just he can learn he's a perfect quarterback to learn behind Kyler Murray. I think Kyler's going to be on one year thing. I was just trying to make a short more than Steelers just took a guarded 14 Kyler Murray might be in Puckin Pittsburgh. You know, for all I know, he might be in the city very well. But frankly, I am kind of using this and we haven't seen how the Kyler experiment's gone with KOC, but like he looked pretty good with Josh Dubs. And like Kyler should be a way more potent version of that.

25:17And frankly, Tritidad Chamble's at this point like he has rised above every expectation and every like shortcoming you shortcoming, no pun intended. You would have for someone who's sub six foot, he sees the middle field really well. He's got great pocket space negotiation. Like he navigates the pocket as well as anybody in college before right now. And he's got a stronger arm than you would think for someone who's at or below six foot. So I can see a world where KOC is like he a little short, but man's a playmaker. He's got the mobility. He's got the arm strength I'm looking for. We'll make it work. I don't know. Good be a gamble though, because there's a lot of throws over the middle of the field. So it may look good in college, maybe turn into Bryce Young, where like you don't really see a whole lot of that on Bryce Young's table right now. Yeah, at the end of the level, I should say. 29:26right guard. I'm a Dylan Parham guy. I'm a fan of this game, but I can see this team going Anthony NAP in this spot. I can maybe see them maybe Kate Piper, but are people, whichever, whichever pronunciation you prefer, but right, I think with lean towards NAP. I don't think that could go lineback or an honestly like Chris Cole to learn from Demario Davis that they got him to come back. It would be a lot of fun and like a lead outcome for Chris Cole in my mind. And the depth behind him is pretty rough too. Not between Chris Cole and Bard here. We also, we could just go fun and go super sane with this team and go Nick Marsh. Have a true ex-receiver. Yeah, you know, I'm a good Marsh. Also because we've done Marsh the Chiefs the last two times, I do want to make some his landing spot. And Marsh as advertised last week, you know, all be it against ball state, but as advertised, everything you

30:26would expect and kind of what we hyped up, that's what we saw last Saturday. And if he's your ex, you move on from the Ad Nymichal experiment, it was kind of a free risk to take with the sauce trade. And then it's Cooper Jr. Garrett Wilson, whoever's the Z, the other one's the slot with Marsh, your rookie quarterback at 3rd. I mean, two tight ends, Breeze Hall plus Braille and Out. I mean, that is a fun offense right there. Sans Frank Ripe to be honest. That's the long to go and I don't love. And then I think in this world, like you'd be looking at some of these day two guard options and hoping someone, I don't really know, I haven't doubted too deep in the guard class, but someone like Charles Jagu saw maybe someone on day two. So I think you could you could wait on inter-operative line. And let's be honest, that's a position you typically can't wait till day two and get a solid player at. Yeah, much, much, yeah, much easier to find a guard on day two, for sure. All right, here we go. On the clock, we've given them a detackle both times that believe David Stone and Willow Kohl's we went with. So I'm going to go a little bit different, not too different. I'm still still stuck on the defense wine. We have typically not drafted a lot of

31:28ed rushers in our Mox, but we would go consimmons, don't stir in the top 10 and then we've kind of waited on ed rushers. Yeah, I'm going to go with an ed rusher, but not, but they are I'm going to go with Jansi Pierre from Alabama. I think that's a guy who can get into this first run range. He might not necessarily exactly fit with Dennis Allen likes just from a side standpoint. His death is and has crazy size thresholds, but from a skill set standpoint, I do think he fits with Dennis Allen wants a stronger against the run, long arms, and he has actually got some pass-up shoes and the bears desperately need pass-up shoes. So I'm going to go with him just to do something a little different. Well, I'd like that and I would love it for Dennis Allen because it makes me kind of think about like when Nick Benito first broke out in Denver. He was like the antithesis of what fans Joseph is typically liked in his ed rushers or at least liked them to look like. That he was like so good. They couldn't take him off the field. Yeah, and it's almost been like one of those things where like if you have enough of what the DC wants, you can kind of get it. It's almost like the 80-20 eating roll. If you eat clean 80% of the time, you can get about 20% of junk food.

32:29That's almost this where like we got pretty much a defense that looks like what Dennis Allen's want. Dennis Allen wants. And then again that one wild card, that one change up and it was Jansi Pierre. I think it worked. And I think if the bears go this season and don't get any pressure on the quarterback again for a second straight ear, I think Ben Johnson will pull Dennis Allen to sign up. We're going to draft a guy with some juice. You're going to make it work. So that's what's going to happen here. All right, that takes us to the Cincinnati Bengals. Offensive lines and play here is going to be a Anthony Napspot or a Kate Peeper. They did just draft Connor Liu. They also drafted a kid from Duke last year. Tackle converted into your offensive line. They Brian Crine. Yeah. Yeah. Brian Parker the second. You know, they didn't do it. Last draft. And I really and a lot of people thought they might end up drafting one. So let's have this be our linebacker spot. And we'll plan our flag on because one, the Laamu also sounds like he'll be potentially back this week if not this week next week for another day. And so and love that he's in here twice. He's just that good. He's got to be in the simulator twice.

33:33Sandy Brown's a sick athlete, but I think it's still working progress from like a pure linebacker instincts. Chris Coles the guy who's gotten like the size, the physicality, the athleticism, like he's got close to the full package. So there's a linebacker to go top 20 for firmly thinking it's Chris Coles. And he's got a thumper. I like to meet your snite for the bangles, but I think they can use a thumper next to him with his sideline to sideline speed. Yeah, I like that. All right, Cowboys on the clock at 20. We've given them a detackle. We've given them a running back, but change of laws off board. So don't think we're going to go that direction. Yeah. Could still go deep go detackle. Could still what else we got could go. Could go with could go with an edge as well. Could go hide the L. Did we do that last time? Yeah, we did that one of them. We started to your defense level. Could also go tight end. I mean, Jake Ferg, I mean that that George Bacon CDLAM and then a really good tight end, that's going to be really hard to counter. And we haven't drafted a tight end yet. So at pick 20, you're and I think there are two tight ends worth drafting in the first round. So at pick 20,

34:35you're getting a guy who probably should go higher and you get your pick of the of them. It's not like you're getting your second choice either. So I'm going to go with the tight end. I've just decided who I want to go with here. Yeah. My Johnson obviously is extremely talented. More of like a all around doing all tight end trade-as-screen more of just like a receiver. I think I'm going to go to my Johnson though, because I think they have pickens of my amazers receivers. So you want a guy who can be a receiver, but also do other stuff as well. It just seems more like a cowboy's pick to go with your Marry Johnson. I like it. Jamari Johnson. And they've also like they drafted Scoonmaker right after they drafted Ferguson. This is not a team that's been afraid to draft tight ends if they like to play her. But they also can cut Ferguson next year. I was just looking at his contract and they saved $7 million on a 28 year old tight end. I can see a world where they're ready to just make Scoonmaker and someone else the focal points. Or you drafted Marry Johnson and Ferguson becomes expendable that way. All right. The Detroit Lions. Is this been a team we've typically gone corner for? We've gone Asked and Hapt in Folktimes. For the Lions. Which we said we love that fit. So if you want to go forward again.

35:42You're also right. We have kind of ignored edge in a lot of these mock drafts. And look, I like Derek Moore. But I don't know if him in DJ One was totally answering that edge two question. Frankly, even if DJ Moore or sorry Derek Moore is really good. Does it hurt you to have a third one considering this is an explosive offense or me playing with a lead a lot. I don't hate the idea of a third guy. I just don't know who that third guy would be to go with someone like a Derek Moore and an Aiden Hutchinson like Mateo, we angle a he's not sexy, but he would he would fit as that third guy in that mix. Hard to hear like when they go Damon Wilson Jr. and just go for the upside. Or Jordan Ross who had a big week week one could be a guy who sneaks in their first round. I don't hate that. My only concern there is like Hutch. He's finding it's the run Ross still kind of filled out his frame. Let me look at their O line to let me make sure I'm not forgetting a need there because this is another team too like Christian Mahogany left guard Miles Frazier, Bren Barch. Oh man, do they just go hand me down.

36:45I mean, they've read a lot of zones. So that's like, and I think NAP would be fine. Well, they got, I mean Mahogany and Brad Ledger are pretty good, but they do have juice shrugs. This could be like a paper, a piper situation because he could play center or guard. Didn't they sign Kade Maze? What happened to that? I'm looking at the death chart now. Look at our lads and I don't see him. What happened? He's injured. It looks like. Tariots don't know. I don't know how long he could, yeah, he could be back soon, but okay. Man, see that's where injury is like it's already kind of mudding the waters here. Yeah. Piper would be nice because like totally a zone fit, but guard center flexibility is kind of nice there. I think you could be just fine in a lot of zone. If they ended up

37:46continuing that trend under Kelvin, Kelvin Shepherd. So I think he's fine either way. It's a little boring to do it three straight times. So Lions fans, I apologize, but you're getting an awesome player, my CV too. We're going to be doing a lot of mocks. There'll be a different, well, eventually you ask and at least we talked about all the definitions. Yeah. All right, he goes on the clock. They desperately need a safety. So it's just two is the VIXFANGEO safes, a KJ Bolden or the T-Jots. 38:48Jared Patterson actually do think like that's a solid bio-low at center for them. Go Irish and Adonakuni is there at right guard. They throw okay at receiver, assuming everything. Well, actually, I don't know, they could use one more guy even with Stribbling. I think I got Mike Evans. They could definitely go to the water receiver. I think we've given them water receiver. But KJ, KJ Duff, like also, I don't think I'll do it because I'm pretty sure that Mike Evans deal with a three-year contract. But if Mike Evans is one-year deal, I'd be going KJ Duff here just to replace that. But man, after what we saw from him week one, is this two-salexander? Is this like the field game speed guy? 42:57So I think I'm going to go Napp. And frankly, at this point, I think Napp might be a smidge better than I've been on K-Piper for a couple of years now. I'm a huge K-Piper fan. But honestly, after what I saw last week, I think Napp is like, that guy looks like a NFL ready tackle. They also had really good or NFL ready guard. They also had good success drafting off the Notre Dame. Notre Dame offensive line last time round. So let's see history sort of repeat itself in the form of Anthony Napp. Yeah, I like that pick. And they might just have PTSD, but we can't have a situation where both of our tackles get hurt again and we have absolutely no one that Napp could play there in a pinch. Right. And like as much as guards have become like they're making $20 plus million a year nowadays, like guards are valuable in and of themselves. At the same time, like in a pinch, would you rather figure out left guard or left tackle? Like, I don't love this option. Who would you rather be where that person be? You'd rather that person be a left guard than left tackle. But yeah, problematic in and of itself too. Chief fans will tell you that. All right. Houston Texans. So who do we got? Who do we go with them last time?

Sierra Vell is playing guard this year. I'm interested in Jakarius P. He just hasn't played this year or P.J. Williams. I think it's good. And I thought he looked pretty good to the night against. Who did they play? SMU and I watched that game like seven times because I was watching the players in my honestly come forward to state. SMU forced. Yeah. I was supposed to state. Yeah. And I thought he looked good, but yeah, I don't know about first round just. And then Caden Green, I think he might be a guard, but like, I don't hate the tackle tape. 49:11And they keep drafting edge rushers. So I feel like I'm okay there, Zown Young, Ethan Burke, even was like a solid player for Texas. Mike Green, Trey, Hendrixson. Okay. And then Nambi, Mattabouique, we'll see how he plays this year, but if he's back to normal, oh man, you know what's tough though. Especially for, you know, you know, this even better than me, but Declan Doyle coming from Chicago and the center position right now for the Ravens. Yeah. It's almost kind of half to be Kate Deeper. Yeah, I like that. As much as I'd love to go corner, let's just say in this world, someone like OJ Fred O'Reak, Off-Angery, or I don't know who really Vicarious Swain could be an option here. Who Carter, I thought I'd have solid week one. I think TJ McKinney, like I would definitely keep it on him. I think he'll rise up boards sooner rather than later. The kind of curious tackle comes up as the top need on stick to the model. They just draft a Jude battery. Spent some rounds, been a good player and getting better year over year. I'm much read Adams, I think, as a sneaky like back of Garf, this team, good scheme fit. Kind of like Porman's, the Cyrus Torrents in a lot of ways. Lily Kushnerberry, McGovern, complete Garf. Yeah, so I think they're good only online. I can see this team just like firing up on, you know what I'm going to do. This is exactly what I'm going to do. I said this so much during

52:19draft season last year because they bring in Jim Lenter to be their new DC coming from Denver. I was like, I wonder if they get a Nick Benito type, someone who's a DPR because they kind of have the infrastructure for early downs covered. Brad the Chubb, still a good run defender. Question marks about what he is as a past rusher, but he's still good against the run at this point. And then TJ Parker, who had just drafted, solid against the run, Greg Russo, Long, Athletic, good against the run, even Michael Hoyt. So yeah, they did just draft an edge rusher with their first pick last year's inside the top 40, but like Damon Wilson is such a different player. And I wonder if Jim Lenter would look at him as like, yeah, that's my Nick Benito. Everyone else will stop the run. Damon Wilson will end drives. So like early, my early lean is there. I do think they could go with another safety. Kilgore to me is more of a nickel. Jordan Hancock has been solid in campus. What I've been hearing. CJ Garner Johnson, I think he's definitely replaceable. So poor my brain is like to TAY Johnson in a single high heavy defense for Jim Lenter. Let the playmaking begin like that would be awesome. The other part of my brain is like,

53:21man, Damon Wilson, just like teen off would be a whole lot of fun. This is so so I want both of them. This is a trade back stage which I'm on me right now. I will go with TAY Johnson because I think him and Cole Bishop would be sick. You could have Jordan Hancock with your third safety. Kilgore is like your nickel project in the making. Also, Jordan Hancock had played nickel and I think he'd be pretty good at that. Let's go with TAY Johnson. Also, I think he's just a slightly better at least from an NFL standpoint. I know more about TAY Johnson and what he'll be at the next level than I am right now with Damon Wilson. Wilson's still a little bit of a projection and we've seen one game right now. Still waiting and seeing. Frankly, I'll say that one game against Stanford. I don't think he was bad, but he wasn't like the guy for Miami either. Still waiting and seeing there on Damon Wilson. Yep. So Browns are a clock last pick. We went quarterback for them, right? I went quarterback at four. I think I want to met you at Terry and Mensa. Yeah. Okay. Just wanted to make sure.

54:23Yeah. So they have quarterback. They got, you know, Quintrun Jenkins, Jones Amps, and they're running back. They have receivers in place. They have hair and fan. Their office line is looking pretty good, honestly. Yep. So I'm thinking it's going to be defense all the way here. Even though I always love pairing like a quarterback with the office player, but I think just the way that they have everything laid out, it's going to be an offensive guy. So it could be a corner for sure. Denzel Ward's going up there and they also just need more corners in general. Yeah. Could be a linebacker. I mean, Schrozen's is great, but they don't really have much beyond that. Yeah. Could be defensive end as well. This could be a good Damon Wilson spot potentially. It's a more more juice could be a drawn Ross spot potentially. I like Ross and Wilson. I always say this. So like you can take this with a grain of salt, but I love pairing up got like versus like the perfect power rusher. Yeah. So on the opposite side, a guy with just like insane first step, Wilson, Ross would be like top of the list for this class. I kind of love that on

I know a lot of like draft guys are talking about, but just the general like, you know, NFL fandom, even college football fandom, I think he is a chance to go a lot higher than 28. I'll say that. So I like that pick a lot. And I'm do say I was Andrews, my guy. I think the last couple of times we gave the four and I was Ryan Coleman Willings because give Kyle Shanann an explosive playmaker. We just gave him a different explosive playmaker who might not drop everything that's thrown his way. So I like that too. I like it. Oh, I feel obligated to say Jeremiah Smith, the Raiders. Like that would be like such a, like, yeah, that is like actually, I take back everything I said that's you're totally fine. Nick Marshall Jets, really like that pairing. I'm also I like the bangles.
