In this episode, Peter reads the original Chapter 1 of Bram Stoker’s Dracula, a public‑domain classic.Jonathan Harker begins his journey from England to Transylvania, travelling through strange landscapes, meeting frightened villagers, and finally arriving at Count Dracula’s mysterious castle.
Peter decided to read Dracula because it was the first English novel he ever read, and it inspired him to write his own English novel, Viera the Vampire Girl Diary.
This episode is also Peter’s reading and acting practice, bringing the Gothic atmosphere to life while helping learners improve English pronunciation, intonation, and story comprehension.
