Double Shooting in Birmingham: One Dead, One Injured

It happened around 7.15 pm on the 200 block of leg drive circle northeast. Officers rushed to the scene after reports of gunfire and found the first victim shot. Fire and rescue took him to UAB hospital where he's expected to pull through. Soon after, a second man showed up at the hospital on his own, and sadly passed away from his wounds. Investigators say the two victims had planned to link up with a couple of other folks at that spot. Things went south fast during the meet-up, leading to the shots that hit both men. No one else got hurt, but the local area is rattled by the violence. Right now, detectives are questioning those two un-injured people from the gathering to piece together what happened.
