About this episode
"I am a person with a lot of anxiety. I've found that through art, I can calm my brain and refocus my energy into something that brings me joy, pride, and a sense of calm." - Andrea Nelson For today's project, you just need watercolor paper, watercolor paints (even Crayola will be great for this!), and a pen or marker with a sort of fine point. Andrea is a former preschool special education teacher turned full-time artist and content creator. She left the classroom when she and her husband opened a candy store. A few years into business ownership with her husband, she started her own art business, A Dream Or A Day Art, selling products featuring her brightly colored watercolor animals but, she missed teaching and connecting with others, so she started creating short art videos for people who may be intimidated by art or have no artistic experience at all. Her goal is to help people unlock their creativity through art that feels doable and fun!
