So today we are reading another beautiful fun story for you. This particular story does have some rapid ears in it, but all the more, it has some Easter eggs. It looks like this story's fault. Ready?

00Don't push the button. The subtitle is an Easter Surprise, and this story was written and illustrated by Bill Cotter, and it's read today by Mommy and who are ya? Whoa, sounds like you're cracking. Are you an egg? Oh, you're a bird. Hello, little baby bird. Friends, I've just touched an egg, and inside of it is a baby bird. I know it's shocking. You didn't think I could do that, but I can, and here he is. Are you ready for your story, little bird? All right, then let's get right to it. Mommy and little bird. Now, when we open the book, we see there's a monster.

00He's purple, and he has blue horns, and he says, Oh, hi there. I'm Larry, and I'm so excited for Easter. Aren't you? And right next to him, we can see a big gray box with a giant red, shiny button. And oh, my goodness, my friends. That button is just begging to be pushed. Don't you think? Larry has something to say about it. He says, I know what you're thinking, but we shouldn't push the button seriously for real. What? Why not? But I don't think the strawberry is locking. Go ahead and push. Oh. Uh-oh.

00Well, my baby bird just pushed the button. And you're never going to guess what happened. Where did these bunny ears come from? Chypa pushing the button to her lips. Chypa says, Larry, I would like to say something. The reason why Larry is crying out is because he has two bunny ears instead of those blue horns that I was describing earlier. All right, my little sweet bird. You want to push the button twice? And guess what happened? Oh, my friends. Chypa, now I have a bunny nose and whiskers. And it's true. Larry is no longer very monstery. He's got cute little pink bunny ears and a cute little pink bunny nose and little whiskers. Oh, my goodness. He's so cute now.

01Not very slim at all. And there's something else I've noticed. The button no longer looks round. Does it? It looks like an Easter egg. And he says, quick, push the button five times. Oh, my goodness. Oh, we've got five eggs. Tap each egg to add some color. He says, and sure enough, there are five eggs. And now that we have tapped those eggs, it's amazing. The next page over, we can see they all have colors. There's a green one, an orange one, a pink one, a blue one, and the other one. And he says, decorate the eggs with your fingertips to make them extra special.

06And so my Tweety Bird has decorated them. Holy moly. They look amazing. There's polka dots and stars and stripes and zigzags on them. And all sorts of different colors. Now, Larry has something to say. Beautiful. Now, shake the book up and down to draw the paint. And so we have now shaken the book. But guess what happened when we did that? Oh no. All that shaking makes the eggs go flying. Can you blow on the grass so we can find them? Almost. Just blow a little harder. Whoa. Sure enough. Sure enough. We did that. And now we can see the eggs.

08This book is almost like going for an Easter egg hunt. So that's fun. And there they are. Count the eggs as you slide each one into the basket. Make sure you get them all. Yeah, that was one, two, three, four, five. Right? Yeah. Think, buddy, you helped make this the best Easter ever. Says Larry. And there's that button again. Do you see it? He's put the button in the Easter basket with all the eggs that we had. There's that button. We really can't help ourselves. Can we? We want to push that button. But should we? Should we? Probably not, right? Because that's right, this book all over again. Oh my goodness, that'd be so silly. And I think, do we go on a say the eggs now? Yeah, okay. Hi. Can you say tweet-to-it? Wait, wait, wait. Okay, do you want to say anything in human voice to our friends?

11Okay. We hope you can join us for another story tomorrow. The end? Tweet-to-it? Tweet-to-it? The end. If you liked the show, please take a moment to rate, review, and subscribe. It really does help the show to grow. Thank you for listening.
