It has just been over two weeks since the world say goodbye to Dolly Parton, but her sister's revealed something about her passing. What details do you have? Yeah, it's kind of on brand, you know, with Dolly. She's basically said Dolly wanted very few people to know that she had cancer. Stella is one of Dolly's sisters. They were very close. Dolly is a performer in her own right, so she's appeared on television to give the interview. Now this is the actual full interview drops tonight out time. They've only released the teaser, but in this you can see that Dolly didn't want people worrying about it. This is Stella. Dolly could not bear negative things, and she would not have wanted her fans worried about it. Is that why it was a secret you think, because she didn't want people to worry? Absolutely. You think it's as simple as that? She did not want people sad. She'd be really happy and delighted that people have shown her so much love, because she knew
that would make us feel better. Yeah, a lot of performers perhaps would go the other way. They want to feel the love and they want to get the attention, but Dolly did it Dolly's way and very, very classy. Meanwhile, we have new music from Dolly. She recorded this. They think it was probably a couple of years ago, but the album's only just dropping now. It's attributed to the Stanley Brothers. The Stanley Brothers were a very famous bluegrass duet. Carter Stanley died many years ago, but his brother Ralph was still performing up until 2016 when he died. So they've gone back and taken those recordings and brought celebrity guests into sing. So Dolly took part in this one, and it is called Bound to Ride, Dolly Parton, Intribute to the Stanley Brothers. Are we ready girls? One, two, one, two, three. I'm going to Lennon just to look around. If things don't suit me, there I'll find another town.
Oh honey, baby, I'm going to ride. Hey, that'll do all the good food. So Sam and Greg, a little bit of the elderly hillbilly space on there. Absolutely, yes, yes. Absolutely. Good to settle on the tunnel across the top where the soul never dies. Yeah, yeah. Lovely.
