"Would I still do this if nobody ever knew?"

It moves virtue away from performance and toward practice.

Your character is built in ordinary moments.

The temptation nobody sees.

The promise nobody can enforce.

The person you treat well even when they have nothing to offer you.

Don't let applause become your measurement of goodness.

Some of the best things you do may never become impressive stories.

They still count.
