About this episode
When I was hosting the Disruption Sessions earlier this fall and was talking about disruption and disorientation, I was reminded that not everybody wants to lean into that. As human beings, we like to stay comfortable and safe.
But, here's the thing... disruption is actually a way to alignment - which most of us DO want.
If we want something new or to do what is good and right, that usually requires some sort of disruption, disorientation, discomfort. We can't get there by clinging to what we already know.
"The work we're asking people to do (as mentors and coaches) is to step up to the plate of their lives." It's not easy but it's required.
I want to honor that. Yes, it's work - but it's worth it.
What are you pushing on or bristling up against currently? I want to know. DM me on Instagram if you'd like to discuss further. I'm always here for that! (@caryngillen)
