Discussing conservation opportunities with Conservation Opportunity's Fabiola Torres-Toledo | Sea Change

About this episode

Tune in as Jenna and cohost David Riera discuss Puerto Rico's changing climate, building community, and expanding access to conservation work across the Caribbean and beyond with Conservation Opportunity's Founder, Executive Director, and President, Fabiola Torres-Toledo. Conservation Opportunity is a non-profit organization incorporated in Puerto Rico that connects people with paid and volunteer opportunities in the field of environmental conservation, mostly in Puerto Rico and the United States. The organization helps alleviate the fact that you have to go to more than 20 different resources to collect this information. In addition, it carries out outdoor educational events such as beach cleanups, restoration of native and endemic populations, and farm work with agroforestry practices, among others.
