El: Η αγορά της Παλιάς Πόλης στη Θεσσαλονίκη ήταν γεμάτη ζωή.
En: The market of the Old Town in Thessaloniki was full of life.

El: Φωτεινές γιρλάντες κρέμονταν πάνω από τα πλακόστρωτα σοκάκια.
En: Bright garlands hung above the cobbled alleys.

El: Η μυρωδιά από καβουρδισμένα κάστανα γέμιζε τον αέρα, και οι φωνές των καλάντων αντηχούσαν στις γωνιές.
En: The smell of roasted chestnuts filled the air, and the voices of carolers echoed around the corners.
