Discomfort Creates More Faith in God

As summer slowly approaches its end, tune into this episode of Her Authentic Self Podcast as I uncover the spiritual messages God has been showing me. 

The first is that there is purpose in isolation. Often times Spirit must get us alone, removed from distractions in order for us to hear Gods voice more clearly. The second is that many of us need to stop idolizing pleasure, myself included. 

I am not always going to feel good all the time; but there is something to be said about sitting with God in discomfort. Something powerful happens when we choose to trust God, build up our faith and move as though he is our comfort, he is our refuge; not ourselves and not temporary satisfaction and pleasure. 

God loves all his children and the hope is that we learn the messages he has for us so that we don't repeat the same pain and struggle over and over again. Listen as I share personal examples of how God used pain and struggle to build my spiritual identity in Christ.
