About this episode
On this episode of Free Thinking, Montel talks with Glen “Lewis” Hapeman, a terminally disabled Navy Veteran. While fighting for his life medically, an unexpected four-legged angel came to his aide. Lew rescued an abandoned pitbull named Honey, and then she rescued him. Lew was awarded a grant to send Honey to service dog training school, and she has never left his side since. Lewis and Honey and battling homelessness and need support to keep a roof over their heads while Lewis lives out his final days.
