It's so good to talk to you in person. I have been watching, reading the newsletter mostly and then sharing information with my friends who are all trying to keep everybody up to date. Awesome. Well, thank you for that.

3:05I appreciate that. So I see stolen, all I have is two words. Stolen Facebook. So either you stole Facebook or somebody stole from you. No, no. Yeah, no somebody stole it from me and it was quite a thing because they didn't clone it. They actually stole it. And within maybe an hour of them doing this, I got to notice it says, is this you? And I'm tapping, not me, not me. And it didn't matter, obviously. But for the short time, I was able to get in long enough to see and do a screenshot of the contact page still had my email, her email or their email and their cell number. Okay. So wait, back up, back up. Okay. So what happened with what? I mean, so you went to sign on to Facebook and then somebody else took over your account.

4:12Well, I didn't go. I actually was, you know, I get an alert that says someone's trying to sign it. Okay. All right. Okay. So you said no, no, no, no. And then you got in there and then you saw that they were already there. Okay. And then of course you went to Facebook and said, I want it back. No, no. First, I emailed the email. Oh, you did. Okay. Yes. And I said, I used this account for pro bono work for a lot of nonprofit organizations. I really need this page back. And it should be, or they also wrote back, oh, fine. I'd love to give it back to you for $1,500. Oh. And if you don't, if you don't pay me, I will sell it for $2,000 to somebody else. And what did you say? I didn't say anything at that point. I know not to pay. Right. I thought maybe you'd like you low-bomb go like, okay, I give you ten bucks.

5:13You know, and then like, you know, well, and then after that she did put something I administered to other pages, nonprofit pages. And she put a car for sale. Of course. It makes it. It makes it. $1,500, which must be the magical amount. So people were contacting me. The people who were close enough just called me. I said, what's with this car? How many miles? And I'm going to go. You're like, no, that's not my car. Okay. Sorry. It doesn't exist. I got my car. It's in the driveway. It's staying right where it is. It's paid off. I didn't know you had a Honda Accord. Really? Great car. Not mine. And not yours either. So did you get your account back? No. No, I did. Here's what happened when you go through the reach Facebook and you say, you have Facebook.com slash hacked. I know they, yeah, exactly. And basically they say, fine, just give us your cell phone number and we'll send you

6:15a code. The code went to her. Of course it did. And in fact, with my new, I hope so. Eventually I bid the bullet and I just opened a new account. But I still have the same email and code number. I mean a cell phone number. So when I, when they send, you know, I could go to sign in and they say, we're going to send you a code. It's like, oh, no. And even though I give them the cell phone number or the email. A new email. The new, well, I have the same email. Okay. Let me tell you. Okay. Here's what you need to do. Okay. We're going to take it from step one. If you have Gmail, you guys will be like, yeah. Just Jeanine, the fabulous one in Louisville at, let's say that's your Gmail. Okay. Okay. So that one you do is just like just Jeanine, the fabulous one in Louisville, then you put a plus sign and then you say Facebook.

7:15Okay. So, so that email address gets just with that particular social media. So if that ever gets compromised, you can just make a new one. Okay. Because it's all going to get, it's all getting funneled in there. As far as with phone numbers, you can use a Google voice number. So, so, you know, so those codes will always come to there. And as a matter of fact, you can use really an authenticator app so that these SMS codes are not going to a phone or email anymore. So, and the authenticator app is only on your phone. So that's really the proper way to set up your social media accounts. I should probably write. Should I write this up? I should probably write this. Okay. I will. I'll write this up. Because I'm talking to them like, you know what? I probably, there are more people or more, are more, are you needs in the world that need this in fact? Exactly. I'm not alone in this problem. Yeah. Did you ever go to Facebook.com slash ID? I don't think I did the ID one. Because that, you know, hacked. So what you want to do there is that's where you can, you can upload a copy of your

8:19driver's license to prove that this is really you. And you might want to try that to get it back. But, you know, so, so the problem is that you got all your eggs in one basket, Facebook basket. Okay. You've got these three different accounts all using the same data. And so, so you're like, mm-hmm, mm-hmm. I know, I know, I know. Okay. So what we want to do is we're, I'll write all this up. I'll put it in a newsletter. Okay. And that you want to have like these separate accounts. And so that this way, in the unlikely event of something does get compromised that you're not sitting there going like, woo, now what? But you did the right thing. You didn't pay them. And that's the most important thing. Because if you had to pay them, they would, they'd get your 1500 and they'd go, well, you know what? Because times what it is, it's going to cost you another 500. And then you're like, well, I'm in for, but 13, I'm in for 1500. What's another 500? Then you're into two grand. And they're like, mm-hmm. You got another 700 because then it just keeps going on and on and on until you just

9:22give up and then you've lost all your money. And unfortunately, Facebook being the trillion dollar company that it is, they don't believe in customer service. Imagine that. I don't know whatever happened to us. I mean, any company in the entire world that was worth this much money with these number employees that we just, we would never agree like to say, okay, it's all right. I'm going to be your customer, but you know, you're not going to ever help me with anything. But yet with the tech companies, we do that. And before you sit there and you say to me, well, Kim, it's free. Okay, it's not free. It's not free at all. You're paying with your privacy. You're paying with your data.
