Derion Kendrick Signs with Cowboys, Ready to Rebound

0:00On March 25th, former Georgia Bulldogs defensive back, Daryon Kendrick, just signed a one-year deal with the Dallas Cowboys. The news comes from NFL Network's Tom Policero. Kendrick played for both the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks during the 2025 season, and now he'll fight for a bigger spot in. Dallas's secondary heading into 2026. Last year, Kendrick had some ups and downs. He grabbed two interceptions, a career high in his first three weeks with the Seahawks. Things didn't click as much later, especially during the playoffs with the Rams after switching teams. Back in college, Kendrick shone in his one season at Georgia in 2021. He helped the Bulldogs win a national championship and picked off two passes in their playoff semi-final against Michigan. Before that, he claimed another title at Clemson. The Rams took him in the sixth round of the 2022 draft after a strong year with 41 tackles and four interceptions. He had his best NFL season in 2023 with the Rams, but a torn ACL kept him out for all of 2024.

1:03Now fully recovered and healthier than ever, Kendrick aims to rebound in Dallas. With his injury two years behind him, expecting to push hard for playing time in the Cowboys defensive backfield next season.
