Denzel Washington's Hannibal War Epic Starts Netflix Production

It's the latest project from director Antoine Fuqua. There's six time working together. They first teamed up on training day back in 2001. Their most recent was the Equalizer, 3 in 2023. This Hannibal film re-unites them after a two-year wait since the announcement. Washington stars as the Carthaginian general who marched warriors and elephants over the Alps to challenge Rome in the second Punic War. He is also producing alongside Fuqua. John Logan wrote the screenplay. A claims cinematographer Robert Richardson just joined the team. He is famous for shooting the aviator, Kill Bill, and in glorious bastards. Netflix has not shared the full cast or release day yet. Meanwhile, Washington wrapped high as two lowest with Spike Lee for next year.
