This is an I Heart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. Hi, this is Kylie Breakman, Angel Jaretana. Jeremy Cole, Hank Paschek McDonald. And we're the hosts of the artist on artist on artist podcast. The improvised character comedy podcast, where each week a new panel of artists discuss their craft. Join us for a panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He winks on Halloween. He gets right up next to the microphone. I hear you get the almost here. The eyelashes hit each other. You never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween. Listen to artists on artist on artist on artist every Thursday on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Self-cars of timber is your reminder to slow down, check in with yourself, get off your phone, and maybe ask why am I like this? I'm James Beak, host of the Psychology of Your 20s podcast. And this month we're helping you make sense of the person that you are becoming,

from setting boundaries and navigating friendships, to understanding anxiety, confidence, relationships, and attachment. Sometimes our biggest decisions, without us even realizing it, aren't driven by what we truly want, but by what will prevent us from feeling lonely or being alone. Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. So, like by Asia-Ratherne or so, at least 70% have a phone. I'm Dr. Joy, and this is Therophy for Black Girls. We spin our surviving middle school run, getting into what's happening inside your kids' brain, the group chat, and their friendships, and what you can do about it. Your child is not doing this on purpose. That's the kind of perspective we've been pulling from the psychologists and psychiatrists who study this for a living. Listen to Therophy for Black Girls on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Our hometown is not a test tube. 90 miles northeast of Nashville, a battle for the future of America plays out in one small town.

Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land. We need cities on a shining hill. This is our town, a podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment and fights back. I guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? We've been into our town on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. College football will hijack your weekend, ruin your sleep, and break your heart. And that's why we make the Sullivan-Verbal College football show. I'm Ty Hildenbrand. He's Dan Rubenstein. Every week we preview the games that matter in the story lines that are going to ignite your group chat. You can join us in the aftermath as we react to what happened, why it matters, and how the sport went completely bonkers yet again. Listen to the Solid Verbal College football show on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. But what I want to get to is a little something which you're starting quarterback, Dishon Watson here.

Brown's quarterback, Dishon Watson, was cited going 86 miles an hour in the 60 mile per hour zone on I-480. Outside of P. On 826, Watson was poured over the day before the Brown's final season, final preseason game, according to WKY. Body camera footage from the traffic stop show Watson, complying with the troopers requests, providing his identification and all requested information. Watson pled not guilty to the citation and in his next quarter appearance is September 23rd. Joe, why is your boy over here flying around like he ain't got no good sense, Joe? No, this is a non-story. It's on I-480. I'll be on I-480. So, no, he's not 86 miles an hour.

I'm never telling my man to go over his feeling that is not. D-Bo, don't even sit here and act like this is any type of craziness news. Obviously slow down. I don't even know my man. He's 480. For sure. D-Bo, I'm telling you right now, don't be sitting here looking here lying to I've been in the car with you. Hey Joe, I'm gonna keep you. I'm gonna keep you in the car. I'm gonna keep you in the car. You ain't driving 86, but you were driving faster than the 61. Joe, I'll give you the bug with you man. This is a speed. I understand that. This is definitely going against the law. This is going to be driving fast. But what they don't understand, 480, Joe, 480 traffic be moving. Traffic be moving. You be going 80 on there because that's how fast traffic is moving. So, you may go 86 just to pass on the left. You know, if I'm rolling with traffic and I, you know, I got to pass somebody because I, you know, I don't like, I don't like rolling with traffic for some reason.

I like to be moving through traffic a little bit. So, I'm gonna hit the left lane and I'm gonna pass through. Yeah. Plus, my dude, he fled not guilty to it. Okay. So, the radar might have hit the wrong car. Like something like that. It ain't like the man was doing a buck something. No, not a buck. 86 is fast, but he's not fast and furious. And here's the crazy thing, bro. This happened almost a month ago, bro. Why is y'all bringing this out? Over the last couple days. Which are reporters doing over there, man. They don't want to report nothing positive. They're getting this, man. I'm here to stand for the show. For this one to be like, look, bro, this all good, bro. You got to slow this. You know, I, you just slow down. We got games to play. We got to be Jacksonville. That's my man's goal. It's probably trying to get, it was after the preseason game. He was getting home to stand. And then the last game where they were trying to get an out. And is that the game? I don't think that was the game, though, Joe.

That was the game before that because he didn't play in the last one, Joe. So what he's speeding for. Let me stop, Joe. I'm just tripping. I'm just tripping. I don't know why I just can't. You know, I'm saying I have a hard time giving something, you know, I'm like they report us over there and cleave. And I'm looking for the worst. I'm trying to make everything bad. Be going, come on, man. That's why I can't wait for the games to start. So we can actually start talking about what's going on in the field. And then we can't do. So then, then we had, even feel that it matters because if we play to win the game, we was talking about the Rams, they were supposed to be, I was expecting them to be nice. Listen, you got to fight that ticket on a day. What you do on a day, right, don't even if they didn't hit the wrong car, you still got to fight that ticket because you talking about 26 over. That's working. So you can't sign to that. You can't, you can't, you go to court. You plead that down. You go ahead, get a, get a, get a lesser, you know, thing. And then you go ahead and pay the fine. You don't never jump in that thing and pay nothing like that because that's so many points on your license. This is going to be ridiculous. I'm going to make you have to prove that every piece of equipment you had on that stop is perfectly measured out, calibrated.

You know what I mean? Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yes. I know you know, because you had to do, you had to sound like you know from experience. When you talk about what that means, and Joe, I ain't never got, I ain't never. I mean, the Browns, uh, defense event, Jared verse spoke to the media, uh, about Cleveland being counted out against the jacks. We got some video. Joseph. I don't really care about the motivation. I don't really care too much about what other people think. My main focus is the Browns fans and the Browns organization. Respect is the thing that you can't just get, you know, you know, no one just hands you respect the other end of that every week. You can't get it just by, you know, what you do on the practice field, what you do that every Sunday is, you know, the biggest thing. And going out of this game one, one to know that I will give us the most of my respect we can possibly get. Hey, Joe, I like an angle like you know, I know that I know you do. Look, I know you do. I know you do. I know you think I would say different is I would put ownership before the fans.

Because if it was for the fans, you wouldn't even be there, bro. I know. But that might be a happy good thing for you because you still be back there in LA. But not right right now would be a good thing because I would have got dog walk. You know, I'm saying I got dog walk. And you're not mad. And now, you know, looking at, you know, the decision of sending him over there, you know, I'm saying sending miles over there that Barry made. Now, I don't know what the heat was he looking into the future. I don't know. We go find out after, you know, a few more games, but you know, I'm saying like they, they got memes up there where, you know, Aaron Rogers on the corner rushing to court. Back, they talking about his miles, Garrett. And I tell you this. That man, Jerry verse was watching that game. Smiling here to here. I can't hear. I tell you what the, he's looking at it now like this. Okay, crown them. Why don't you crown them? Why don't you the games are played? The game is meant to be played. The game has to be played. So now, into the day with Jerry verse, I love what he's saying. Because guess what? You do play for the Cleveland Browns.

Everybody does keep talking the only way you can change what they say is if you win the game. When you win games, then again, start like whatever they tell me doesn't matter because you're winning games. You're figuring out a way to leave the stadium with a win. So with him, what I'm rocking with Jerry verse is you're a thousand percent right. Don't matter with anybody else. If they think you're going to win, you like the Rams, you go out there and get smacked. If you think you're going to lose, you can go out there and dog welcome. It doesn't matter what people think. It doesn't matter what we say. It matters when you go out there and play this game. And it doesn't matter if you're quarterbacks, it matters if you're open to line, if you're defensive line, if everybody's coordinated, if y'all are missing, if people just run the sky free down the lines. So it matters about you can control the narrative. Only thing we're doing is reporting the news. So if you come in there and ball out and you beat Jacksonville and dog welcome 27 to 7, then you'll start gaining respect. Because there's nothing you can go say right now, playing for the Browns knowing we won four games last year that make people be like this.

Oh, yeah, I believe I believe because you're going to look stupid because we believe believe believe and you got their loose. So until we start winning games, that's when people will be like this. Okay, but there's something to what you're saying. You know what I'm saying? You guys are actually going up there putting in words. So I'm rocking with everything that Jerry verse is. Like you said, he over there watching that game. Man, he watching that game sitting over the air just happy as he want to be man. I'm cheese and it's smiling, Joe. She's in this smiling. Once you get rid of me, Joe, my homeboys on that team is my homeboys. Listen, I hope y'all played great. I hope you play with. I hope y'all play great. I don't want y'all ever game as a team. No hurt, harm, a danger. I want you to go. You go. I want to listen. You can go for 100 games as a team. And then at the last second, somebody tripped them fall and they scored. When I was sitting there, but you bought out there, you can still go to the pro Bowl. I want you to go all pro. Go question. No question. No question.

Put your team. Yeah, I want you to go. Or 17 when I was sitting over there. Cincinnati Joe. I'm like, oh, yeah, I want you to get. Oh, yeah. I'm sitting over like, oh, yeah. And we made the playoffs. They didn't make them playoffs. I'm like, oh. Yeah. And we wanted to see North. You want to get rid of me. Okay. You want to do this to me. You want to do this to me. You want to do this to me. You lost. You lost. Man. Come on, verse. Because I'm telling you that's the only way that you can get something going is winning games. So I'm loving Jerry verse energy, D. But I'm loving his juice. Yeah, for show for show. That's what we hear, man. We had talked about this before, brother. Like, hey, y'all need to pay the man because he worth it. If you look at it now, the bucket nears and Baker may feel have agreed to a three year one hundred and sixty five million dollar extension. The extension includes a hundred and ten million in new guarantees on top of the forty million

guarantee. And Baker was scheduled to make in 2026. The books originally offered Baker a two year, fifty million. But may feel that his agent, Tom Mills, felt that deal was too light. Yes, too light. You need to ask him more time on that with some more money. Okay. The new deal average is fifty five per season. Ty for third highest in the league, Joe. Now, some people say that might be too big of a bag for Baker Joe. You tell me what you think because I know you got a personal relationship with the man. You don't play with the man. You're seeing with the man can do it. We've seen with the man can do it. We've seen the numbers that the man put up. Joe, go ahead and take off. It goes from yes, Debo. We spoke on this and we said that the market is the market when you have new quarterbacks that come in like Trevor Lawrence. With Trevor Lawrence signed his bag. He's making fifty five million dollars a year. Nobody's worried about it.

You have Jordan Love. He comes in and he signs his contract. And for the last three years, Baker Mayfield has played better than Jordan Love. He's played better than obviously Daniel Jones. He's played better than Justin Herbert. When we talk about the numbers, his stats. He's in passing touchdowns in the last three seasons over everybody. He's second in NFL and passing yards. He's third in NFL and in passing completions. He's second in NFL. So when you say like that's Josh Islands in NFL, Lamar Jackson's in NFL. Joe Burles in NFL, Justin Herbert's in NFL. So when you start talking about people that when you talk about stats, first people in your contemporaries, it's like the numbers are the numbers. My agent is here to show me what I've done. When I ended up getting that one year, prove it one for four. And then I signed a three for 33 basically like Sam Darnal did 35 million dollars a year. He signed for 33 when do some making fifty. Okay, I understand now you got do's making 60 million dollars a year. I'm not trying to 65. I'm not trying to reset the market. But you can't tell me that Jordan love and Trevor Lawrence have better stats than me in these last three seasons that I played in the NFL.

So it's a short term deal. It's all good. And now these do they get five year extensions. Baker may feel saying, I can get the same for three. And it'd be two years of guarantee money. And then y'all can let me go after once or basically it's a two year deal that y'all signed before. I think I'm worth a hundred million dollars in these next two years, 50 million 50 million from his stats. And what he's done that you're paying from him for the three seed during the last three years. He's number two in y'all in touchdowns. He's number three in yards and two in completions. It's like the numbers are the numbers. So it don't matter if you like Baker may feel if you don't. His stats burst to contemporaries of people that are making that money. He has every right to ask for that money because that's what the market represents. So when he gets this money, I'm like, just you know what Baker? You deserve it because now you got to continue the ball because after these two years of that 50 million, it's you're up. It's up your back to the table quick. So you have to continue to perform because people are looking at you now like, yes, you're making this money. You have to be able to ball because if not, you're going to go to the tour. You're going to turn it to the.

No, not like that. No, no, listen, listen, tour Watson, aware instantly you have to start proving yourself again. They're not going to make they're not going to start giving you just 50, 60 million dollars a year. It's just because he's doing this and he barely hit the fight for the 50. And the fight for his life to get the 50 that man can fight. What is up up and down? You can't you fight and you fight for 50 and your number so you should get 60. That's crazy. You can't ask. But Baker may feel knows what it is. He knows how the league is. He knows he's getting a little bit up there and lead in the end gear. So when the younger dudes like love and travel Lawrence, they're like, this is their first contract. Baker may feel this is going in his ninth year in the league. They're trying to like, they're still making them work for it. Like, okay, no, you're okay. You're in there. Okay. But you have to still perform at second in the league and pass in touchdowns, second in the league and yards. You better continue to ball because you're not resetting the market. But you're going to get, okay, now, okay, your franchise quarterback. You better continue to play like it or we're at your neck.

You know what she's saying? Like he, there's no, there's no, there's no up for Baker may feel you better keep playing and they're going to give you what they feel like you need to get. Like right there. Yeah. I hear I've never played with him. But I hear he's he's a, you know, one of those teammates that you want to play where he's there. He's present. He's a dude does a great leader. I mean, you play with him. So I don't, you know, I don't know those things, but I haven't heard a bad word about him. Yeah. I'm happy for him, man. I'm glad you got that five five man. Well, deserve. You probably could have stuck him up for a little bit more. I don't know. Oh, no. Hi, this is Kylie Breakman, Angel Jaretana, Jeremy Colhane, Patrick McDonnell, and we're the hosts of the artists on artists on artists on artists podcast. The improvised character comedy podcast were each week a new panel of artists discuss their craft. Join us for a panel of wellness influencers. What I try to do is foe journal. I don't know, I think you guys heard of foe journaling.

Yeah, it's reading. It's called reading. So you're so we don't like to use that word anymore. Okay, a panel of New Yorker cartoonists. Have you guys done Terry Gross's Peloton class? No! I've been dying too. I'm so sorry. I'm seeing a reading of Sudako in the Thousand Paper Cranes by Audrement Donalds at the Wonderland Bookstore, 14. That's crazy. I went to the Wonderland Bookstore yesterday and I heard Nora Jones do a reading of Zero Dark Thirty. No way. We'll have to come to the last bookstore though. Kim Kattrol is reading the guitar tabs of yesterday. A panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the pope dress up? He, he winks on Halloween. It's right up next to the microphone. You can, I hear you get the elbows here. The eyelashes hate each other. You never seen it least so quiet as when the pope gets up to wink on Halloween. Middle school is a different world than the one we grew up in. I'm Dr. Joy and this is therapy for black girls. We spent real time on it in our surviving middle school run. Bringing in a child psychologist and a psychiatrist who's raising two black girls of his own to talk about what's really going on with our kids right now. So it's literally physiological and neurological and psychological chaos happening all this end up. We got into group chats and gaming, friendship and bullying. And how to tell the difference between healthy monitoring and the kind of surveillance that erodes trust. You're belonging. You could think of belonging as I can be myself and I can still be accepted. And then they're fitting in. Spitting in says I have to change who I am in order to avoid rejection. Then we turn the conversation toward the fathers sitting down with therapists, care games on black fatherhood and what it means to raise a daughter through this stage. You don't have more shorts so you can't do flips. You have one address here across your legs. That's the range of this run from screen time to identity to the fathers doing the work at

home. How to get off her device. The reality is there's a lot of light out there that we don't want you as your adult in the life to miss out on. This has been our surviving middle school run brought to you by the people who spend their careers thinking about exactly this. I'm Dr. Joy. Listen to therapy for black girls on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcast. Self-care September is here, which means it's time to rethink what self-care actually means. Yes, self-care can be a long walk. It can be an everything shower. It can be putting your phone on do not disturb. But sometimes it's actually about sitting with the uncomfortable stuff. And understanding your patterns, your boundaries. Finally figuring out while you keep doing things that you swore you would never do again. I'm Gemma Speg, the host of the psychology of your 20s podcast. And each week we unpack the psychology behind the experiences that shape your 20s. From relationships and friendships to money, anxiety, confidence, attachment, just becoming more comfortable with who you are. Unlike the quarter life crisis which is depicted as the collapse, the quarter life reinvention

is the expansion and the growth of something. When we develop the ability to be happy by ourselves, nobody else can take that from you. So this self-care September, don't just take care of yourself, get to know yourself as well. Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Our town is small taters by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right wing ties have purchased hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is high nears and apple at you. But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life. Stop right there, is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. God need men to rule, great! And decides to fight back.

Do not use my hard work to sell your bulls**t. They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test tube. They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to our town on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. I would say that's a hard work. I am more outspoken. Growing up a lot of the times because she was so quiet, I would speak for the both of us. Now I'm working on thinking a mom, not thinking before I speak. And Joey King. You know if your mom is yelling at your sibling and even if you're annoyed with your sibling,

you just won't let that slide. It's like you can only yell at your sibling. I'm like, you can't do that here. That is not what I want. Talk about her like that. I just want to talk about her like that. Plus we've been taking your calls, listening to your voice mails and giving advice or at least trying to. So if you've got catching up to do now's the perfect time. Listen to Hey Jonas on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. No, no, I think the biggest thing he was doing, he was trying to fight for that third year. Yes. They gave him the two year, a hundred million dollars with 50 million guaranteed. So he's looking, that's the one you're going to track. If you give him that two, that this contract is a two year, you get that third if you still doing your thing. You get that third if you still hoop him, but I know no matter what after the first, I still got the other 55 coming. You know what I'm saying? Like just for. Secure no question. The Giants. New head coach John Harbaw is letting the New York media know early.

He isn't saying nothing about nothing. He don't want to say nothing about check it out. There's no, I can say this. I can just say this right now. We put a stop to all these questions because I'm not going to tell you who's playing in the game. I'm not going to tell you who's starting. I'm not going to tell you what package we have in. I'm not going to tell you what plays we're running. I'm not going to tell you any of that. Okay. So we can make it great and have a great press conference or we can make it uncomfortable. But I'm not going to tell you because when you know the Cowboys know or every other team we play knows. And that's not the competitive interest of our football teams. That makes sense. So I think you could respond. Hey, hey, hey, hey, didn't hear that. Run that back one more time for me, please. Run that back for me one more time for me, please. Let me hear that one more time. He said I just say this. Just say this right now. We put a stop to all these questions because I'm not going to tell you who's playing in the game. I'm not going to tell you who's starting.

I'm not going to tell you what plays we're running. I'm not going to tell you any of that. Okay. So we can make it great and have a great press conference. We can make it uncomfortable. But I'm not going to tell you because when you know the Cowboys know or every other team we play knows. And that's not the competitive interest of our football teams. That makes sense. So I think you can respect that. Listen, they go have to respect that. And that makes sense to me, Joe. You know why it makes sense to me? It's because what a lot of these media people don't understand and realize is that just because you ask the question, don't mean I have to answer it. I think a lot of players should take that advice. Just because they ask the question, don't mean you have to answer it. They ask you an uncomfortable question. You don't have to answer it. Only thing you got to do is be available to take questions. They cannot force you to give a question.

That's like saying you have to answer this question and you have to answer it truthful. Like you're under oath on the jury stand. No, that's not what it is. Media availability is what you have to give them. If you don't want to talk and answer that question, you don't have to talk. You actually don't have to talk. That's the crazy thing. You just gotta be available, bro. Like listen, start following this. Okay, especially for you dudes and Cleveland men, stop letting them try to set you up for the tricky dicky. Okay, go and answer what you wanna answer and everything else. Just be like, you know what? I was walking my dog the day, not what I think about it. Go on some totally different. That'll let them know I'm not gonna answer your question. Mm-hmm. So are you with how he answered, how he did this interview just now?

I'm all with it because why would my go sit there and I done told y'all I'm not answering these questions. He didn't actually get y'all a frame of the questions that he's not going to answer. So with that being the case, I'm gonna tell you why I'm gonna tell you to try and ask a different question, geared a different way that is going to be rounded to him given the same answer. No, he's not gonna do it. So if y'all wanna make this a good interview, we can make this a good interview, get off of these questions and get on to something else. Or we can make this real uncomfortable. And you can sit here and it could be one of those where it's like, hey, hey, your coach over there. In Cleveland, he needs to take some of this advice. You ain't got to answer them questions. They ask you, bro. Like you don't have to answer. I know it'd be messed up not to answer or however it may look, especially if it's a question about, you know, starting this and that. But a lot of the answers he over there and Munk and Gibbon, bro, they cause more hurt than good.

No, for sure. I feel you, dear bro. I think one of the main thing is controlling the interview. You are in full control of what you say. You don't have to say certain things. You don't have to answer certain things. You don't have to answer any questions. You don't have to answer anything. No, no, for sure. And when you were saying like, you can say anything, spinning it to like those things about when I walked my dog the other day, like I think that was, you know what I'm saying? The weather was nice. When you're giving yourself, all you have to do is be available, it's when you coach it saying, I really don't have to say nothing to you guys. So if you keep on trying to dig, I can make this interview really awkward. Like I don't really want to have to answer anything. Because if it's play related, if it's certain things, like you said that he said that he doesn't want to talk about, starting lineups, schemes, all that. He's like, no, like that I'm going to leave that for the imagination. I'm going to make them plan for everything so then I can come in with what we got going on because I've been working on this scheme and I don't want them any advantage is something. Everybody's paying attention to what we got going on.

You're going to report it. You're giving them information on the team. I can completely understand that. So I'm with you. You can control the interview. If they're continuing to ask questions about lineups, about just certain things, I told you guys I'm not going to answer it. So if you're going to keep asking me that, it can be real awkward in here. I can just start talking about walking my dog or I just won't say anything. Because you don't have to respond. So you just be sitting there looking at you, hit you with the arm here so I won't get fined. Any way to just be like, media just notice, I don't have to give you anything. So when I'm asking you about just certain questions, I'm definitely not going to knock into. Please stay away from those so we can have a cool interview. I don't want it to be awkward, but I'm not going to give you information. So I'm not a, that's just not how I want to. Some of that, these older and more experienced reporters do if they try and get a hold of them rookies and be like, yo, especially if he's a some guy that, he may be getting a lot of playing time. Hey, man, what do they have in there? How are they going to use, I know they're going to do something. Yeah. Man, they're like, what is it that's going on, man? Did you hear what he said about it?

What do they say to it? He like, he just put a whole thing in there, man. They got actually, no, yeah. Actually, when they go 22 person, I'm going to be over here right here. Yeah, we got this, they got any trick plays or anything. Yeah, we got one in there. I can't tell y'all what it is, but it's one in there. You just talking to got a trick play. Be looking for a trick play. It's be like, you say it too much. If you're in the game, be looking for the trick play because you already told him that they got one eye and double and just coming. Like, no, y'all go ahead. Y'all sit down, y'all chill. Y'all have a good time. Y'all ask reasonable questions that are things that coaches and players can answer without giving up a competitive advantage. Then you'll get the answers that you're looking for. If not, our boss said you go get this right here. That is what it is, Joseph. And that's exactly what it is. Because I mean, he could throw the interview. They ain't got to say nothing.

Bill Bellt check the different interviews with a lot of other coaches. Bellt check with you. Like Bill, what you thought you was going to get out of Bill? You thought Bill was going to tell you anything about schematics. You better go in there and ask some questions that you expect to hear because you're going to get the answer out of them. Yeah, brother. Bless me. They came into something there with Bill. He'd be like, yeah, yeah. That's the question. I understand. I understand that New York media is different than the Baltimore media. Bigger market, all that good stuff. But what they need to understand is how our ball ain't changing. So y'all go have to adjust. It sucks when y'all got it. That was going to get awkward in there. You know what I'm saying? That's like the person that come in with the question of, how do you feel? I hit him real quick, good. Good. Next question. Hey, I especially when I was I was skittish or giving air.

Yeah, good. So good. Oh yeah, how do you think you played? I did art. Now see, I was I was I was I tried to keep a nice relationship with the media. I mean, I was talking but I didn't want to give away nothing. Joe, you chatty. You like to talk. You talk to anybody. I'm just you know what the the aqua party because I just I'm not trying to be mean, but then it's just I'm not trying to talk a little bit Joe, but I'm not going to go outside of my personality just to make you feel comfortable. But this see, that's my personality. I know your chatty. You go talk to the wall. Okay. If it if it mess around it and and and give you no, you know, I only. I mean, no, no, man. I'm gonna give everybody a chance. I'm gonna be chatty at first and then if I don't, but I'm not rocking with the box. I don't give every I'm gonna talk to everybody. You talk to anybody to talk to you. I'm gonna give them a chance for show. I'm not going to turn down talking to anybody.

I'm gonna talk to anybody. Joe, I'm not talking. You know what? This is what I tell you for show. I'm not talking to everybody twice. That's for show. I'm gonna give everybody a chance, but I'm gonna talk to every single person. But Joe, you've given them a whole chance to somebody. They come up to you. Yeah, they come up to you with a ain't sure how to feel to be in the NFL, bro. I'm like, all right. All right. I'm walking away. You go sit there and chat. You go to let me ask three, four other goofy questions. You know what I'm saying? That's like, that's like my, my, my, my sons. The sons, the question my sons hate. They hate this question, bro. What is it like James Harrison being your dad? They like this is my dad. I don't, I don't, I don't know anybody else, but my dad. Like, what is you talking about? Yeah, that's, that's the weird questions. I know. I know. That's my son. Yeah, you know your dad, Joe, he's like, it's, it's my dad. Prepare for that, Joe. That you wanted to be normal. Prepare for that, Joe. I know. Prepare your kids for that, man.

Let your kids know that it's going to be some people that's going to be around them just because they are your son. And this is going to be some people that's going to hate them just because they are your son. Cause all of the, all of the good and bad is going to be mixed in there. You know what I'm saying? So they got to have some discernment and be able to see who is trying to get in because they want to know them, who is trying to get in because they want to know you. The real fun to fake, real from the fake. They're going to have to have a high level discernment, Joe. Mm hmm. No, for sure. That's what I be on, man. Making sure my kids know us. Let's go on ahead and jump into these super chats. Cuddened Life is back. $5. She said, my grandson, Cameron starts at safety Cameron. Sorry, starts at safety. Starts at safety tonight with the central lines.

What's your hype words to get my Joe? To what's your hype words to him? I'm bringing off freaked out. Getting fired up, Divo. He's number 14. I'm not in, I'm not a hype guy. Go ahead, Joe. I'm not a hype guy too, but I'm going to tell you what he needs to do. What do you need to do? Safety, communicate, communicate, communicate, communicate. Make sure alignment, assignment, technique. Every single play. Be a line, know your assignment, know your technique, and then you're going to be able to move. Execute, you got to execute. You got to execute. Execute. You got to execute. If you're in alignment, you know your assignment, and then you know your technique, then you're in a better position to execute your stuff. No question. Make the plays you're supposed to make. Come on. And then every now and then, go ahead and flash on.

Show them something they wouldn't expect it. You know what I'm saying? Coving life back in the fall. I'm in the summer. Coving life back again. Coving life is $20. He said, he said, he said, the brands look like trash. 95 stop by trend and ate too much canker through me. Bro, do they serve canker through me? I hope not. In Australia, I'm being, that's what the canker would say. I don't know for sure. Ain't that like you to do it? Wow, I can't eat no canker with it. Anyway, I have made, I have made that flight in this heart to move really after two days to a scared thing because he don't want these still issues. Joe, explain your fit. See, first, Rams did look trash and because you wasn't able to move for two days, you know why they was, they were swollen. They were swollen. They was over. They couldn't even, they hold. The ankles were still swollen.

Cleats wasn't even fitting right. So, you know, this is a fishing of barrel. This is one out of a million. This ain't going to happen another time like that. That was, they look crazy. What else we got? She said, two, two a scared? Two what? I don't know. From that, two what, I just, I hope two is going to be okay. But from his obliques and him just not, it's not looking too good for two. He said I asked you, he's scared. He, he's scared. He don't want them still issues. Is he scared? You really think he's, I don't think he's scared. Y'all funny, y'all funny thinking he's, he's in the NFL. Like, I, you really, I'm, he not scared. Not, he not scared. And the fit, we going, Lake Mary Monsters again. Covered the life. We going to Lake Mary Monsters. Park of Jersey, you know what I'm saying? Cleveland all the way. You know what I'm saying? Is that hockey? Lake Mary Monsters. That's hockey. That's hockey. That's hockey. You know how we do that. Mine a lake.

Yeah, man. Okay, that's something you wanted to try out. Hi, this is Kylie Breakman, Angel Jaretana. Jeremy Colhane, Patrick McDonald. Yeah, so you're, so we don't like to use that word anymore. Okay, a panel of New Yorker cartoonists. Have you guys done Terry Gross's Peloton class? No! I've been dying too. I'm so sorry. I'm seeing a reading of Sudako in the Pousin, Thousand Paper Cranes by Audrement Donald at the Wonderland Bookstore. 14. That's crazy. I went to the Wonderland Bookstore yesterday and I heard No, our Jones duo reading of Zero Dark Thirty. No way. We have to come to the last bookstore though. Kim Ketrol is reading the guitar tabs of yesterday. Yeah. A panel of Eurovision participants.

And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He, he winks on Halloween. He gets rid of next to the microphone. You can, I hear you get the elbows here. The eyelashes hit each other. You never seen it least so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween. Listen to artists on artists on artists on the I heard Radio App, Apple podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. By age of rather than or so, at least 70% have a phone. Middle school is a different world than the one we grew up in. I'm Dr. Joy and this is therapy for Black Girls. We spend real time on it in our surviving middle school run, bringing in a child psychologist and a psychiatrist who's raising two Black girls of his own to talk about what's really going on with our kids right now. So it's literally physiological and neurological, psychological chaos, happening all this in-time. We got into group chats and gaming, friendships and bullying, and how to tell the difference between healthy monitoring and the kind of surveillance that a road's trust. There's belonging. You could think of belonging as,

I can be myself and I can still be accepted. And then there's fitting in. fitting in says, I have to change who I am in order to avoid rejection. Then we turn the conversation toward the fathers, sitting down with therapists, cure games on Black fatherhood, and what it means to raise a daughter through this stage. You don't have more shorts so you can't do flips. You have on the dress here, across your legs. That's the range of this run. From screen time to identity to the fathers doing the work at home. We have to get off our device. But the reality is there's a lot of life out there that we don't want you as your adults in the life to miss out on. This has been our surviving middle school run. Brought to you by the people who spend their careers thinking about exactly this. I'm Dr. Joy. Listen to therapy for Black girls on the iHot Radio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcast. Self-care September is here, which means it's time to rethink what self-care actually means. Yes, self-care can be a long walk. It can be an everything shower. It can be putting your phone on, do not disturb. But sometimes it's actually about sitting with the uncomfortable stuff.

And understanding your patterns, your boundaries, finally figuring out why you keep doing things that you swore you would never do again. I'm Jenna Speg, the host of the psychology of your 20s podcast. And each week we unpack the psychology behind the experiences that shape your 20s, from relationships and friendships to money, anxiety, confidence, attachment, just becoming more comfortable with who you are. Unlike the quarter-life crisis which is depicted as the collapse, the quarter-life reinvention is the expansion and growth of something. When we develop the ability to be happy by ourselves, nobody else can take that from you. So this self-care September, don't just take care of yourself, get to know yourself as well. Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the iHot Radio app, Apple Podcasts or whatever you get your podcasts. Our town is small taters by most standards, right? But to the people who grew up here, it's everything. What happens when a quiet Tennessee town becomes the front line in a battle over the future of America? Developers with right wing ties have purchased

hundreds of acres of land in the area. The first thing you see when it pops up is high nears and apple etch. But they weren't just planning houses. We need cities on a shining hill that exemplify and embody the Christian way of life. Stop right there, is that normal? A podcast about what happens when a small town becomes the site of a social experiment. God need material! Great! And decides to fight back. Do not use my hard work to sell your bulls**t They're not just opposing what's being planned for here. Our hometown is not a test too. They feel like they're standing in opposition to an entire administration. Guess you didn't move in on a bunch of dumb hillbillies now, did you? Listen to our town on the iHot Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey everyone, it's the Jonas Brothers with the Hey Jonas Podcast. We've been catching up with some great friends, Paul Rod, Michael Bubley, Seth Meyers, Nile Horan, Jake Shane, and making some new friends while getting into what's really like to have sisters,

like Alex National. She likes to control everyone and tell everyone to do that. Okay, well control is a hard work. I would say that's a hard work. I am more outspoken. Growing up a lot of the times because she was so quiet, I would speak for like the both of us. Now I'm working on like thinking a mom, really not thinking before I speak. And Joey King. You know if your like mom is yelling at your sibling, and even if you're annoyed with your sibling, you just like won't let that slide. It's like you only can yell at your sibling. I'm like, you can't do that here. That is not what I want to talk about. We're like that. I just want to talk about it. Plus we've been taking your calls, listening to your voice mails and giving advice. Or at least trying to. So if you've got catching up to do now's the perfect time. Listen to Hey Jonas on the iHot Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. I was just making sure you didn't want to go out to anything. Anything you put in the head. You got to your turn. You're trying to play basketball. That's all I was saying, Joe. The key man. One, two, three, $10.

Said, Hey, Dibo and Joe, y'all going to the Tennessee. Y'all going up to Tennessee for the stillers tightens in January. You going up, Joe? I haven't had it. I haven't had it. I haven't in the book. Also, how good do you think Rodgers does this season? And do you think we get 12 wins in a playoff win? Go stillers. Facts. We get 12 wins in a playoff win. I think we go worst case. I think we go 13 and four. That's that's that's that's that's my thing. I think we go 13 and four best case. We run the board. I ain't about the if it's if it's if it's 17. Dibo come on man. Why do you best cases? We win all 17. Ain't that the best case, Joe? That is the best case. All 17. That is the best. Straight through the playoffs. We go twanking. I mean, Dibo. 13 and who is the 72 dolphins? Man, they didn't they did 13 and four is what you're saying worst case.

What you saying, Joe? Oh, no, I'm saying we're going to definitely go and 13 and four and playoffs. We're going to win the playoff game. Okay. And then yeah, the same thing I said, it's it's it's health and we just got to say healthy and we're going to see what our defense looks like in our offensive line. Oh, man, I forgot. Then don't forget because I that's what I'm I'm focused. I gotta make sure because I got two offensive line. And they got to cook out their story. They write down. Offer to line. Hey, cook. Hey, cook. I'm watching you, bro. I ain't watching you. You all tell him I'm watching. Yeah, I'm watching. I have. I'm watching him like a hawk. I am not I am not even close to to to pleased with the performance in the process.

That go for the whole combination of the offensive line, but him personally, most definitely. Okay, most definitely. You know, you know, we had eyes on, you know, I got eyes on. My dog queen. Okay. Okay. For sure, for sure. My dog queen. Listen, bro, I got eyes on queen. And I got eyes on P. Duh. Mm-hmm. No, it's it's it's it's the tandem. I think they obviously. Obviously, obviously, that goes without being said, because I need T.J. I need Hasmeth. I need Herbeth to do to all of them be any any all pro pro, pro performances from all of them talking about double digit sex. And then that just goes what I being said. But then from the lineback and crew, bro, I just need us to be filling. Filling filling filling filling the gaps. I don't need I need us to be able to stop to two yard gains, one yard gains,

meeting the line of scrimmage, some of those. Second area, communication. D.O. That's all I ask, because we got the skills, we got the players. If you're if a body on the body and they're making plays on you, okay, all right, a couple like, you know what I'm saying? Everybody's getting paid, but you should never have somebody running stop freed to our defense. People looking around like they don't know the hell. Hands up in the air. People are motion. Hands up in the air. You should already there should be so much talking, because the communication is everybody's on the same page. So then if we get beat, okay, now we can deal with it, but I just don't need to see us bustling in the second area. Yeah, definitely, brother. We got Nick Breedon, nine, two, two, eight, five dollars. He said, when are you and Joe going to play Danny Ball? Or is he too victim-weight? What is Danny Ball? You don't want none of that. Yo, what is Danny Ball? I'm going to show you a video with Danny Ball. So basically what you do is you're playing, you're playing volleyball with a 10-pound medicine.

Oh, with a medicine ball. Yeah. Okay, okay, okay. And you know, you got to do something with your hip, you know what I'm saying? You got to get into the depths of your squat to get it back over, see? Over over that line, you know what I'm saying? Like, it, it, the guys that it's like you that are that victim-weight, it's a struggle. You know? It's not even about my weight. It's about my hip. You play hoop, don't you running on hardwood? Yeah, it's played in sound for sure. How much how much how much is a medicine ball? Oh, hey, Joe, I tell you what we're doing, man, we just go out there, we just go out there and toss it around a little bit. I toss the ball to you a little bit, we let you let you get a feel for, you know, I'm saying let you get to understand that of the firsts. Two on two, it's two on two. True downed ball is two on two. It's no step, you know what? You know what? Unless it's in the process of catching the ball, then you can continue through the motion.

Otherwise, where you catch it is where you throw it. You know what? I found my partner. You, the hell? You ain't about to have me out there working like a broke dick y'all. You understand? I'm going to be over there trying to try to try to catch up for you and then take up for you. They're going to be in line spot. So me and everything. No, no, Debal, I'm telling you, man, I need you on my team for motivation. Listen, hey, I'm a I'm a I'm a I'm a play on your team, but I'm going to make sure we get some newbies at least one. We got a play against we got a play against somebody that's 185. Yeah, we got a we got a put on the first. Class is on. We got a we got a level up the weight class. We got a really got a weight class in this man. We got a yes, we got to add our weights and combine and then lease the lens. One nine one 20 dollars. Thank you. She said, bless you. Thank you and your family stillers going to the Super Bowl.

I'm looking I'm looking for AFC championship man. That's the best thing about football. At the beginning of the season, everybody's zero and zero and then you look at it. And that's a line. I keep thinking about that man. Listen man. I hand you that's what I'm saying. Debo you go. I don't care man. Listen here. Remember you just. We going 33 is 17. Yes, sir Mike Mike $100 $5. And A-Raw is about to cramp because of old age. Not dehydration. How you just cramp because you old.

That's crazy. I said, oh, this little man. Try to. How you go? How you go just spike up? You go cramp up just out of nowhere. Lock up because you just cause you go out of nowhere. Man. Yeah. Look here. That's why I want to know who this is. Who the bum is. You go come over here. Oh, here. Rat bird. He got to be a rat bird. Who y'all play? You see it. Y'all play at the coast and y'all about to lose. Y'all play at the coast and y'all about to lose. Y'all going to get dog walk. Jonathan Taylor is going to run the rock all over y'all. Can't see it. And all they go do is put Lamar in position to have to throw the rock. They go make sure they can run. They go put nine in the box and then just go go man up and safety over the top. It's over with. Cokes defense is about to be your problem. Someone's problem.

That's what they're about to be your problem. Cause y'all try us. You understand that trash. Don't see. I can't wait. Man. But my browns got Jacksonville. Browns got Jacksonville and they about to get off to take because they trash. I'm gonna watch us see. Oh, you go watch us see. That's crazy. You ain't even defend them. I look at that. That's how much confidence Joe has has in your browns. That's how much confidence he has in his browns. I'm not trying to dull. It's going to be. It's going to be a competitive game. Jacksonville is a good team. I didn't even had him on my on my initial list of teams of people is going to be able to get the easy dub. Remember I told you our first easy dub is going to be the Panthers. I thought Panthers then Jets then Titans. So this one Jacksonville I was giving him a respect. When I named out our eight wins I didn't even put them in.

But then you go say that you're going to win now because why? We're changed. This was guaranteed. This was this was what I wrote was get run team. Okay, so you stand this is the first one. It's going to be. It ain't going to be. It's a fight. It's a fight. Y'all going to win the fight. You got to win the fight. Okay. You know I'm saying first game of the season. You never know. The first game overreaction. People be acting like oh my god. What happened? You know people. Okay, so you said nothing. You saw already first game. You know you're saying the quiet thing got out right? Yeah, yeah, exactly. Joe saying the quiet thing got out. Joe and Joe ain't even listening to his own advice. We just talk. You ain't got to answer the question, Joe. But you got to answer the question, Joe. Because we ain't the media, Joe. People want to hear we ain't got to say so.

Self-care September is your reminder to slow down, check in with yourself, get off your phone, and maybe ask why am I like this? I'm James Beak, host of the Psychology of Your 20s podcast. And this month we're helping you make sense of the person that you are becoming from setting boundaries and navigating friendships to understanding anxiety, confidence, relationships, and attachment. Sometimes our biggest decisions without us even realizing it aren't driven by what we truly want, but by what will prevent us from feeling lonely or being alone. Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the iHeartRadio app, Apple podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. So like by age or rather in a cell, at least 70% have a phone. getting into what's happening inside your kids brain, the group chat, and their friendships, and what you can do about it. Your child is not doing this on purpose. Listen to the therapy for Black girls on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcast, or wherever you get your podcast. Listen to our town on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. College football will hijack your weekend, ruin your sleep, and break your heart.

And that's why we make the Sullivan-Verbal College football show. I'm Ty Hildenbrand. He's Dan Rubinstein. Every week we preview the games that matter in the storylines that are going to ignite your group chat. And you can join us in the aftermath as we react to what happened, why it matters, and how the sport went completely bonkers yet again. Listen to the Solid Verbal College football show on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed Human.
