Welcome to Wisdom for the Day. In a world that keeps shifting, this is where we return to what holds us steady. Let's begin today grounded, focused, and standing strong. Today is day 85. Be still and know He is God, from Psalm chapter 46, verse 10, from the new living translation. And that scripture is, be still and know that I am God. I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world. When the storm's rage, our instinct is to scramble for solutions. But sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is be still and remember who God is. We try so hard to fix these issues ourselves and we fail miserably. And a lot of times we just need to sit still and let God do His work.
Stillness isn't passive, it's an act of trust and it says, God, I know you are in control. Let's pray. Remember God teaching me to be still in your presence and to trust you with every detail of my life. I ask this in Jesus' name, amen. All right, today I want you to set a timer for five minutes and simply sit quietly with God, repeating this verse as a prayer. You'll be amazed at how the Holy Spirit will take you over and calm you and give you peace in whatever that situation is. Let God calm your storm. All right, I'll see you tomorrow. Wisdom for the Day is produced by Lauren King, recorded at the Upper Room Studios with
