Welcome to Wisdom for the Day. In a world that keeps shifting, this is where we return to what holds us steady. Let's begin today grounded, focused, and standing strong. Today is day 70. Don't let fear control you. From 2 Timothy 1 verse 7, from the New Living Translation. And that scripture? For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. Fear is real, but it doesn't have to control you. God gives you His Spirit, which fills you with power and with love and with a sound mind. Fear makes us retreat. Faith helps us move forward.
When fear rises, remind yourself, this is not from God. I will choose faith over fear. Let's pray. Lord God, thank you so much for giving me a spirit of power and not fear. Help me walk in faith today. Knowing that with you, I have nothing to fear. I ask this in Jesus' precious name, amen. All right, today, when fear crosses your mind, speak this verse aloud. That's 2 Timothy 1, 7, and declare God's truth over your situation. OK? I'll see you tomorrow. Wisdom for the Day is produced by Lauren King, recorded at the Upper Room Studios with Intro and Outro Music by Weston McCurray.
