Welcome to Wisdom for the Day. In a world that keeps shifting, this is where we return to what holds us steady. Let's begin today grounded, focused, and standing strong. Today is day 68, when the storm lasts longer than you thought, from James 1-2-4 from the new living translation. In those verses, when trouble of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy, for when your endurance is fully developed you will be perfect and complete needing nothing. We all want storms to end quickly, but sometimes they linger. James reminds us that long trials can build endurance and deepen our faith. This doesn't mean that the storm is easy, but it does mean it's not pointless.

God is using even the hard days to shape you into who he called you to be. Instead of asking when will this end ask Lord what are you teaching me? Alright, let's pray. Father God, help me see the purpose and the waiting. Grow my endurance and grow my faith in Jesus' precious name I pray, amen. Alright, today, write down one lesson that you think God may be teaching you in your current storm. Just write it down, hold on to it, because when the storm is over, you'll understand it. Alright, I'll see you tomorrow. Wisdom for the Day is produced by Lauren King, recorded at the Upper Room Studios with Intro and Outro Music by Weston McCurrie. I'm Rick Ujas.
