Welcome to Wisdom for the Day. In a world that keeps shifting, this is where we return to what holds us steady. Let's begin today grounded, focused, and standing strong. Today is day 61, faith when you feel afraid, from Isaiah chapter 41, verse 10, from the new living translation. When reading from the scripture, don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Fear can feel paralyzing. When the waves of uncertainty rise, it's easy to focus on everything that can go wrong. God's word reminds us that fear doesn't get the final say.
His presence does. Isaiah 41, 10, is a promise straight from God's heart. He says, don't be afraid, for I am with you. Now notice that he doesn't say, I'll take away every problem immediately. He promises something better. His presence, his strength, and his help in the middle of the storm. Faith doesn't mean you won't feel afraid. It means you choose to trust God anyway. Fear may whisper your alone, but faith declares God is holding me up with his victorious right hand. Let's pray. Lord God, I confess that fear grips my heart more than it should. Help me choose faith when I feel afraid. I thank you that you are always with me. I ask His in Jesus' name, amen. All right, today, right down Isaiah 41, 10 on a card, or put it in your phone.
And when fear rises up today, just read it out loud and remind yourself that God is holding you. OK? I'll see you tomorrow. The wisdom for the day is produced by Lauren King, recorded at the Upper Room Studios, with intro and outro music by Weston McCurrie. I'm Rick Uhoss.
