Dave Filoni Takes on Key Role in The Mandalorian Sequel

Feloni already had key credits lined up, including co-writing the script alongside Favreau and serving as a producer. He will also reprise his live-action role as Trapper Wolf, a character he played in the series. Empire Magazine recently revealed even more, disclosing that Feloni took on second-unit director duties. That role usually covers action sequences, background shots, and other footage away from the main cast. With Kathleen Kennedy stepping down earlier this year, Feloni now leaves Lucasfilm alongside Lin-Win Brennan. Fans see this as a sign of deeper creative control.
