Dasear Haskins Joins Ole Miss, Boosts SEC Competition

The 6-foot-8 wing from Camden, New Jersey announced his commitment Monday after a breakout Richard sophomore year, averaging 11.1, points, 6.4 rebounds, and shooting 48% from the field. He started every game for the Hawks last season and earned Atlantic 10 All-Rookie honors as a freshman, playing all 35 contests. Now he's heading south to the Magnolia State for a bigger role in the southeastern conference. Haskins joins Adam Clark from Seton Hall to bolster the back court while Ole Miss snacked front court help with Christian Brown from James Madison in D, Okofor from Washington State and Roman C. Uleba from Pittsburgh. The Rebels dealt with the parcher's two, like Eduardo Klafke to Butler, Corey Chess to McNeese State, and Tyler's Jordan to Georgia Tech, reshaping the roster through the transfer portal.
