On Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 1 p.m. U.S. Pacific Time, watch this special Virtual Enlightenment Salon where Dr. Dan Elton, the U.S. Transhumanist Party Director of Scholarship, recaps his experiences at the August 24 Human Augmentation Summit in Cambridge, MA, as well as at a special August 31 event with Dr. David Sinclair and Dr. Manolis Kellis, in Marblehead, MA. A panel of U.S. Transhumanist Party Officers and members discussed Dan Elton’s impressions of these two events and asked questions about the various projects and ideas featured there – including experiments with generative AI, a concept for an artificial womb, advances in wearable EEG devices, granular tracking of individual health data, the effort to get aging declared a disease, and the possibility of greatly extending lifespans by addressing the problem of epigenetic aging.
