Damn You Hollywood: Coyote vs. Acme (2026)

Tonight on Damn You  Hollywood we are reviewing, Coyote vs Acme. After years of delays, controversy, and a near-permanent shelving by Warner Bros. Discovery, the long-awaited Looney Tunes feature has finally made it to audiences. Directed by Dave Green and starring Will Forte, John Cena, Lana Condor, and the iconic cast of Looney Tunes characters, the film follows Wile E. Coyote as he finally decides to take legal action against the company responsible for decades of defective rockets, explosives, traps, and assorted catastrophic failures. What begins as a ridiculous courtroom premise quickly expands into a surprisingly affectionate celebration of Looney Tunes history, mixing live-action comedy, animation, corporate satire, and classic cartoon chaos. We’ll discuss whether the movie was worth saving, how well it understands Wile E. Coyote, why John Cena makes such an effective corporate villain, and whether Warner Bros. nearly buried one of its better modern attempts to keep these characters alive.
