The Dallas stars grab a thrilling 4-3 overtime win over the Chicago Black Hawks on Sunday night at American Airlines Center. Miro Heisken instilled it just 22 seconds into extra time with a slick 5-hole shot off a pass from Matt Duschein. This victory stretched their point street to 12 games. Miro jumped out to a 2-0 lead early in the first period on goals from Tyler Bertuzzi and Sam Rindzel. Dallas fought back with Tally's from Nathan Baston late in the first and Maverick Borkay early in the third to even it up. Justin Haikowian then put the stars ahead in the third. Connor Bader nodded things at 3-3 with under 2 minutes left, tipping a shot pass Casey to Smith after Chicago pulled the goalie. Fans were on the edge of their seats as the game headed to overtime. The stars improved to 39 wins, 14 losses and 10 overtime losses.

Dallas goal tender Casey to Smith stopped 12 of 15 shots in a strong bounce back effort. Maverick Borkay added a goal and an assist in the win. The stars had their 10 game winning streak snapped Friday in a shootout loss to Colorado. Chicago's Arvid Soderblom made 28 saves but couldn't hold the lead.
