1:03In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, the Lord be with you. My brothers and sisters, as we continue our journey of Lent, let's take a moment to thank our God for all the graces and blessings we have received. Let's ask the Lord to continue to give us strength and mercy and peace. You were sent to heal the contract of heart. Lord, have mercy. You came to call sinners. Christ, have mercy. You are seated at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us. Lord, have mercy. May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life. Let us pray.

2:05May your grace not forsake us, O Lord, we pray. But make us dedicated to your holy service, and at all times, obtain for us your help. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God forever and ever. Amen. A reading from the book of the prophet Daniel, as Zaria condemned to death by fire, stood still in the fire and prayed aloud. For your name's sake, do not give us up forever and do not annull your covenant. Do not withdraw your mercy from us for the sake of Abraham, your beloved, and for the sake of your servant Isaac and Israel, your holy one, to whom you promised to multiply their descendants like the stars of heaven and like the sand on the shore of the sea.

3:08For we, O Lord, have become fewer than any other nation, and are brought low this day in all the world because of our sins. In our day, we have no ruler or prophet or leader, no burnt offering or sacrifice or ablation or incense, no place to make an offering before you and to find mercy. Yet, with the contrite heart and a humble spirit, may we be accepted, as though it were with burnt offerings of rams and bulls or with tens of thousands of fat lambs. Such may our sacrifice be in your sight today, and may we unreservedly follow you for no shame will come to those who trust in you. And now, with all our heart, we follow you. We fear you and seek your presence.

4:10Do not put us to shame, but deal with us in your patience and in your abundant mercy. Deliver us in accordance with your marvelous works and bring glory to your name, O Lord. The Word of the Lord. Thank you, John. Remember your verses, O Lord. May we to know your ways, O Lord. Teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth and teach me for you are the guide of my salvation.

5:14Remember your mercies, O Lord. Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of your steadfast love, before they have been from a fold. Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions. According to your steadfast love, remember me for the sake of your goodness, O Lord. Remember your mercies, O Lord. God and upright is the Lord.

6:16Therefore He instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right. And teaches the humble His way. Remember your mercies, O Lord. Praise to you, Lord. King of eternal glory.

7:16With all your heart turn to me. For I am tender and compassionate. Praise to you, Lord. King of eternal glory. The Lord be with you. A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew. Peter came and said to Jesus, Lord, if a brother or sister sins against me, how often should I forgive? As many as seven times? Jesus said to him, not seven times, but I tell you 77 times.

8:20For this reason, the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished to settle accounts with his slaves. When he began the reckoning, one who owed him 10,000 talents was brought to him. And as he could not pay, his Lord ordered him to be sold together with his wife and children in all his possessions and payment to be made. So the slave fell in his knees and said, have patience with me, and I will pay you everything. And out of pity, the Lord of that slave released him and forgave him the debt. But that same slave, as he went out, came upon one of his fellow slaves who owed him a hundred deniery. And seizing him by the throat, he said, pay what you owe. Then his fellow slave fell down and pleaded with him, have patience with me, and I will pay you.

9:24But he refused. Then he went and threw him into prison until he would pay the debt. When his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were greatly distressed. And they went and reported to their Lord all that had taken place. Then his Lord summoned him and said to him, you wicked slave, I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. Should you not have had mercy on your fellow slave as I had mercy on you? And an anger, his Lord handed him over to be tortured until he would pay his entire debt. So my heavenly Father will also do to every one of you if you do not forgive your brother or sister from your heart. The gospel of the Lord.

10:24Praise to you, Lord, which is this Christ. Well, Jesus is being pretty blunt with us today. If we don't forgive, we're not going to be forgiven. You know, every time we pray to our Father, we say it, forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Do we see forgiveness? We have to be able to forgive. And I say to people all the time, forgiveness, mercy, is at the heart of our Christian faith. We like to sing the old song, they'll know we are Christians by our love. That's only partially true because other people, non-Christians know how to love as well. The song should say they'll know we are Christians by our mercy and forgiveness because that's what makes Christians stand out.

11:29Our willingness to forgive those who have hurt us deeply. Just as Jesus was able to forgive those who hurt him, including those who nailed him to the cross. And Jesus tells this beautiful story about this Lord, this master, who had people who owed him. And I'm not sure how much 10,000 talents was supposed to be, but it sounds like an awful lot of money. We might think, well, it doesn't cost anything to forgive. In this case, it cost the master 10,000 talents to forgive his slave, but still he was willing to do it. Out of compassion, out of mercy. And that same slave refused to forgive a fellow slave who owed him much, much less. The whole point of this is that we have received forgiveness from our God.

12:34Let's not say, well, I don't need to be forgiven for anything because I'm perfect, I'm holy, right? No, we're all humans. We're all weak. We're all broken. And yes, we're all sinful in some ways. But God is always willing to forgive us. All we have to do is ask. That's why Jesus came down from heaven to sacrifice his life for us and for our salvation. Because we were weighed down by the weight of our sins. And back in the day, in Jesus' time, before people had to go to the temple and sacrifice lambs and what have you to receive forgiveness, Jesus sacrifices himself. He pays the price. Doesn't expect us to pay anything. He does it all for us. But there's that one catch. We want to get that forgiveness. Then we have to forgive each other.

13:35The beginning of the gospel actually gives us the whole context. It's St. Peter asking Jesus, how often should I forgive as much as seven times? Sounds like a lot, eh? Some people will say, I'll forgive once, maybe twice. On a good day, maybe three times. Seven times was a lot. And Jesus says 77 times. It's not meant to just be a number. It's meant to be infinite mercy. You ever hear that line, infinite mercy? That's what God has for all of us, infinite mercy. And the other part of it is called unconditional love. We're journeying through length. That is a wonderful time to ask for forgiveness, to atone for our sins, to do some penances. But the best thing we can do during a length is to reflect on who we're holding grudges against, who we have rankered towards.

14:43Who are those people that may have heard us 35 years ago and we still can't let go? Because maybe it still hurts. And even though time is supposed to heal all wounds, those cars remain. This length, let's learn from the example of Jesus, who chose not to get even with people, not to seek vengeance, not to hate. But only to love and to forgive. This length, we pray that God will grant us His mercy and love. And God will, if we simply try to practice those same virtues, towards all those people who've harmed us in any way. God is mercy. As people of faith, we strive each day to reflect that mercy to all our brothers and sisters.

15:44Let's forgive with another. As Christ has forgiven us. And now, let's offer our prayers to the Lord our God, who always hears us and answers us in our need. For all those in our daily TV Mass prayer and tensions book, we pray to the Lord. This month's community prayer is for fathers, grandfathers and protectors, that they may lead with wisdom and humility inspired by the quiet faith of St. Joseph. We pray to the Lord. We continue to pray for peace in our troubled world, for an end to war and violence for an end to hatred and division, for peace in all lands, for peace also in the church.

16:44For peace in our families and for peace in our troubled hearts, we pray to the Lord. We remember also our loved ones who have died. May they rest in the peace of Christ. We pray to the Lord. We pray to the Lord. Loving God, we ask You to hear our prayers and fill our hearts with Your peace. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Blessed are You, Lord God, of all creation, for through Your goodness we have received the bread we offer You. Prior to the earth and work of human hands, it will become for us the bread of life. Blessed are You, Lord God, of all creation, for through Your goodness we have received the wine.

18:04We receive the wine we offer You. Prior to the vine and work of human hands, it will become our spiritual drink. Blessed be God forever. Pray, brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God, the Almighty Father. May the holy partaking of this mystery give us life, O Lord, we pray, and grant us both pardon and protection through Christ our Lord. Amen. The Lord be with you. And with your spirit. Lift up your hearts. Let us give thanks to the Lord, our God.

19:07It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father, Almighty, and eternal God. For you have given your children a sacred time for the renewing and purifying of their hearts that freed from disordered affections, they may so deal with the things of this passing world as to hold rather to the things that eternally endure. And so with all the angels and saints, we praise You as without end, we acclaim. Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of hosts, heaven and death are full of Your glory. Hosanna in the highest.

20:09Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest. You are indeed holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make holy, therefore, these gifts we pray, by sending down Your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the body and blood. Of our Lord, Jesus Christ. At the time He was betrayed and entered willingly into His Passion, He took bread and giving thanks broken and gave it to His disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body which will be given up for you.

21:20In a similar way, when supper was ended, He took the chalice, and once more giving thanks, He gave it to His disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it. For this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant, which will be poured out for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of me. The mystery of faith. We proclaim Your death, O Lord, and profess Your resurrection unto Your command. We proclaim Your death, O Lord, and profess Your resurrection unto Your command. Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of His death and resurrection, we offer You, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation.

22:26Giving thanks that You have held us worthy to be in Your presence and minister to You. Humbly be pray, that partaking of the body and blood of Christ, we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit. Remember, Lord, Your Church spread throughout the world, and bring her to the fullness of charity, together with Leo, our Pope, and Francis, our Bishop, and all the clergy. Remember also our brothers and sisters, who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection, and all who have died in Your mercy. Welcome them into the light of Your face. We have mercy on us all, we pray. That with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with Blessed Joseph, her spouse, with the Blessed Apostles, and all the saints, who have pleased you throughout the ages. We may merit to be co-airs to eternal life, and may praise and glorify you through your Son, Jesus Christ.

23:31Through him and with him and in him, O God Almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours forever and ever. Amen. At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

24:40The kingdom of power and the glory are yours now and forever. Lord Jesus Christ, who said to apostles, peace, I leave you, my peace, I give you. Look not in our sins, but on the faith of your church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will, who live and reign forever and ever. The peace of the Lord be with you always, and we are your Savior. Let us offer each other the sign of peace. Let us offer each other the sign of peace and unity in accordance with your will, who live and reign forever and ever.

26:00You take away the sins of the world, grant us peace. Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world, last are those called to the supper of the Lamb. Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word in my soul shall be healed. Please join me now in this act of spirit.

27:16spiritual communion. My Jesus, I believe that you are present in this holy sacrament of the altar. I love you above all things, and I passionately desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come spiritually into my soul so that I may unite myself wholly to you, now and forever. Amen. Let us pray. The holy partaking of this mystery give us life, O Lord, we pray, and grant us both pardon and protection. Through Christ, our Lord, the Lord be with you, may Almighty God bless you, the Father,
