DAILY LIGHT FOR DAILY LIVING - God Is Patient

There are many who resist the cross, believing the blessings in their lives, good health, loving family, security, financial independence, are evidence that God loves them and will therefore not judge them, that such a loving God will not send anyone to hell. But Paul reminds us in Romans 2.4, do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindnesses lead you towards repentance? God's goodness should drive us to our knees and gratitude. We should fling ourselves at the foot of the cross, surrendering our lives to the one who loves us so much he died for us. Listen to me, don't mistake God's patience for toleration of sin. Instead, repent of your sin and turn to God now, before his patience runs out. This is Anne Graham Lott's.
