Daily Devo | Hope That Sees Through the Darkness (Advent 6, Isaiah 9:1–7)

Highrock Church

About this episode

When we are in a dark place, that darkness can seem unending. Hope in God can shine like a light that pierces the darkness. In a very dark moment of Israel's history, God spoke a message of hope through Isaiah. God showed them a future promise of the coming messiah. We, too, are reminded that hope rests not on what we can see, but on who God is.

- Where is there darkness in your life? Does it sometimes feel unending and hopeless? Where do you need God's light of hope to shine into your life?
