About this episode
After healing the man born blind, Jesus continues to engage with the crowds, including the religious leaders. In the case of those leaders, this engagement is confrontation. Specifically, he calls such leaders "thieves and robbers" who attack and scatter the sheep rather than leading them to the good life to which Jesus is the gateway.

For Reflection:
Jesus says that he is the gate, the gate to a full life.
- What are some of the "thieves and robbers" you have experienced in the world or perhaps in the church? What values and messages have led you in a different direction that you later discovered robbed you of life rather than leading you to a fuller life?
- What are some of the ways that you have experienced a more fulfilling life because of Jesus? If Jesus were not in your life right now, what would be missing for you?
