He stayed relentlessly positive, calling himself one of the happiest Stage 4 patients out there because of his love for life, family, and friends. The toughest part was breaking the news to his 12-year-old son, Jackson, at age 8. He had burst into tears, asking why it was happening to him, and if dad would be okay. Seredar couldn't fully reassure him, and that moment crushed him more than the treatments.
