DAB Kids September 16, 2026

0:00Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible Kid, a musical. Today is the 16th day of September. Today are in Galatians 2, 17 to 39, and written the easy to read version. We Jews came to Christ to be made right with God, so it is clear that we were sinners too. Does this mean that Christ makes us sinners? Of course not. But I would be wrong to begin teaching again those things that I gave up. It was the Lord Himself that caused me to end my life under the law. I died to the law so that I could live for God. I have been nailed to the Christ, the cross with Christ. So I am now, I am not the one living now. It is Christ living in me. I still live in my body, but I live by faith in the Son of God. He is the one who loved me and gave Himself to save me. I am not the one destroying the meaning of God's grace. If following the laws how people are made right with God, then Christ had not have to die.

1:05You people in Galatia are so foolish. Why do I say this? Because I told you very clearly about the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. But now I see it as though you have let someone use their magical powers to make you forget. Tell me this one thing. How did you receive the Spirit? Did you receive the Spirit by following the law? No, you received the Spirit because you heard the message about Jesus and believed it. You began your life in Christ with the Spirit. Now, do you try to complete it by your own power? That is foolish. You have experienced many things. Were all those experiences wasted? I hope they were not wasted. Does God give you the Spirit because you follow the law? Does God work miracles among you because you follow the law? No. God gives you His Spirit and works miracles among you because you heard the message about Jesus and believed it. The Scriptures say the same thing about Abraham. Abraham believed God.

2:05Because of this faith, he was accepted as one who was right with God. So you should know that true children of Abraham are those who have faith. The Scriptures told what happened and what happened in the future. He is writing the said that God would make the non-Jewish people right through their faith. God told this good news to Abraham before it happened. God said to Abraham, I will use you to bless all the people on earth. Abraham believed this and because he believed he was blessed. All people who believe are blessed the same as Abraham was. At the beginning of what we read today, Paul was explaining that we are all sinners. Because at the time that this was written for the Galatians, a lot of the Galatians they were holding to Jewish tradition. And a lot of Jewish tradition at the time was teaching that you weren't exactly sinners.

3:12Like if you sinned, you had to go do a blood sacrifice. Or you had to go do these big miraculous things. You had to go do these big projects almost. They get saved. And Jewish tradition didn't exactly teach that you were always a sinner. Everybody sinned. It kind of taught that some of the priests or some of the higher class people in the religion were without sin. Or less sinful than other people. And what Paul is teaching is that with Christianity, with what Jesus taught, it's the exact opposite that we are all sinners. We all sin. So let's pray that we will not see ourselves as better. But we will see ourselves as redeemed sinners. That still sin. But try not to sin through Christ. There Jesus, we sin every day. We sin when we don't know it.

4:13We sin when we do know it. We are all sinners. But most of us, some of us, lots of us are redeemed or are trying to be redeemed. We, as Christians, should identify as redeemed believers, not fake redeemed or not performative. But to truly be redeemed sinners. I was to know that our sin is never going to leave. Our sin is something that we are going to do every day. We will sin every day. I hope to try to limit the amount of sins that are in our inventory, the amount of sins that we do every day. Help us to try our hardest to live a life for you and work more for you. In Jesus' name, Amen. That's it for today. I'm Ezekiel. I'll be back tomorrow. Bye.
