You're listening to the Dana & Parks podcast on KMBZ. So she will be at Nuckleheads next month. This song is now in your head forever. Yeah, she's coming to Nuckleheads on Wednesday, April 8th along with the M80s. I think they're opening for her. But yeah, we got to talk earlier this week and alone now. So right out of the gate, I wanted to know, Tiffany, I said,

how loud did you actually squeal when you found out you were in stranger things? Oh my gosh, I'm so I'm a huge fan of the show period and I had no clue that they were actually going to put my song in stranger things. So it was a real surprise and I was home, I was cooking dinner, my son was there. Just like, you know, anybody's a Christmas, I was just off the road and literally my phones started just blowing up. A couple of friends, just by coincidence, we're watching different friends. We're watching stranger things. So I got two different tags, they're like, girl, you're in stranger things. I was like, what? They're like, I keep going down in stranger things. I was like, no, so of course I stopped everything, sat down, watched it and it was like, well this is fun. Very cool. So really good highlight for the end

is 2025, of course, one in 2026. So yeah, it's been a really great adventure to be part of, again, surely you love so much. And then that research is so many different younger generations, fighting the song, fighting the 80s. It's been really fun to see. She's lovely. And her very first album, Tiffany, the appropriately aptly named album that rocketed her to start him, came out in 1997, but I won 87. 87? Yes. She recorded 40 songs for this album, for her very first debut album. And I wanted to know, is that true? Yeah, we just kept recording. You know, I mean, obviously we were hoping to get a record deal. So we just kept recording, just to make it, you know, bright, just find the right song. So I think that we did, obviously,

you know, it could have been them, I think alone now. And so yeah, I mean, it was like over a year that I was just in the city of recording, you know, and basically for approaching labels until it finally happened. Her favorite song, any guesses, her favorite 80s song, any guesses? Any artist? Any artist? Her favorite 80s song, any artist. Any artist. It's going to be simple minds. How did you know that? I'm just guessing. That was eight. It is literally, don't you forget about me. That is her favorite all-time song of the 80s. And of course, I wanted to know, I wasn't just says. That was a total guess. That was the, that was, you chose wisely, sensei. But of course, I wanted to know what, what song, what 80s song makes her turn the channel. Gosh, I don't really know. Now I'm not really, I'm not an 80s here. Yeah, I'm, yeah, I don't think so. I'm pretty, I'm pretty cool. Open up music. Now there might be songs that, again, that would get

into your head and you're like, oh, God, no. You won't go away. I think we're alone as one of those. Like, you know, some of my friends are like, I love you. But sometimes if I hear your song, I have to like, say no. Because that song will stick in my head all day long. And it's just like it's haunting. I can't do it. You have to admit that is quite the earworm. It isn't earworm. It is. No doubt about it. We have all been having, I mean, I don't even have it in my phone, like on my Spotify. But like, it's playing in my head right now because Sam brought us back with it. I just want, what, like an hour ago, before we even talked about this interview, I walked in and Sam was whistling. I think what was it selling? Got it. Yeah. Okay. So she's super excited about coming to KC. But is she ready? I think she is. Well, exactly that. That I am ready to rock with

everybody. And I have always had a really good time. So exactly that. The girls are lovely. And ready to, you know, sing along because I'm going to make you say, just say, you know, I'd be a little dancing. I can be required. So yeah. And that's kind of what I depend on. I think it's a really, I don't know. I go to Kansas City. Firstly, I have some family parents. I'm very excited to see them when I go. She's coming. She's got family hair. So she's excited to have them. She's family in town. She has family right here in Kansas. I know. And then sounds like Tiffany's got a lot planned for 2026. I said, girl, what do you got on? What do you got tapped for the rest of the year? This podcast is brought to you by Wise, the app for international people using money around the globe with the Wise account. I've got a musical that I'm an part of off Broadway in New York. Next year we'll go to Broadway but you know we're starting this two-week run just to get you. I'm so busy this year that I couldn't sit here but it's amazing to be a part of it. It's called Spandex. It's set in Florida in the 80s so it's a little bought a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to that in September. Oh she's got off-broad. She's got a musical coming out called Spandex. Yeah I think I know what will I'll be doing when that show comes to Kansas City. We're going to see Spandex. We're not wearing it. Oh I'm going to be wearing it. We are not. Rock my Spandex. Yes so Tiffany for yourself. Tiffany along with the I look okay. Dude I saw by the way great interviewer and man that took me back in time.

I want to go. I'll go to the show. Yeah I'll go to the show. I think we're alone now. I don't know any other songs but. That's on a Wednesday kid so you got a boogie. It's on a school night. It's at Wednesday April 8th 7pm at Knuckleheads. Sam go to go to Spotify if you would. Yeah she'd be so kind. She had three really big hits back in the 80s. Obviously I think we're alone now was all this time. All this time. I could have been. I could have been. That's the other one. Could have been was number one and then I said if love is blind now. I saw him standing there. I saw him standing there. That's right. Which was a remake of the Beatles. I saw her standing there. Right and and I think we're alone now was Tommy. It was that's a remake as well. Which by the way I'm not digging on her. That tells you why she's still touring. The royalties go to the writers. And could have been I think is the only song in her top three that she wrote. And so I think we're alone now was a remake. I saw her I saw him standing there. Which was a playoff

of I saw her standing there. Which was written by the Beatles. So she's not making a dime now when those songs the very first song that she learned was Delta Dawn. Back when she was like four years old. Delta Dawn. What's that flower? You have that one. Oh, I mean we could give Tiffany a lot of money. I would not quit your day. We're not going to. Okay. We're not going to. She seems liful. She was delightful. She's got she's even got a cookbook coming out. She's got a cookbook coming out about remaking all of her favorite foods from the 80s. Like where did she live? Did you find Nashville? She was in Nashville. And she's a fan of Stofras pizza from the 80s. Remember Stofras pizza on the French bread? Well, she's got a brand new cookbook coming out and she's going to remake all of your 80s favorites. Like pigs in a blanket. I wonder how many people when they go to the show at knuckleheads are going to put on their 80s garb. Do their hair to the moon? Oh, I'm going to I'm going to flock a seagulls this main. That's

great. I'm going to. Oh, I saw him standing there as the most 80s song I think I've ever heard. Oh, my God. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. What's this? No, no, no, no. This isn't how it was. That's not how it was. That has to be a remix. I don't. But I've never heard that song. Yeah. I've never heard that version. All right. I saw him standing there. That was a big one. So it was a big one. Remember the mall video. Oh, she was the queen of the malls. That's how she got her. She went on a mall tour of 40 malls and then is that right? Yeah. By the time it was done, her song, I think we're alone now, the ultimate earworm was number one. I'll be darned. So just goes to show you a little engine. You know, a ingenuity. If they wanted to make a ton of money and they wouldn't be she wouldn't be playing in knuckleheads. Maybe the uptown or the midland. If she would

team up with Debbie Gibson, they don't have a rival anymore. That was made up in the 80s. But yeah, that'd be a great. Did she tell you that? No. Oh, yeah. But she's started in several like B movies with Tiffany, like Sharknado or something. I don't remember. But if the two of them would go on tour, I think we're we're selling out the midland. We're selling out the uptown. That would be big. Tiffany just brought the house down. She played at SeaWorld this weekend, along with Wade for it. An emotion. My favorite song of all time. Of course. And she rocked it. That girl can sing. So get ready to rock Kansas City because she's going to. Okay, I never heard anybody say get ready to rock. Well, my devil horns are ready, baby. Okay. Okay, not. I mean, I'm going to rock rock. You would throw up devil horns at a Tiffany show? Oh, why not? Wouldn't you? No. Okay, that's on you. So would you throw devil horns at a bunge over concert? No. I would pee my pants at a bunge over concert like Dana would. But 913-586-7798-586-7798.
